A comfortable hotel near the center of Hamburg in a quiet location with very friendly and very helpful staff. The room had all mod cons including a mini fridge and an in-room safe which is a bonus.

The breakfast was nice with a substantial selection of fresh food though maybe a little bit overpriced.

The hotel is less than 10 minutes walk from the busy central station but is located on a quiet street near Lake Aster. There are plenty of good local cafes, bars, restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Our room and bed were very comfortable and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

We had breakfast one morning and it was good but a bit expensive. With so many cafes nearby we liked to try other options

The staff is just the best I’ve seen over the last years! Friendly, enthusiastic, helpful The location is outside of the busy city centre to me that’s just a big plus! Near the Alster lake. At night you can stay in and enjoy a nice snack and Amazing wines

The room looked out over the pleasant garden. There was a reasonable amount of storage space. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a quiet street but is very near a lively street with a range of cafés, bars and restaurants. It is less than 10 minutes walk from the main station and there are bus stops nearby.

This is a small thing, I know. There was a little kettle, two coffee bags and three fruit tea bags in the room when we arrived. We used the coffee bags immediately (we were never going to use the fruit tea) and expected them to be replaced, but they weren’t until we asked for replacements. The next day we asked if the coffee could be replaced again and we were assured that it would be, but it wasn’t. We gave up after that. It seemed odd to us that the hotel would go to the expense of supplying a kettle, cups etc and then ration the coffee in this way. The selection of teas was odd, too. A couple of regular tea bags or at least some mint tea would have been welcome.

The location is excellent. It is close enough to the train station, but located in a very nice neighborhood and just a few minutes away from Lange Reihe, a street with many restaurants, cafes, and shops. In the other direction, it is just a few minutes from the Alster, which offers great opportunities for recreation. In addition, the breakfast is very good and the staff wonderful.

The stairs up to the bathroom were a problem in the middle of the night. The room was a decent size, but it was not easy for luggage. All the stairs, period,are a problem with luggage.

Everything was great. We stayed in the mainhouse and the decoration, the layout of the room, the bath - everything was there to please the eye, esthetic and with a sleek scandi style. Beds super, extra shutters, lots of nice lights sources AND the pillows were very comfortable - and I could go on. Oh, the garden behind….the library 🙂…… The staff was excellent, friendly and forthcoming !

Wedina hotel felt like a welcoming home by its small scale, beautiful appointments and personal attention of staff. The furniture, library, sunroom and garden all offered a comfortable place to relax. My single garden view room was more like a studio apartment, spacious & stylish design, with seating area flooded with light and fresh air overlooking the garden. The breakfast selection each morning was varied fresh delicious and constantly topped up, cocktails snacks and light meals also available to enjoy in garden, dining room or take to room. Travelling solo I was so happy to find this hotel, it felt like home

Fantastic location with a beautiful garden to relax in, staff was very nice and kind and breakfast was delicious. The hotel is tastefully decorated.

Our room was a bit small and dark.

Over looking trees and gardens, our room was amazingly quiet and peaceful for somewhere so central. Well connected - just a short walk from the main railway station, subway and local restaurants. My family loved the split level room - though lots of stairs to climb! Great characterful modern design, using a mixture of warm natural materials and exposed concrete. A distinctive hotel - we enjoyed our stay and still talk about it now.

Cute little boutique hotel by the Alster with a stunning garden and a nice breakfast selection. Location is a little far from the city center but we knew this going into it and preferred being in a quieter part of town. There were lots of nearby restaurants and cafes too which was nice. The room was really simple but had most of everything we needed. We reserved parking for the night and the staff so kindly allowed us to keep our car there well after our checkout.

We couldn’t control the temperature in the room for some reason. It was a hot day and we had to open a window to prevent from sweating through the night.
