Rooms were big and nice selection of coffees. Plenty of toiletries were provided. Beds were comfy and overall was a lovely room. Wasn't obvious to begin with, but free water was a nice touch too. Decor was great and loved the theme of the hotel. Staff were great and happy to help.

Housekeeping was a bit irregular. Couple of days we were left with dirty glasses / cups in the room. Also missed replacing used coffee pods one day. All issues were quickly resolved, but we expected a bit more. Breakfast seemed a little expensive and we really missed a pool / spa which is under renovation.

A Historical building, a lobby bar, big room, extremely comfortable bed and pillows, comfortable bathroom, good towels, quiet and extremely good night sleep, clearn, possibility to open a window in a room. Free bottle of drinking water every day, coffee machine with capsules in a room.

Nothing that let you feel that you are in a 5 star hotel: no welcome drink, no complimentary gifts, no clearning room before a night, no small gifts for good night. All staff absolutely formal, no real kindness or hospitality. Despite of that very expensive. 20 min by foot to major attractions. But the bigest dissapointment was a breakfast. It has a lot of choises but all food was tasteless and of low quality ( the cheap LIDL products) . It was real surprise for me in a 5 star hotel! No tea kettle in a room.

This is a stunning, historic hotel in a wonderful location. It is a short walk from the central train station and fronts on the Alstersee- a gorgeous lake. It is also very walkable to City Center and there are many great restaurant/shopping options in every direction. Interior was superbly decorated, rooms were very comfortable, clean, well kept and laid out, and included every amenity from robes and slippers to a yoga mat and bathroom scale, ....

except it was startlingly difficult to get a cup of tea even with my own tea bags. The in room nespresso machine defied all efforts to heat plain water and room service pot of tea was 16 euro once service fee added. Had to go downstairs where the staff was happy to oblige but had to find someone, bother them, and then tote a hot pot back upstairs. Other minor nitpicks- rain shower only option (I think these are overated), no place to prop a foot in shower to shave legs, the food prices were astronomical (though the food was excellent), and there were no chocolate desserts on any menu.

The hotel was gorgeous and centrally located. The staff was fantastic, and the food was amazing. It was hands down the best breakfast buffet I've ever had. The pool and exercise facilities were great. The room was beautiful. I had a spa treatment that was great.

The bed and pillows weren't very comfortable, and it was incredibly hot and humid. We turned on the air conditioning, but it didn't work very well. This was compounded by the fact that they didn't have individual duvets or a top sheet. We ended up sleeping with the window open, which cooled the room down a bit. But the humidity and bedding got us in the end. It was two of the worst nights of sleep I've had in a while.

Hotel Atlantic Hamburg is a piece of history that offers an unforgettable experience. The rooms are spacious, and the lobby is absolutely stunning, exuding elegance and charm. We especially enjoyed the cocktails—truly exceptional. Unfortunately, we made the mistake of skipping the hamburger in the lobby and went out for dinner instead. In hindsight, staying in would have been a much better idea, allowing us to fully enjoy the hotel's atmosphere and relax in the beautiful bathroom. The breakfast selection was fantastic, with the egg Florentine and bread being highlights on the menu. A perfect place to unwind and indulge!

A wonderful hotel in a great location on the river Alster, only minutes from the train station and for us in walking distance to all attractions. St George district is just around the corner with nice Cafes and Restaurants. Our room facing the courtyard was very comfortable, comfortable bed and seating and a very nice shower. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed a great room service breakfast that had everything on.

Everything was perfect in our stay at the Atlantic. The care with our important dates was amazing with amenities and true demonstration of care for my birthday and our anniversary. The Concierge went above and beyond to help me with perfect flowers perfectly arranged at breakfast for our anniversary and to surprise my wife, but the entire hotel staff joined in the process of making our day amazing. On top of impeccable cleaning, great room, food this stay was really good. My son and wife ordered from room service every night, very late, and their food was always great and the kindness of the lady serving them was amazing.

I think the not so perfect experience was at the bar. I have gin and tonic everywhere and tried it in many ways but here it came is a simple glass with really huge chunks of cucumber. It was simply not nicely prepared. But again, everything else being perfect, this was a minor issue.

Prime location close to the Alster Lake and at 5 minute walk to the town center. The building encompasses a lot of historical charm. The spa is excellent. The front desk staff are amazing, and the concierge service is top notch.

Poor daily cleaning, no turn down service, mini bar didn’t get refilled once during our 4 day stay. It’s a shame cause these details or rather the lack of them takes away from an otherwise excellent experience.

Fantastic location, spacious rooms, well maintained building and facilities, very helpful front desk staff, delicious breakfast (don’t miss the eggs royal), all in all a fantastic stay!

Atlantic Hamburg Autograph hotel was a first class luxury. A beautiful hotel, friendly staff, fantastic location. I can't praised it enough. I will definitely recommend it. I will stay longer on my next visit. I stayed for two nights from 4th to 6th of August 2025 Khanna

Breakfast buffet was expensive €44 per person. As there were 5 of us, it wasn't possible to have breakfast in the hotel.
