Only reason for not high score for staff is that like many hotels now there of often very little contact other than check in. Room very modern design with stylish built in shower and touch operatrd light switches and automatic toilet light. Room decoration clean and bright with large panorama window down to floor level giving an excellent view ono the street. Excellent location within 10 mins walk of the Altstadt. Frequent tram service right outside the hotel and round the corner giving quick access to the Central Station and across the river to the Neustadt. Typically good German style buffet breakfast set up. Row of restaurants across the road including the excellent Shamrock Irish Pub.

No dislikes. This is as close to the perfect hotel for my needs as I have ever come across. Well done Ibis !

The hotel is located above a shopping center which was not bad. The breakfast was really nice and had everything that we wanted. The city center was a 5 minute walk from the hotel and we could sight see and take a nice casual walk around the city. There were plenty of restaraunts in the area to choose from.

The shower was located in the room. By in the room I mean literally it was next to the beds and it was glass with a bit of frosted glass. Since I was travelling with my Granddaughter, when I showered she waited in the hallway and when she showered, I had to leave the room. If you are travelling alone this would not be a problem.

Great location (safety, access facility, central position) pleasant & efficient staff, quiet clean room, no need to carry heavy room keys or card key to lose, bright lighting interior & practical check in & out arrangenent,

Room cld be a bit compact for physically big guests.. there could be a bit more hooks on the wall to hung dresses, or a shelf etc as there is no space for closet. When one stays alone, a guest can use half of the bed to put clothes, but, otherwise it looks a but messy yo spread things on the bed, and especially if 2 or more pp are sharing the room. Highly recommend the installation of some bar on the wall so that dresses, belts, bags, skarves etc can be hanged (?) But these are a minor point for future improvement!

The location was awesome, close to everything I wanted to see. The breakfast was well priced and the food ample, with a good variety. The room was small but comfortable for one person. It would have been nice to have a coffee machine or hot water boiler in the room to make a cup of coffee or tea. When I arrived assigned room was not cleaned, so very helpful staff moved me to one across the hall which was even quieter, then even comped me a breakfast which was very nice! Staff were friendly and professional!

The breakfast and the location were great. I was there for a concert and it was easy to walk there. Staff were also super helpful. They immediately knew where I was going and were prepared with maps. Next day I visited the amazing Zwinger which were only five minutes walk from there.

It was very pricey but I know it was because of the concert. Also a bit clinical. It's always a bit weird when the shower cabin is in the room, next to your bed. My room was facing the street, which was anything but quiet. Trams, fire works and drunk people shouting.

Close to the main sightseeing highlights and to the tram stops allowing to quickly reach even more of them. Good sound isolation: despite the windows of my room looking directly at the street with the trams, I've heard no sounds from it (room in the 4th floor). Also, lovely and helpful staff. Pleasant room design. Also the hotel is in the big shopping mall (technically, one building, different entrances) and you can easily buy what you need not going far (clothes, umbrella, food, books, gifts - pick up what you want!)

The light in the WC 'room' is going on automatically when one enters it. Not very good at night. I'd rather be using a small light near my bed etc to make sure I don't step on the luggage bag or so than having the light in WC 'room' blinding me at 2 am. Huge crowds at the breakfast hall at the breakfast time. Avoided that all my stay preferring to have my breakfast from the fruits I've bought in the food shop nearby.

The location is amazing, at the center core of Altstadt. Perfect transport connection and lots of interest points by walking distance. Really good breakfast and the staff is incredibly agile.

The bath area (shower and sink) are not separated from the bedroom, only the toilet is. It feels weird. And the room could have at least small tables/shelves, there was none and all our belongings were laying on the floor.

Location of the hotel is great, almost everything is within walking distance. Staff is really kind and helpful. Room was clean and there is online check in, so basically it is possible to avoid contacts who wants (we didn’t do it). Breakfast was completely ok for the price.

Room is way too small for 3 people, even for the budget hotel. Concept of the room gives 0 privacy when it comes to shower and post shower, its clear they weren’t planned for 3 people but rather improvised.

The hotel is conveniently located at Postplatz which is close to several tram lines and is a 5-minute walk to the Old City. Also located in the Altmarket Mall so everything was right there! The hotel is spotless and the staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. I found the breakfast choices to be adequate. Mainly cold meats and lovely sliced cheeses and also some veggies like cucumber and tomato. Yoghurt, breads, all sorts of coffees and tea, milk, juice etc. Everything you really could want. The only negative was the fruit. I would have liked some fresh cut fruit. My room had an additional single bunk bed that transverses the head of the double bed. I used this bed to store my folded clothes because there is only a small space for hanging clothes but no cupboard. The mattress was firm and comfortable. My room was a bit noisy because I chose a street view. Last time I stayed in this hotel the room was very quiet with a courtyard view.

While I understand that this is a budget hotel, I would have loved to have a mini refrigerator.

Location is 5 star, literally on the heart of Dresden city, perfect for Christmas market tour. Hygiene and cleaning of the rooms was very good. Checkin/checkout very easy.

The price of the breakfast: cost 13.50 euro, but was very simple. In the city you can go for amazing coffee and breakfast for cheaper and better quality and lower price.
