Better than expected for this price and better than some other Ibis hotels I have used. It is quiet, close to the station and excellent for a one-night stoppover on the way to final destination. Also good as a base for short local rail trips in southern Germany. Breakfast was good (adequate) they provide trays and hot food as well as buns, etc.

I can't think of anything to criticise, given the reasonable price charged. An evening meal would be a useful addition.

Great value for a hotel conveniently located near the Hbf. While Ibis rooms have a unique layout that takes some getting used to, this has been my go to hotel in Karlsruhe for easy travel via rail. The Hbf is very close, and local transit is just across from the front entrance. In spite of the location do close to these railway travel options, it is very quiet.

Outlets only on one side of the room - I had to use an power extension cord for my CPAP.

This is not a regular Ibis. A much older hotel building has been spruced up with the Ibis decorative standard, so you get the best of both worlds - bigger rooms with the usual Ibis modular shower/toilet added in.

Evening food options within the hotel are limited, but that's OK: plenty of bars and imbiss places inside the nearby hauptbahnhof

Room although at platform level and overlooking the station was very quiet. Breakfast area was chilled and nice and relaxed with the option of outside seating

Option of secure parking. Our motorcycles felt a bit exposed. However no problems encountered

We have stayed before at the Ibis - it is the location which is great as we can catch a tram to our daughter's flat from outside the front door! And we can get to the station so easily from where we have taken many trips thanks to the local ticket offer. We did not need to use any restaurant facilities at the hotel.

Nothing to complain about!

I like the location and the staff.

The room only had two electrical outlets and neither outlet was near the bed. The breakfast was quite expensive at 17 Euros. There is no refrigerator or hot pot to make coffee in the room.

For me the location was excellent being near by the hauptbahnhof, the friendly environment especially front office ( reception team) and cosy room.

Very close to central train station, close to CBD, good Public Transport, bar with drinks and snacks.

Its location is perfect. Just next to the city main station. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was good.

There was a dirty towel in the bathroom. The room and the bathroom were a little bit small. Expensive for a 2 star hotel.

The Ibis hotel is conveniently located next to the train station. Buses and trams stop directly in front of the hotel and are a cheap way of getting around the city.

There were no negatives.
