Their genuine hospitality made a lasting impression. Breakfast each morning was a highlight. The selection was generous, featuring both local and international options, all prepared with care and served in a relaxed setting. The location is another key advantage: peaceful and scenic, with easy access to main attractions. I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton DoubleTree in Cluj, a 5-star hotel that impresses with its prime location just a short walk from the city center. From the moment you enter, you’re welcomed with the signature warm cookie and a level of hospitality that reflects the Hilton brand. The rooms are spacious, clean, and elegantly furnished, offering all the amenities expected from a high-end hotel. Staff were attentive and professional throughout my stay, always ready to assist with a smile. The breakfast buffet was varied and delicious, catering to both local and international tastes. One of the standout features is the hotel’s convenient location—perfect for exploring Cluj’s vibrant streets, restaurants, and cultural spots. Overall, Hilton DoubleTree Cluj delivers a comfortable and enjoyable stay, ideal for both business and leisure travelers. With just a bit of modern refreshment, it could easily become one of the top destinations in the region.

The only minor drawback I noticed was that the spa area, as well as some parts of the hotel interior, could benefit from a bit of renovation and a more modern touch. While everything was functional and clean, updating the design could elevate the overall luxury experience even further

Unexpectedly spacious room, comfy beds and good amenities in the room. The staff was very polite and friendly to us, offered us fresh cookies and a discount for the restaurant on premises. The location is perfect, the hotel is in walking distance from all nice shops and restaurants. We were accommodated with our golden retriever nonetheless they had some restrictions regarding the dog size.

I think they should mention in the description what the restrictions are for the dogs. Being a pet friendly hotel, I expect they would accommodate dogs of any size, but it's not the case and it's not mentioned in the description.

The staff were wonderful, especially Rene at reception. Also the waiters in the restaurant were great The room was really comfortable and we enjoyed the pool . The hotel is in an amazing location...near Union Square.

There aren't any light weights (.5, 1, 2,2.5 kilos) at the gym so I couldn't train with weights. There aren't enough electric sockets in the room so it wasn't comfortable to charge phones etc.

The air condition was noisy but we couldn't avoid using it due to the noise from the street (although the room was located on a high floor). The big disappointed was the nonfunctioning swimming pool , which was very important for us and one of the reasons of choosing this specific hotel It seems that you Booking have also part of our bad feeling since you haven't notified us prior to our arrival . The hotel took some responsibility, but still it caused us unnecessary frustration

Classic business hotel with spacious, clean rooms. We didn't book breakfast. Located in the city center, all attractions are within walking distance. The area is good, and the room is well-equipped, including a useful iron.

Some items felt a bit worn, like the bedding (though it was beautifully clean) and the bathroom door. There's nothing majorly wrong, but you do expect a bit more from a Hilton.

Great location, very nice pool (with warm water), big room, comfortable bed. Overall very good experience.

Amenities a bit old, two wings in the building not connected, so you need to take lift down to the lobby then up on the other wing to the mezzanine to get to the restaurant

We chose this hotel following a disappointing booking at another hotel nearby and chose it for its reliability, it didn't disappoint. The room was clean and spacious and the breakfast copious if of variable quality. The staff were generally helpful although check in took longer than we might have liked.

The parking can't be accessed directly from the hotel and the air-conditioning is exceptionally noisy. The price was quite high (admittedly a last minute booking) in comparison with the level of finishing of the hotel but all in all it was a good stay.

Very comfortable room and a great location

The pool water was like a bath it was so so hot - I booked this hotel specifically because I need to swim laps for my back and it was the first time in my life I was sweating while swimming! Would recommend turning down the heat to 27 degrees at least.
