As in previous visits, the overall experience was very good. The three new restaurants are in a very elegantly renovated space, with elegant decoration and fine food. We especially liked the Steakhouse, which also houses the Havana Club, a late night dance venue. As ballroom dancers, we appreciated the live music in the lobby bar on most nights.

The resort plays background music in restaurants and bars. As a Caribbean resort, one would expect latin music, right? Wrong... they play nothing but techno music; loud, heavy bass and very repetitive. This is all they play... no variety at all. Sad. In the new Havana Club, located in the new Steakhouse restaurant, you would again expect at least some latin music, right? Wrong... all the DJ plays is techno music, with a bit of disco thrown in. Sad.

Here are the points which are of relevance. 1. Beachfront property and almost all the rooms have a direct sea view. 2. All inclusive means everything is included except premium drinks. Like Glennfiddich, glennlivet, macallan, for which you have to pay extra. 3. Awesome pool and pool side bars serving unlimited food and drinks but you have to get the umbrella and chairs in the morning else you have to sit under the sun. 4. Amazing room service and food can be ordered in the room. Very impressive. 5. Amazing restaurants inside the resort and some of them have to be reserved. 6. Fantastic buffets and overall awesome food. 7. Hydrotherapy and spa is included but none of the massages are included. You have to pay extra. 8. All resort fees and extras are included. Nothing out of pocket after you purchase the Ll inclusive package. 9. There are some great shows that happen in the resort everyday . Do watch it 10. There are some fairs in the resort but DO NOT BUY anything from there. You will be robbed literally. A bracelet for my kid cost me 22$ which is usually 1$-2$ in USA.. 11. Local sight seeing tours from the hotel is not good at all. Negotiable with them properly. We dint have a good experience with Mexican travels for a chichen itza tour.

This is the second time we have stayed here. It is an extremely nice resort. Facilities are good. Property is beautiful. Lots of unique pools with swim up bars. Ocean front beach is fantastic with great swimming. Staff is extremely pleasant and more than helpful. Location is great, especially if you are looking for a little night life (Coco Bongo is not even 2 blocks away. Suggest you try it once, but don't go the cheap route). Food is fine. Had an Ocean Front Suite (East Wing is closer to the water and a bit quieter) and could not get much closer to the water. This is a very enjoyable property.

For Couples... Couples travel really for 1 of 3 reasons. They have no kids, their kids are grown and they are out to enjoy life OR they are trying to get away from the ones they have. That being said, the Coral Beach location is becoming a bit of a tropical Chuck E. Cheese. LOTS of children, unchecked children. Yelling, screaming, crying, tearing around the resort and commandeering the pools. Screaming babies and kids in the "nicer" restaurants during dinner. That probably speaks more to state of poor modern parenting than to the Coral Beach, nevertheless it is the reality. Hopefully one day they will create at least a small area of the resort where adults can relax and kids can't go, because it hits the mark on everything else.

The staff and the Infinity club for the master suite category is definitely worth the extra money we paid. The service and the restaurants also excellent we had a wonderful time and the water was so clean and beautiful. The jet ski experience was fantastic.

Sometimes we expect luxury hotels to be all new and modern, but this is definitely on the Classic side and could be mistaken for as dated, but things are really a high quality marble everywhere, beautiful fixtures, but it still could use some heavier updates on fabrics and the main lobby. I also feel that Valley entrance. Bellman and front desk should up their game with friendliness and smiles and aggressive, welcoming.

I was looking for a relaxing vacation, where I could expend as little brainpower as possible, and this place delivered! From the beautiful room with the breathtaking view of the ocean, the amazing food I ordered on room service (part of the all inclusive package), that was so fresh and flavorful, the helpful staff, the spa where I got 2 amazing massages (thank you Hilda!) and the hydrotherapy that has made me feel better than I have in years, I have come away feeling like a new person!! If you are seeking to be relaxed and rejuvenated, look no further! Also I was apprehensive before going because I read reviews about the place being old, but I barely noticed.

A minor gripe, but I didn’t like the scent on the sheets and pillows. Perhaps it could be possible to choose a more neutral smelling laundry detergent?

The hotel was beautiful our ocean front room view was spectacular. The restaurants were excellent our favorite two were the steak house and the hibachi asian one. We loved the beach there were was no hassle getting a chair and no one trying to sell you anything. The cafe with all the amazing coffees and the icecream for kids was the best! Kids could not get enough! The evening entertainment was also lots of fun, kids enjoyed it a lot. Housekeeping did an amazing job!

What we did not like was that every day even as early as 6 am there were no pool chairs available. It was very disappointing. And even if people were not using them thru out the day or were done with them there was no one walking around checking and or taking off old towels that were just left behind. The room could use a little update mostly the bathrooms they were very outdated and need new mirrors could use a new tub as well a a new coat of pain in the bathroom. Other than that the room was big and very clean.

by all-inclusive, it really was all-inclusive! 24hour room service, with your room cleaned TWICE daily! the resteraunts were amazing, we kept asking ourselves "are we sure this is included?". There are a few things not included, but they make that very well known as you check in - and its not a lot. the staff were lovely - like they loved working there. There was activities hosted by the resort that could be read about on a newspaper released at brekky each morning. We did a cocktail making class, there was SUP yoga and tours to and from the hotel - all free. the best part, we had an afternoon flight, they allowed a late check out at 1pm (at no extra charge) and you still had all-inclusive until you left (for us, at 3pm). So we had the bags behind reception and had coffee, lunch and ice-cream before leaving.

really not much to put here... a small thing would be there wasnt much information about the local transport made aware - so after we paid for taxis to and from town, we released there are the 'R1' and R2' buses that go through the hotel zone and to town and are only a couple of dollars, as opposed to expensive taxis. When you ask reception about transport, they only inform you that they can order a taxi to come up the drive for you - not the buses. Also, it was way cheaper to get your laundry done only a few hundred metres from the hotel, as opposed to their laundry service - but i cant compare as i didnt do their laundry service (i'm sure it was to a higher standard, just very expensive).

Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach is a large property with a huge lobby, two towers, a large, long pool and a long usable beach area. Service is excellent. The food is very good at the restaurants. Drinks were generally excellent.

People reserved chairs at the pool prior to sunrise! Then when they left they didn’t bother to remove their towels making it appear that the chairs were still being used.

The sports bar was more run over by kids. Havana club is lacking. Nothing on the website made it obviously known that you had to make reservations for almost all restaurants, also didn’t see anywhere that two of the restaurants cost extra.

Staff were friendly, cleaning standards in the room were good, lots of activities for kids.

Some of the restaurants lacked identity and authenticity. Appreciate that all-inclusive impacts the standards but simple food like Pasta should be of a higher standard.
