There are all the facilities. In general, it is comfortable and quite clean. Good mattress and bedding, soft towels. The self-check in system and codes instead of room keys are convenient, but you need to check in no earlier than the specified time. If there are any misunderstandings during check-in, you can clarify everything by phone. The staff is polite and ready to help.

The self-check-in machine is located at the entrance near the door so that while one person is checking in, the other cannot leave the hotel, or if someone leaves, the check-in must be interrupted. The hotel lacks luggage storage if you have already checked out but are leaving the city later.

This former Ibis Budget is 20 minutes on foot from the old town and bridge, but there is a tram stop outside if you prefer. The hotel has free parking on site on a first come first served basis. The room rate we got for a recently re-branded room and a good breakfast made this a better choice than the city centre for us. There is a good cheap middle eastern restaurant and take away on the way into the city centre. If not there are other restaurants in the centre near the Rathaus.

Staff was very friendly and late arrival/check-in was no problem (no stress coming from far away) . Room was very functional, practical that shower and toilett are separated. Breakfast was really good: wide selection and open from early. On-site parking was comfortable.

Not negative, but noteworthy: you can see on the pictures that there are actually 3 beds in the room, but could only be booked as double room. We were 3 adults and thus needed 2 separate rooms.

Mostly everything here is good, and those things which are not so good are beyond the hotel's control, such as a paucity of local restaurants. For evening meals, I recommend the oriental across the street, 400m walk to the east: good Japanese & Asian fusion (see picture below) or a superb Lebanese to the west, about 600m walk, otherwise arrive after eating elsewhere. Parking is ideal. The hotel is quiet. It's easy to find after a long drive, none of those end-of-day stress problems at all. I recommend this hotel for budget travellers - and those above, just wanting a stress-free end to their day. Great cleaners! The hotel owes its cleaners a lot. The rooms are spotless - picture below. Friendly reception, multilingual. I did not have breakfast here, preferring on the road food.

The breakfast looked a little stark so I avoided it and chose to eat on the road but that's no reason not to stay away. For budget-wary travellers, and for long-day drivers there is little to not like about this hotel. The wifi was initially a problem but you can switch off and on again the router, behind the TV set, and then it works fine.

The room was great, free parking was available and while i did not take any, the breakfast area and offering looked good for a very economical hotel.

When I arrived at 0200 in the morning, I was among several people who had trouble checking in on the automated check in device. Going through a series of iterations on the smartphone I eventually managed to check in and get my room details. But that process was difficult and painful.

Great location (at a traffic intersection but the location is very convenient for public transport, also for going to France). The room itself was quiet, bed was very comfortable, the room had minimal furniture, which I really liked - nice small table, clean modern shower, the room was not full of unnecessary furniture or too many pillows - I like a simple, but comfortable room, which I had here. Last but not least - staff were very friendly.

That I didn’t have time to stay longer at this hotel - I would have liked to have stayed longer.

Bed was very comfortable. Room size was just enough for two people. Location was a 20 minute walk to downtown. Shower water temp and pressure was great. I liked the additional bunk bed which allowed our daughter to stay a while. This was a three night stay but we added a fourth night due to everything going well. Property honored my request for a top floor room not facing a busy road. Property repaired the A/C quickly when I reported an issue.

Breakfast menu was limited and didn't look very fresh but other optons are nearby.

Self check-in computer at the entrance showed an option to pay for parking despite it being listed as free during booking. Thankfully cleaning staff noticed and stopped me as I was selecting it. If parking is free for all guests this should be removed?

The place was really clean, gentleman from reception kind and helpfull, breakfast was simple and correct. A lot of towels, comfortable beds. Nice and quiet place to spend the night and have a good rest. Late checkout, so there is no need to hurry.

The room was very well set out. Unlike some hotels where the washbasin, shower and toilet are all in one room, they were all in separate rooms, so much better. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The carpark cannot contain more than 20 to 30 cars, when the hotel has probably 96 rooms. This means that some people have to park in a side road in an industrial area.
