The hotel is in the prime location. Tram station, Bus stop to Karlsruhe station are very near. 2 mnts walking distance. Bus number 10 will get you to karlsruhe main station within 10mnts. Marktplatz is 10 mnts walking from the hotel. A lot of cafes nearby, & edekka& Scheckin within 3mnts walking distance. The price I paid is very reasonable compared to other hotels nearby. Very nice bathtub, big wardrobe with iron box is a plus point for this hotel

It would be better if you provide Electric kettle

The hotel's location is excellent, just about 10 minutes from the city center. The hotel is simple but comfortable and very clean. The breakfast is plentiful and tasty. Most of the staff speaks good English. The beds are very comfortable, and the heating is excellent.

The trams that run late into the night and very early in the morning slightly disturb the peace. The room lacks additional amenities, such as a kettle for coffee or tea, and only one bottle of water was in the fridge. These details would greatly contribute to the overall comfort of the stay

Large, bright, clean and spacious fully-functioning Hotel, easy to find, easy to park, helpful and accommodating staff with all the amenities and facilities one would expect from a much more expensive Hotel, including lobby bar, lifts and restaurant. Excellent value for money too.

There's nothing to 'not-like'! After several disruptive prior booking experiences at more expensive self-check-in locations, what a joy it was to walk into a proper Hotel with friendly and engaging staff who spoke multiple languages.

Our room was spacious and clean and had air conditioning which was most welcome as we arrived on possibly the hottest day of the year! Breakfast was excellent - so much choice and really set us up for the day.

Our room didn’t get made up/cleaned in between our first and second nights. This wasn’t essential but it would have been good to have the bins emptied and certain things replenished, e.g. the tissues - there were only 3 left in the box in our bathroom, so they ran out very quickly! Would also have liked fresh glasses and cups in our room after we used them the first night.

It is only 4 tram stops from the Hauptbahnhof and it was 2-3 stops to all venues I need to be during my stay there. The breakfast is truly great. The price is more than cool for high season and 4 star hotel. The bathroom facilities, the cleanliness and the whole room was really good.

There was no any support for providing for instance one hour before check in. NO SIR, the CHECK IN TIME IS 15:00. Even in Four Seasons or other 5 star hotels the reception knows how to make things possible and tell for instance: DURING THESE 2 HOURS IT WILL BE CLEANED AND YOU WILL RELAX IN YOUR ROOM.

The ACHAT Hotel is nice, the rooms are clean, the service is friendly and the breakfast is OK.

There are some management issues that definitely need attention. 1. It is very difficult to get hot water. There are no kettles in the rooms and you can't rent one. You have to find someone to boil water for you, which is not always possible or plausible. It is also very inconvenient. 2. By default, no one will clean your room, including changing towels and providing extra toilet paper. You have to go to the reception in person and ask for cleaning (there are no door hangers for cleaning), which is also inconvenient if you are used to a different standard in **** hotels.

The room was great, very clean, quiet and cozy. It was very nice that we had a coffee machine and capsules in the room, as well as an iron and an ironing board. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We parked the car on a street close to the hotel and it wasn't an issue. The location is fantastic because the hotel is very close to the touristic area and still very quiet.

It has air conditioning in Karlsruhe in August! That was the biggest plus. Coming inside was like being able to breathe again. They had thoughtfully placed mint/lemon/lime water next to the entrance. We felt very comfortable. Staff were extremely pleasant. Location is great. Our room was at the back of the hotel, very quiet even at night with the A/C off and the window open. The room was a decent size. Our young child’s extra bed was comfortable and the room still didn’t feel cramped. Our beds were also a decent size and very comfortable.

The room felt SLIGHTLY dated. I mean, everything worked and everything was cleaned daily, but I think they probably want to update the carpet eventually (we found a small sticky patch, maybe it couldn’t be cleaned). And the grout between some of the tiles in the shower was starting to turn black. But really, these are very minor complaints. On the whole the hotel felt very clean and extremely comfortable.

It was very convenient to the metro as well as the bus line. The metro closest to the hotel is under construction however(May 2025) so just be aware of that but of course has nothing to do with the property. I did not indulge in the “breakfast available.” I thought the price was a bit high, but I don’t know what that included either.

The bed was quite soft. (Twin bed).

Why we love 4-star hotels? Because staff is professional and breakfasts are always amazing. Achat hotel is in great location. Tram no.3 will take you from main trainstation to the hotel's doorstep. It is also close to the city centre and 300m from best bars in town. Staff is superfriendly, professional and thoughtful. Breakfast is breathtaking! Heated plates, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, smoked salmon, God knows how many different cornflakes, jams, vegetables and fruits. Various freshly pressed juices, great cappucino, varieties of bread, pancakes and pastries. Staff is always making sure that there is plenty od everything all the time. Dining room is nice and cosy, with plenty of natural light which comes through panoramic windows. From 1-10 we give 20 points for breakfast experience.

We were aware that this hotel is not the newest in town, therefore we were not surprised since furniture had some marks of time, but overall furniture is well build, beds are comfortable, room is spacious and clean (we were not bothered about some old stains on the carpet though). There is some noise from the street comming in the room, but it did not prevent from sleeping well. Beds were super comfortable.
