I loved the hotel. Someone spent a lot of effort to design the antique house according to the theme "City Palais" and did a wonderful job. Everything is tasteful, noble and elegant and shows an amazing love of detail. The hotel has that old fashioned charme of a bygone era but has all those modern amenities that a traveler wants. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean with a huge bathroom and high ceilings. Despite being in the center of Braunschweig the room was really quiet. The breakfast was rich and diverse, something for everybody. Service was great and staff were friendly and helpful. I loved the location in the city center with all its shops and restaurants nearby.

Everything was perfect. There is only one small point I would like to mention: the light switches were a bit confusing in the beginning. Although they were all clearly marked I often switched on the wrong light or pressed the wrong side of the switch. But after a while it got better. It didn`t annoy me really.

Excellent stay at this hotel. I've stayed in many hotels over the years but what made this exceptional was the service from the staff at reception. Magdalena on arrival was nothing but friendly and professional as was the gentleman in the morning. They both were friendly without it being robotic. The Room was lovely with only one little niggle (see what I didn't like). Excellent size with a room for our 2 kids with our huge main bedroom extremely quiet. Overall I would return here as 1st choice.

For a massive 2 bed apartments I would of expected a bath in the bathroom not just a shower.

Great location, parking on site, fantastic breakfast and comfortable and clean rooms. Really in the city center and all you need is within minutes walking distance.

Nice and cosy hotel in the city center, calm and quiet neighbourhood. Everything was super clean. Breakfast was rich and tasty.

Unstable Wi-Fi. Limited parking space. Bed mattress was uncomfortable (firm edge frame and soft in the middle).

The Room was recently remodeled and it was soooo beautiful and comfortable! Wood floors, great big windows! Nice shower! Super clean! Location was good because it is downtown and there are shops and Churches and Museums walking distance. The Staff was so helpful and so attentive to our needs and questions. Breakfast area it is soo beautifully decorated, with fresh flowers, very elegant and good selection, great coffee.

Just the noise outside, lots of men walking late at night and yelling or talking too loud. It is not the fault of the Hotel, they should complaint to the City and remove these people.

Location was spot on for me, rooms are huge comfy beds and the breakfast was very good I arrived just after 1 in the morning staff was excellent getting me checked and arranging a taxi for my business meeting the next morning

Great place to stay both in terms of location and the hotel itself. The staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend this place.

This message is for the hotel. I enjoyed the stay, but I didn't like the breakfast. The offer seems large, but lacks personality and taste. Give people something special, not from the shelves of Lidl. Also the pillows were too flat.

Interior & personal were splendid. the hotel looks chique and the location is tip top.

The mattress was a bit hard for my taste. but that is the only thing I can say about being uncomfortable.

The hotel is small and has character. The bed was comfortable, some favours, which was great and lovely coffee.

It is booked too fast some times :-)
