Room was large for a European city hotel and had a convenient mini fridge. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. 12.00 checkout time is also a plus. Overall a good stay and a great location since the Hbf connects to every S/U-bahn line.

Pillows could have been more comfortable, and there wasn't much in terms of a lobby. No hotel bar and the breakfast was overpriced. Went to a nearby cafe for less money than the breakfast would have cost.

The room was nice and clean. It had everything I needed. I could also ask for an Iron at reception, which was handy. The roof terrace has a beautiful view over Hamburg. The location of the Hotel is excellent. Any shop that you can think of is right around the corner. Going for a stroll next to the Elbe is close by and there is the main train station across the street and the U-Bahn in front of the door.

It is slightly dark in the room if the curtains are closed. There is no light in the main room except the bedside lights. The showerhead kept sliding downwards while I was showering, but it didn't bother me too much. I would have liked a gym in the hotel.

As with every InterCity hotel I've stayed in, it's conveniently located right by Hamburg's main station, and provides unfussy, basic accommodation to a high standard. No frills, but nothing wrong either. We just stayed a single night en route somewhere else but would be happy to base ourselves here for longer. We had breakfast included in our rate, and that was great too - not as lavish as in a higher-rated hotel but plenty of choice.

Honestly can't think of anything wrong.

It was possible to park underground. There are only few places and only one level. It is not possible to reserve the lot. It is not for free. You pay to the hotel reception before leaving with the car. The hotel is very close to the metro station Hauptbahnhof Nord. Hamburg Hauptbahnhof, The Hamburg Central Station not far away. Kunsthalle Museum is just opposite the hotel.

There are only few parking lots underground.

Very clean, comfortable. Good location just across road from train station. Walking distance to old city and other sights. Nice roof top terrace to take drinks up to. Good view.

Don’t usually comment on pillows but were particularly bad but house maid was very obliging to give us a couple more which helped. Couldn’t get the a/c to work but probably just us. Noisy on main road but we also expected this.

The location is perfect for public transportation. Just opposite to Centre Station, few steps to the Ubahn station. Many restaurants, coffees around, walking street so. The room is great condition even I expect cityview. The breakfast is delicious. Even I wish they have more choice for fruits and food. They let me check in early. And get free Hvv ticket :)

They must have a better choice of sleeping lamp :)

Perfectly located for train travellers, with only a 3 min walk to the Hamburg Central Station. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with friendly and helpful staff and a good breakfast.

If you want to visit central Hamburg it's a bit of a walk. Also, the hotel architecture and interior is in the "large box optimized to fit as many guests as possible" style. A very comfortable and scrupulously clean box, but still a box.

Excellent location near main station, old town and the Binnenalster. We were able to walk everywhere to see the sights during our stay. Comfortable room with 2 chairs, and cupboards to store bags and clothes out of the way. Very quiet, even though on the main road. Very good buffet breakfast.

Lighting was subdued, would have preferred stronger light for reading. Shower door leaked. Air-conditioning was OK

1. The room key cards worked effortlessly and smoothly. A reassuring big powerful bright light came on immediately to let me enter my room. No anxious moments moving the key card around, hoping for a light to come on, as I have experienced in other hotels. 2. After a shower, you simply push the shower door out, away from you, making for an easy exit. In other hotels the shower door has to be pushed inwards, thus often squashing you. 3. Location: diagonal from the Hauptbahnhof: EXCELLENT! Being close to the Hbf means that I was close to the departure of the Hop on, Hop off bus and to trains and S-Bahn 1 to the airport. 4. The breakfast room was lovely! Wonderful choice of food and beverages. And there were newspapers on hand to read.

I didn't especially care for the flat, rectangular bathroom sink, as traditional, deeper sinks work better, but not a big deal.

Excellent location, minutes from the station. Very clean room. Didn’t the breakfast.

Room smelled a bit when we got in ; soon disappeared when we opened the window. Feather pillows weren’t comfortable-no support in the middle of the night. Being very British we would have liked a kettle; couldn’t get a hot drink in the hotel.
