Charge a guarantee for the full amount of the stay and then charged payment for the room on checkout. We are now waiting for the bank to release the original guarantee. Why should the customer have their funds reduced. Just charge once.

A very well designed and managed luxury hotel, in the very center of the city, in a historical building. Excellent service, nice rooms, good breakfast. Valet parking service very smooth.

The hotel does not have its own charging stations for electric vehicles and could not charge my car during the first night. This equipment should be a standard in any hotel of this class. Using the laundry services requires guests to have the items ready by 8 AM, which is earlier than usual in such cases, and the return of it items is only promised for the following day 10 AM. A five star hotel should offer same day service, also on weekends and public holidays.

The staff is really helpful, available and friendly. We asked the receptionist for a vegetarian restaurant and she provided several options and we followed one of the choices which was really good. The room is very clean. The bathroom has both a shower and a bathtub plus a separate toilet. The desk and chairs in the room are nice. You also have the environmental option to reuse your towels and the choice is respected. The bed has a plastic sound when you move around as other reviewers have pointed out but I must say that we slept very well. The bed are really comfy and this is something that I value a lot. The breakfast is standard except for the breakfast menu. From this breakfast menu we ordered an omelet and a Japanese gyoza both mornings and they were superb. The hotel bar is really good for a night cap and in a relaxed atmosphere. It has good choice of cocktails and gins plus light eats.

I would like to have more English options for the TV and also an option for using your own devices on the TV. I appreciate the English news channels.

Nice and clean, good size rooms. Lovely wee balcony. Shower was good and the bathroom had two sinks which was great. Lovely staff and a great location.

The bed was super hard and gave be a sore back. The aircon was temperamental. Worked great when it worked but sometimes wouldn’t come on. No iron in the room as listed on the facilities. Very noisy area due to festivals and every morning woken by a guy playing bagpipes.

There is not a lobby in it's classical meaning where you can sit waiting for the keys or to meet a friend. There is a bar and a sort of a brasserie instead and all the tables had a menu on them, consequently we refrained from sitting there. Apparently that was the lobby as explained by the receptionist when we were checking out. Needs to be clarified during check-in or re-designed appropriate for the purpose.

The room was very nice and had plenty of wardrobe space. The bathroom was lovely and the shower was excellent. All the staff were very pleasant and polite.

There's no full length mirror in the room - that seems like quite an oversight, particularly in a hotel of this quality and price. The shower is brilliant but the floor in it would have benefitted from more of a slope, as the water does come out under the shower door and goes over the bathroom floor.

Comfortable and well designed room. Pleasant low lighting. Nice bar. When I arrived, and I realize my room faced the square I asked for a different room and they gave me a quieter room.

The restaurant is closed three days a week. there's actually hot food available in the bar area, but on the website it says it only has bar snacks so I made plans to have dinner elsewhere. The spa was closed.

Cleanliness and comfort

The cost of breakfast was extravagant. 40 euros per person was very unreasonable. We only ate there once because we were not aware of the cost of breakfast. The next day we ate at a very nice place across the street for less than one third the cost. They need to lower their prices.

The staffs responsible for breakfast had knows that I am vegan and offered me additional vegan options. It was a very positive approach! We had fresh bottled water, every day. Espresso was great in the room. Good gym Excellent location. Very good lobby bar.

No swimming pool I think that I paid taxes twice I would be great if some drinks from minibar are free of charge.

Very comfortable, slightly old-fashioned hotel but very well-appointed facilities. Excellent room service.

I received an e-mail a few days before the visit offering me an e-upgrade for a fee. But when I arrived, there was no upgrade and the reception staff didn't even seem to know about the scheme.
