The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in a superior room and that was really nice since we have a toddler. The pool was refreshing. We enjoyed our swim. The hotel was conveniently located in front of the tram stop and a short walk from Köln Messe/Deutz main station. It was easy to get to and from the city.

The restaurant/bar is expensive and charges typical hotel prices for food and drinks. More variety of appetizer options would have been nice.

Very friendly and nice reception. There is a nice lady who unfortunately I don’t know her name and she upgraded our standard rooms for free when we arrived. The room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. There are coffee machine, electric kettle, coffee, tea. sugar and fridge in the room. There is a bathtub which I found perfect and relaxing. The room is clean and equipped. I stayed only one day but I will go there for sure whenever I want to go to Köln. We also used the swimming pool which is small and a bit cold but still nice. The location is close to Köln Messe and for us was perfect as we were there for a concert and it was really close to our destination.

It would be great if the swimming pool is warm. My friend asked for cutlery in her room and the person who brought them asked for 8EUR service. For a fork and a knife. This part was disappointing but everything else great.

The room was really nice and clean. It is just in front of the stop of tram 14 and opposte side of Koeln Messe. 7 min walking from Lanxess Arena and 6min walking from Messe train station. So location is perfect to go to events in those places. Staff is really kind and helpful

I had to pay 6€ to be able to use swimming pool and go to the reception only to activate the card. This was disturbing. I was already in bikini. By the way swimming pool is really small and sauna is only naked. Breakfast had a bit of everything but as I do not eat meat I would add smoked salmon and put different spoons to take the warm food ( same cutlery to take bacon or vegetables). There were a lot of midges at the sweets and bread corner, hotel was really clean I cannot understand their presence.

Very pleasant staff, cleanliness was a very high standard, great location, and very good breakfast choice (unfortunately we didnt get round to using the spa or restaurant, which is a shame as they also looked excellent)

Mattress was a little hard for my personal likeing and i found i was waking up with a bad back, and the covers were comfy, but noisy and sounded like crinkly paper in the night. This is my personal preference. I must add the pillows were comfy and the bed linen was also immaculate.

Information about Spa area availability was not mentioned in reservation and we did know about it before arrival and it was not even mentioned in booking.com. We found it only once we asked about it at reception and 6€ extra for room and but unfortunately not all my friends were able use it because of not having swimming suits. Also not providing the Disposable hotel slippers. And was not informed beforehand.

I took part in an event at the Laxness Arena, and i looked for a Hotel thats near and has rooms with bathtub! The Hotel offered not just bathtub but pool and spa area as well for only 6€! The quality and cleanness was amazing and they dont tell you but you can park near only 5€ / day. With e-scooters the city centre is only 10 mins. Even if you dont want to go that far you can find good restaurants near the Hotel. Trolley is near as well.

There are lot of free space to park yet it was not allowed and they charge 20€ a day if you go down the garage.

Big but quiet hotel. Just around Lanxess arena - ideal location. Parking available on spot, very decent rooms, fully equipped. Good bedding, sound proof rooms, nice bar, restaurant & spa. Super friendly and helpful staff. Would definately return!

breakfast was a bit pricy (29€) and a lot of options were not available any longer as we arrived 1h before them closing. feeshly squeezed juices or viennoiseries would have been nice!

It had everything, a great location, a nice room, amenities, a pool (with sauna and spa), etc.

Everything was nice except the fact that I called in advance to ensure my two hotel rooms were next to each other (as we were traveling with the family, 2 adults and 3 children) yet upon arrival the couldn’t place us in the vicinity of each other. Our hotel rooms were therefore across the hotel from one another. Not super handy when traveling with kids 🤦🏽

Handy location - Köln Messe station 5-10 minutes walk and tram stop directly outside. It's not city centre and really located to serve the needs of those attending various business conferences. However, it's value for money compared to hotels around the city centre on the opposite side of the river was a big plus. Check-in was good, we were allowed to check in at midday well before the advertised time. Lobby, lift area area and corridor to room all very pleasant. Room itself was clean, comfortable and bathroom extremely good. Tea / coffee facilities. Very comfortable bed. WiFi worked well. Breakfast was exceptionally good - extensive range of cold and hot food exceeding the standard at many chain hotels.

Bit of a queue in the morning to check out as it was busy with conference goers. Receptionist was showing signs of stress as on his own. Card transactions have the option of paying in local currency or the card's (GBP in this case). Receptionist selected GBP without my concent so had to get him to void the transaction and put through again in EUR.

A bit far away from restaurants etc When we arrived the rooms were not ready yet (we arrived at 4pm), and we were told they would not know when they would be ready. I asked whether we could get a call when the rooms are ready but this was not possible either
