Very nice room and bathroom. Hotel staff was very friendly. The room had a cute inside "balcony" with a table and chairs. The stairs were a bit steep, have to go carefully. You can buy a breakfast at the hotel.

Nothing to complain, really. Some things could have been better (location, possibility to prepare food) but they are just a personal preference and not faults of the hotel. All in all we were very satisfied.

There is a coin-operated coffee machine in the hall, which also makes hot chocolate. There is ample free parking space at the property. There is a second level in the room with a table and a couple of chairs, which is not very useful (and the staircase is quite steep), but it's fun to have. It may be warmer up there in the winter months.

We got unlucky and had to wait for a long time in the check-in queue. The single clerk was occupied by one man, and the rest of us had to wait in line. If you travel by car, the location is fine, otherwise there's not much to do in the area. There was some music outside, but fortunately it ceased before or about 22:00. There was neither a fridge nor a kettle in the room.

Our room was very spacious with high ceiling and a small loft-type area upstairs. Easy to arrive by car. Parking is 4 EUR/day though. Helpful staff. Decent breakfast option for 12 EUR. After asking our 4 year-old was offered a free meal. Nice green and quiet area (but it is remote from city center).

We have arrived on late Sunday afternoon and options for dinner were very limited in the area. There is no restaurant in the hotel but only a cafeteria type place for breakfast. There was no kettle in the room to make some tea and prepare a quick meal for our kid. In the end we got some boiling water in the reception but it was a bit of a hassle to arrange. Rather cold floor with no carpeting.

Overall, it is a great hotel. Clean, warm strong water, nice bed and pillow. Big hotel lobby, good outdoor parking.

The room smelled cigarettes at first then you get used to it. I can't understand why some people still smoked inside the room when it's a non smoking facility.

This is a conference or training facility from the 1980s: it feels a bit like a university. They still use it as a training centre so you may encounter people taking seminars etc. Breakfast is optional in the refectory and consists of an ample buffet. It's good value for money. The room had a mezzanine sitting area, which was a bit odd since you'd have to climb up a steep set of stairs to get there and down again. View was onto an inner courtyard. it was very quiet. Corridors (if you are mobility impaired) are enormously generous.

The location is reachable by bus (which runs every 10-20 minutes or so) and you are on an industrial estate opposite a residential area. Nothing to do at night there so you either take the bus back into Kiel or watch telly. Your day needs a bit of planning if you are a tourist since you can't easily pop back to your room.

A bit far from the city centre but in a convenient location and easy to reach by public transport. Surrounding is cum and quiet. People in reception is very friendly. Rooms are not completely soundproof.

The room was beautiful and clean. Staff was super friendly. Hotel was quiet in a beautiful location in the middle of the forest with a bus stop 5 minutes away directly to the HBF.

Our two rooms were spacious with large window. Parking is next to the hotel and there is also space for bigger cars.

Air on the corridors was rather hot so we were afraid that the same is in the rooms but fortunately room windows have outside shades.

The room is large and full of light. Basically there is a forest behind the window.

Quite far away from city center. No kettle in the room
