It was in a perfect location for visiting family in Deep Cove and day trips to the local ski resorts - Mount Seymour and Cypress Mountain. The room was well equipped with coffee machine and fridge and microwave. The bed was huge and very comfortable. We were upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite which was huge. There was free parking onsite.

Our room was opposite a room that was being renovated so it was a little noisy at times but the work was done at a considerate time of day - just not sure why they didn’t find us a room further from the renovation work. It would have been nice to have a hot tub onsite - but we knew when we booked that it was out of action indefinitely. The pool is quite small but good for a quick soak after skiing and the sauna was nice and warm.

I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities offered here. The bed was exceptionally comfortable with excellent support and zero motion transfer. The pillows were perfect and they pillow cases were even labeled with the level of firmness. The room was very clean and spacious. I noticed how quiet the room and building was. I can see the effort that was put into ensuring the noise was at a minimum including have the vending machines for snacks and ice located in an enclosed room. There were two restaurants located on premises, a pub and an Italian restaurant, both were excellent. There was a liquor store on site and a convenience store located across the street so all our needs were met without having to leave the hotel. The pool was so wonderfully warm with lots of natural light and space. The staff were friendly and helpful. We loved our stay here.

The TV entertainment was the only complaint we had. It had a local TV Guide and an option to buy On Demand Movies but they are $25.00 each no matter what movie you wanted to watch, new or old. We have been to hotels before that had the option to sign into our own streaming accounts (Netflix, Paramount+, etc.) and have enjoyed having that option much more than regular cable.

We have stayed at this hotel before and find the room a good size, the bed very comfortable, the shower hot and powerful, and the hotel breakfast very nice.

The person who checked us in took quite a while to sign us in, and also took two separate payments for the 2 rooms I was booking for my family. It was not made clear that the payment would not be returned for one working week, which was more like 10 due to it being over the holidays. The check in process was also a bit of a faff. It should be a quick passport check and the handing over of room keys, but it took a while and I had to sign various things, even though I had already paid for the rooms.

My family appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel (the housekeeping staff was also very friendly!) and the availability of a pool. The lady who checked us in at the front desk was professional, polite and helpful regarding nearby parks to entertain our 4 year old son.

The bed and pillows were not the most comfortable (I felt like I was sleeping on sandbags) and some of the furniture was in need of updating due to wear and tear over the years.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The attached restaurant was very good. Rooms were nice and clean. The parking lot was clean and nicely laid out. The hotel was conveniently located within short distances to some of our activities.

A little pricey and no continental breakfast.

Loved the sauna and using the pool to relax. I appreciate the eco-friendly status here. It was clean and staff were pleasant and clear. For the location, a room facing the street, it was very quiet. I liked the free parking, and appreciated the use of fridge and microwave in the room. The Italian restaurant connected to the hotel was excellent with wonderful, caring service, and tasty food. Staff are working hard to make this an exceptional hotel. Thank you!

View was unappealing of roof, but the curtains solved that problem. We could hear a little noise (TV & chat) from the adjacent bedroom, through the joining door. Also we did not know we needed to turn on the fridge for our food and ice pack. Whoops! Maybe a warning sign might be a good reminder to those who don't "hotel" very often.

The staff members were very kind and understanding especially Hajar! She is very professional. We arrived early and they tried their best to accommodate for that

Unfortunately the pool was under maintenance Also, tried to get coins from the reception for washing but they said they won't accept credit card. I thought it would be easy to charge it to my room.

Perfect, everything exceeded my expectations. Staff was helpful, positive and friendly. It was close to everything I wanted to see. Indoor pool was warm. Sauna, pool, room …….everything was clean. There is a good variety of gym equipment. I really enjoyed my stay there.

The room was clean and comfortable and the staff at reception were very helpful. The location was convenient to public transportation and within walking distance of Capilano University and several parks. The associated restaurant had excellent food at a good price.

Location was well-suited to our needs and had a “small town” feel despite being located in a big city, and being fully booked.

The room was a little squishy for our whole family, but quite adequate for our purposes of it being a “crash pad” amidst busy days out.
