Excellent location. Very pleasant staff. Pleasing interior with comfortable chairs in the lobby. Efficient and smiling breakfast crew. Very good sized room. Comfortable beds and pillows. Enough space for 2 people luggage and clothes. Loved the little table near the windows, where you could sip your tea in two. French windows that open. Quiet courtyard (plus church bells). Decent selection of TV and radio programs. Mini bar was handy. Bathtub. Nice hand and body soap and conditioner. Enough clean towels.

The bathroom could use some adjustments. The toilet seat had a lot of scratches, leaving the impression that it wasn't clean (while it was). The shower is not a power shower, but it has a decent jet. The heardrier is old, overheats quickly. The tissue box kept opening due to drier cable going over it; or when you took out a tissue. Also, it seemed battered. The air-conditioning produced a lot of noise, so we kept it switched off during the night. The breakfast selection was not what we expected for a 4-star hotel (compared to our other experiences in both 3 and 4 star hotels). The nice breakfast area and lovely staff made up for this.

Beautiful hotel right in the heart of Haarlem. Staff were very friendly and the room was very comfortable- beds and pillows were really comfortable and there was a small fridge in the room. Location was brilliant with loads of bars & restaurants right on the doorstep and about a 10 minute walk to the main train station. There was a water dispenser on each floor which was handy to refill water bottles.

We just had breakfast on one morning in the hotel and did not think the selection was great for the price. €43 for breakfast for 2 people so would have expected more options for the price. However there are loads of places nearby to choose from.

We stayed for three nights, and would happily return again. Perfectly clean rooms and facilities. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is in a great location and very close to everything locally. We had a lovely street view from the window. The windows offer good sound proofing for general night time noise. Beds are comfortable. The price was very reasonable, considering our stay happened to fall during the Haarlem Jazz Festival. Thank you for a great stay!

Service at front desk was excellent, helpful and courteous and provided an in-room tutorial on some of the appliances. The atmosphere is private, calm and clean. The location is at the core of Haarlem. We did regrettably not have breakfast at your facilities because we are former residents and have many nostalgic and still available items to sample.But I'm certain it would be First Rate, as is our total impression of our stay..

Hazardous entry into shower / tub- IMO it needs a few anti-skids where one would stand/move around. The mini fridge could be a bit cooler. Otherwise everything was perfect All the time.

We have stayed at Amrath Haarlem three times within the past two months as visiting family during a European holiday. For our most recent stay we booked the Junior Suite which was fabulous! A huge amount of space in the room and lovely big bathroom too. We don't book breakfast so can't comment on that but the staff are lovely and the room is clean and comfortable. This hotel is a perfect location in Haarlem hence why we keep returning to it!

The wifi in the suite was a little weak at times.

Great location in the centre of town. Lots to do and see and easy to get to the station.

The staff at the front desk were not very helpful and less than friendly. They didn’t seem to care about the guests and didn’t go out of their way to be helpful. On the other hand, the cleaners were super friendly and kind. It shouldn’t be hard to smile and be friendly when you work in the tourism industry.

3rd time staying at the Amrath - great location between main square and the river / canal. Close to restaurants / bars etc. About 10 mins walk from train station. Staff very friendly and helpful when needed - booked taxi for us to airport. Hotel very modern with fabulous roof stained glass and curved staircase. Rooms modern and very clean etc. Water dispenser on each floor which was great as very hot when we were there. Excellent breakfast - room used is their bar later in the day

Excellent location, a short walk from the rail station. Very clean and quiet room, with comfortable beds, and good quality shower products. First class breakfast, with a great selection of cereals, breads, fruit, cold meats and cooked food. Staff very efficient and always a friendly welcome when returning to the hotel each day. Lots of good places to eat, and an excellent restaurant adjacent to the hotel.

Nothing, we would consider booking there again.

What can I say but go here instead of Amsterdam, and specifically this hotel over any other. Might be a ten minute walk from the train, but honestly, that's desired as the hotel is in the best possible location within the city center. Close to anything one might ever consider needing, from plethora of groceries to toys, clothes and restaurants. Probably the best place I've ever visited as a tourist, with an exceptional hotel at that.

The electric bikes in the city are a bit frightening, but apart from that, there is nothing to subtract from the experience.

Housekeeping needs some improvements and rooms need to get a little makeover. I had to call the front desk when housekeeping forgot to provide towels, the shampoo/body wash bottle was empty, umbrella was not available upon request.Room was specious but placement of furniture trash cans, coffee maker/ tea kettle was in strange arrangements. Staff can benefit from a workshop on how to assists guests navigating the city by showing the locations of the important sights on the map.
