Ibis Budget Hotel Dresden is a great choice for travelers seeking convenience and comfort. The location is excellent — just a few minutes’ walk to the historical center, museums, and the main train station. The room is small but well-equipped, stylishly decorated, and perfect for one or two people. Access is easy with a room code. Nearby, you’ll find a shopping mall, supermarkets, modern restaurants, and tram and bus stops, making getting around the city effortless.

the rooms can be a bit noisy due to thin walls and neighboring guests, which may disturb light sleepers. Additionally, reaching the reception requires taking an elevator when entering the building, which can be somewhat inconvenient.

Only reason for not high score for staff is that like many hotels now there of often very little contact other than check in. Room very modern design with stylish built in shower and touch operatrd light switches and automatic toilet light. Room decoration clean and bright with large panorama window down to floor level giving an excellent view ono the street. Excellent location within 10 mins walk of the Altstadt. Frequent tram service right outside the hotel and round the corner giving quick access to the Central Station and across the river to the Neustadt. Typically good German style buffet breakfast set up. Row of restaurants across the road including the excellent Shamrock Irish Pub.

No dislikes. This is as close to the perfect hotel for my needs as I have ever come across. Well done Ibis !

The breakfast is really good considering the value. Eggs, bacons, different cheese and hams. Also oatmeal options too. The room was quiet. The water temperature and pressure was nice. Bed was comfy and clean. Check-in, leaving the luggage and checkout were really easy. Staff was helpful. Location is really central. 6-7 minutes by walking to the city center, Frauenkirche.

There was mold (small. Maybe 8-10 black dots at the edge of bathroom area). If you turn the water on, an unpleasant smell was coming from the pipes initially.

The hotel is located above a shopping center which was not bad. The breakfast was really nice and had everything that we wanted. The city center was a 5 minute walk from the hotel and we could sight see and take a nice casual walk around the city. There were plenty of restaraunts in the area to choose from.

The shower was located in the room. By in the room I mean literally it was next to the beds and it was glass with a bit of frosted glass. Since I was travelling with my Granddaughter, when I showered she waited in the hallway and when she showered, I had to leave the room. If you are travelling alone this would not be a problem.

Great location (safety, access facility, central position) pleasant & efficient staff, quiet clean room, no need to carry heavy room keys or card key to lose, bright lighting interior & practical check in & out arrangenent,

Room cld be a bit compact for physically big guests.. there could be a bit more hooks on the wall to hung dresses, or a shelf etc as there is no space for closet. When one stays alone, a guest can use half of the bed to put clothes, but, otherwise it looks a but messy yo spread things on the bed, and especially if 2 or more pp are sharing the room. Highly recommend the installation of some bar on the wall so that dresses, belts, bags, skarves etc can be hanged (?) But these are a minor point for future improvement!

The hotel is in the city centre, in a big shopping centre. The hotel is a simple accommodation, no luxury. The hotel can only be reached by elevator. The room was simple , the shower and the sink was in the room, only the toilet was separately. The room was not too big, but enough for two people. The room was too far from the reception, therefore we had to walk long.

Non-luxury accommodation mainly for young people. Hairdryers can only be rented for a deposit. The sink was very small.

The location was awesome, close to everything I wanted to see. The breakfast was well priced and the food ample, with a good variety. The room was small but comfortable for one person. It would have been nice to have a coffee machine or hot water boiler in the room to make a cup of coffee or tea. When I arrived assigned room was not cleaned, so very helpful staff moved me to one across the hall which was even quieter, then even comped me a breakfast which was very nice! Staff were friendly and professional!

The room was very small, but functional. In general the bathroom facilities very small, no storage for tolietries. Bed was comfortable. The vending machines in the Reception area good for late night drink or snack.

The size of the room, lack of power points, lack of hanging space and storage.

The breakfast and the location were great. I was there for a concert and it was easy to walk there. Staff were also super helpful. They immediately knew where I was going and were prepared with maps. Next day I visited the amazing Zwinger which were only five minutes walk from there.

It was very pricey but I know it was because of the concert. Also a bit clinical. It's always a bit weird when the shower cabin is in the room, next to your bed. My room was facing the street, which was anything but quiet. Trams, fire works and drunk people shouting.

I was impressed by how friendly and professional the staff was. Even when they were very busy, I felt that they worked through everyone efficiently and thoroughly.

I was initially a little confused about the difference between the reception elevator and the regular room-access elevators. Not a big deal, the only thing I would recommend is perhaps a slightly bigger sign. This it nit-picking though.
