Our room was beautiful (junior suite with ocean view). Really spacious, comfortable bed, nice views and good quality products in the bathroom. Overall the food options were very good. We had a brilliant experience with the wine pairing dinner in the cellar with Jorge (note this was an add-on for $150 per person). Breakfast in the observatory was excellent. We really liked Sea Soul for lunch - very varied menu, excellent food and a nice vibe. There were lots of pools; some busier than others but plenty of spots to relax in too. The gym was very good. Plenty of equipment and it’s a big size as it was mostly busy in the mornings. The staff were brilliant throughout the hotel. We would like to give a special mention to Karlita at the observatory breakfast and Jorge the sommelier in the hotel. Both were so friendly, nice and helpful.

Additional add-ons that aren’t part of the hotel are very expensive, for example the laundry service and the pharmacy ($45 for Hawaiian tropics SPF!). Come stocked with SPF before you arrive :) Wine options included in the all-inclusive package with meals were limited. Would have liked to have seen a couple of other options on this given the price.

The hotel is amazing, the staff very polite and friendly. The spa is the paradise. The service are very personalized once the staff learn your name, all the time your are treated with respect and like a VIP person, always inquiring if you need something else and how you feel.

The restaurants menu are very limited and the opening hours not good, some of then are closed during the week. I had a very bad experience with a waiting time to have my food almost 1 hour and the food came burned and tasting bad. if you like to swimmy on the beach, please do not book this hotel, the beach is not clean with seaweed and rocks and the hotel don't take care of the beach

The resort was beautiful, breathtaking views. The food was good. The room was very nice and spacious. The resort was easy to get around. Pools were beautiful. Breakfast buffet was really nice. The wedding we attended was beautiful.

Many of the restaurants were closed. We came for a wedding and had 6 ppl for dinner one night. Waited over an hr for a table only to be split up and there water was dripping on one of the girls (we were all dressed up) and the manager said there was nothing he could do to move our table, that he had other guests. We got up and left the restaurant. The late night room service menu was almost non existent. The public bathrooms were always dirty. We did not know it was rainy season, so it rained a lot. There were no activities for rainy days. Lastly, out or 25 ppl, about 40% ended up with diarrhea. Only constant was the glasses of water. Resort is definitely overpriced compared to other resorts (we have been 3 times in 2 years).

All restaurants didn't have good food and entertainment. We only ate at 2 of them every day.

Very modern e.g automatic blinds and technology in the room was impressive. The room and design of the hotel was beautiful and really aesthetic, the whole property was stunning and really felt like a high end resort, some staff members went above and beyond to make our stay special and catered to my wife’s gluten allergy where possible.

The maintenance took a very long time for example when we had broken glass in our room, they took around an hour to come, and the room service took a very long time around 45 mins minimum for water bottles. We also weren’t able to book in at restaurants as the resort didn’t have reservations and often we were waiting an hour for a table at one of the restaurants for dinner when we were hungry. On one day there was no space by the pool or sun loungers by the beach which resulted in us walking around aimlessly.

This is one of the most incredible hotels in Riviera Maya. It's extremely relaxing, with multiple areas to swim and lounge in. The design of each area is so well thought out, so if you want to listen to live music at the main pool by the ocean, or have a quiet time in another pool, lay in a hammock over the water, or relax in a cenote style pool area, you can suit your mood on any given day. The restaurants have excellent high quality food, plenty of options on the menus and of course high service standards by all of the waiting staff in both the restaurants and bars. From the moment you enter the lobby you have breathtaking views of the ocean and main hotel areas. The staff that greet you and the reception staff are extremely professional and they all give a service that is above the levels of other hotels in the region. The entertainment at night was excellent, with many acts playing back to back with a smooth transition and the audio/lighting was perfectly matched to the events. The lay out and interior design of the suites are just incredible. I loved everything about them and it was just pure luxury to stay there in one of the most comfortable beds I've ever stayed in. I can't wait to go back to this hotel and I'm sure I will have multiple visits in the future. Excellent job on the new opening of this hotel, it certainly lived up to the hype and the expectation I had going there. This adults only Secrets resort is worth every penny and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Leaving! My family and I had booked other hotels within the region over a 5 night period, as we were doing a tour of the area, but we all agreed that had we known how amazing this hotel was, we would have just spent the 5 nights there.

This property is incredibly beautiful! The rooms were well appointed and the food was incredible. As always when we travel to this part of the world, service is unmatched. Demetrio at the Mexican restaurant gave us some of the best service we have ever had in any restaurant. He took great care to ensure that nothing that was served to me contained any of my food allergens. His recommendations were spot on. Enrique at the Japanese restaurant was also incredible. He explained our dishes and was incredibly attentive throughout our dinner. Roxanna, who provided drink service on the beach, was also incredible. We purposefully sat in her area all the days we were there because of her.

If I had to say anything negative about our stay, I’d say the check-in process was our least favorite of any resort we’ve stayed at. Aldo seemed preoccupied with something else when we were checking in. We were ready to upgrade, but it was only offered as an afterthought. The hard sell for the vacation club also took away from our vacation. It was presented as a VIP experience to tell us about the resort amenities. We wound up spending most of our first morning with them.

High quality, from the staff, the atmosphere was spa like. The rooms were plush, the bed and bedding were dreamy. The shower was like being in a spa. The food was 5 star Michelin quality. The nighttime shows and speakeasy were something we looked forward to even after all day in the sun.

There wasn’t one thing not to like about this hotel.

We had such a wonderful time at this location. Even though it rained almost the entire time, we were out in the pool having a blast. Here is something to be aware of, they want to give you a "tour" of the location to become a "member". That took half our first morning and we were not getting out of there until we paid thousands of dollars to be members. Say NO to anything free and enjoy your stay because that portion is a scam!

Stop having your customers (us) go on these tours for sales pitches that are not equivalent to the contract that is being offered. That was a waste of our vacation time and we fortunately made our experience good even after that bad start.

Clean, luxury and new place.

Super weak conciege service. I tried to contact conciege week before my arrival to discuss proposal and no one was picking up when I arrive I went straight to speak with conciege and their motivation was weak tired and embarassing… I ended up proposing on the beach asking random guests to make a video for me. Also if you expect crystal clear water like I did forget. The water was not clear. Its not hotels fault but I will not choose this hotel in the future.
