My favorite of all Anantara hotels in the world. The villa is absolutely stunning, the facilities are wonderful and the room is more than comfortable and cosy. The bed is fantastic, towels fluffy, amenities great. The breakfast is really good, everything is presented with taste and organic and locally grown vegetables. High quality

Expensive for parking, should be included. Breakfast room is a bit noisy. The staff could be a bit more friendly and welcoming. When I checked in the lady at the reception told me in a bit condescending tone that I booked last minute as that is not convenient for her. If rooms are available to be booked, they should be ready at any time in my opinion.

Loved our room - it was a junior suite overlooking the golf course and lake. Very comfortable for two adults and one child, they even added an extra bed free of charge charge. Breakfast each morning was delicious - you must drink the fresh orange juice! Lots of options for everyone, including vegan and gluten free. We had the half board dining option during our stay. Every restaurant was delicious - wide variety of options with delicious, fresh food for children too. We went during the UK May half term school holiday and the kids club was open. Our son (almost 4 years old) loved spending an hour or two there each day!

Accessible could have been better. Lots of cobbles around the resort (adds to the charm!) but tricky for me to walk as I have a mobility issue. Spa also does not have changing rooms on the ground floor (you have to take stairs to get to them) which is not ideal, but the team helped me move around. The traditional architecture also meant that some parts of the resort were lacking bannisters along staircases - highly recommend updating or adding these in for ease of movement for everyone!

It’s a beautiful hotel which is decorated tastefully. The architecture design is great. The interiors are beautiful. It’s surrounded with a golf course and it adds additional charm.

The access to the property. Our first journey from the airport to the property was through the mountains. Then coming back from Marbella was difficult. One map site was taking us through a river with no bridge!! When found another way, the roads were not built yet and it was difficult bumpy journey.

Nice service and we enjoy staying in this beautiful resort, here are some comments and suggestions: - they checked us late, I waited 2.5 hours to get into my room - The activities are limited, you get bored quickly - I suggest they add some activities like table tennis, billiard etc - Tennis and Padel and beach are somewhere else, there is nice shuttle service to take you there every hour 👍 - I suggest they do like Anantara in Thailand and Oman, they assign someone to help you plan activities to - I had a problem with TV and I couldn’t watch Euro 2024 matches and they couldn’t fix it - We tried to book Golf, but they ask for license and you need to wear polo shirt - The furniture is old.. however the prices are high.. even for activities like Golf.. it is high ملاحظه: يوجد شطاف في "بعض" الغرف

Hotel is beautiful. Staff were fantastic, nothing seemed like it was too much. We organised a trip to Caminito Del Ray, through the hotel which was excellent. Hotel rooms were also great.

If you are there to golf, I cannot imagine there’s a better hotel in the area. We were there with teenage children. Location is a 15 min taxi ride from town & beach. So be prepared to think about what you want to do. Beach club was closed, which is what it is. Price for food and drinks were crazy expensive.

The property is beautifully situated on the border of Marbella. The room is spacious, and the highlight is the freshly prepared breakfast. The reception staff provided attentive service as well.

The room service included a delivery charge of 10 euros, which is unexpected for a 5-star hotel. Additionally, during our late lunch on the terrace, we noticed that the cutlery was not clean, and we received ginger that appeared to be spoiled.

There is really nothing to like about this hotel to be honest. Everything from the overall appearance, food, staff and service... Everything is on point and very professional (as it should be at this level).

Due to the winter season, all restaurants were not open which was a little bit of a shame but fully appreciate that you don't want to have terrace seating open in the cold and also staffed when the hotel has low occupation.

I stayed here with my husband for five nights and it was exceptional. We travelled from Madrid to Malaga by train and then took a taxi from the train station, all very reasonably priced. From the check in to check out everything was perfect. The breakfast was wonderful, a huge variety of fresh produce at the buffet and menu options. We tried all the on site restaurants and the food and service were great in all, the Japanese deserves a special mention as the tasting menu was one of the best I’ve ever had. The staff couldn’t have done more to look after us. We took golf classes and the coach was wonderful and the courses were beautifully maintained with views of the sea and mountains. The spa was phenomenal, many different steam rooms and saunas to try. The rooms were beautiful and the beds were incredibly comfy. Lots of wonderful products left in the bathroom. We also tried the brunch at the beach club with again was exceptional, the staff, food, variety and view we’re all amazing.

Children are not being supervised in the pool area and it becomes unbearable to use . Please offer us, your clients a children free pool area or at least time

The hotel is stunning...but the swimming pool is nothing short of a masterpiece—a tranquil oasis that offers far more than just a place to swim. It's a visual spectacle, with azure waters that mirror the sky, framed by well-manicured gardens that provide a vibrant backdrop. Each curve of the pool is designed to enhance the overall aesthetic, making it not just a pool, but an experience.

The hotel is a little isolated for my liking. The on-location restaurants were a little hit-and-miss.
