The hotel has a wonderful, pleasant staff, we were treated politely and friendly. Very quiet place by the river, in winter peace and quiet. There is no new renovation, so expect a simple, neat room not overloaded with furniture, with white walls. Good location. You can get there from the airport by train. The hotel is 5 minutes from the station. The Lidl grocery store is across the street. We chose this hotel because it is very close to the Sanssouci Park, which we were going to visit. Potsdam's Brandenburg Gate and the city center are two tram stops away, or you can walk there. When we return to Potsdam, we will definitely stay again if possible.

The Reception team were great - friendly, helpful and fluent in English (thank you). The elevator was quick and always available There is a nice grass area where my dig could run and play after a long drive (need some dig poo bins - I pick up after my dog - but struggled to find a bin) Breakfast was OK - good coffee and nice choice The bed was comfortable The room was spacious The Italian restaurant adjacent to the hotel was OUTSTANDING!! Loved that my dog could stay in the room with me 🐕

Carpet in the bedroom was dirty in places I hate plastic shower curtains 😒 The fact that it was necessary to walk all around the building in the wet and cold to get to the breakfast - there is an indoor corridor- why was that necessary!!??

It was a very warm room. We read some comments that in summer it may get very hot in rooms. But in winter it was perfectly warm. The beds were medium to hard very nice for a good sleep. The covers were a little bit short but it was not a problem for a warm room. Also there is a good restaurant Toscana located just two steps from a back door of the hotel.

The location of the hotel is unbeatable right next to the river. The little beach bar belonging to the hotel was great. The staff made the stay as comfortable as possible.

Unfortunately the Airconditioning was not working, however the staff provided voucher for drinks and free breakfast.

The could be a kettle and a water dispenser at least in the corridor. Also, it was a bit cold

Good location, the design- old building (old army barracks style) and new building together on a seamessly flowing floor, the metalpunk/ old armystyle toilets with VERY GOOD water pressure, and the modern room, all was unexpected in contrast and design. That said, the floor rogues were very used, and probably not so clean.

What I liked is the friendly and helpful crew.also the location and the price.about the rooms, they were ordinary but clean.

No mini bar .no note pad . And the mirror is placed in front of the wash room door which may lead to improper situations.(I encountered one).

It was a perfect stay, breakfast was delicious., staff was friendly just the rooms were cold although the heater was working. In total it was very good, I will come back :)

Very convenient parking. Next to a wonderful Italian resturant. Went there every night! Older hotel, but clean. Quiet, next to the water.
