Good room size Hotel parking always full, but no problem finding a parking spot at the streets arround the hotel for free. Some issues that can be imprroved: cleaning may Take some more atention ( we found hair in the bathroom area, and even a plastic cap, forgotten on the floor) The smell of the wardrobe( like mold) Flushing toilet water seemed like Niagara waterfall🤣🤣 10 euros guarantee for the pool towells. The bed mattress little to hard for your taste, but even so we slept well

The hotel is situated in a quiet neighbourhood, close to a nice park, 10-15 min from the city center. It has a few pools, never crowded, surrounded by beautiful gardens. Sun beds are pretty much always available, which is great. There are no animations, except for live music in the evening - which is exactly what we were looking for. The airconditioning was working well. The parking is indeed very limited, but we could always find a spot close to the hotel (except for one evening, where there was a big party in the city).

The hotel is super clean, but quite dated. Also, I found the food pretty average. We were not allowed to order breakfast for take away one morning, when we had a trip planned. Early breakfast was available, but only within limited timeframe, which was not convenient for us. When travelling with kids, a little more flexibility would be appreciated - I have never experienced similar issues in other hotels. Lastly, we were not aware that animations for kids are available at the hotel, we only noticed a note late during our stay. It would be great to receive more information about it upon check in.

Excellent for the price - it was clean, extremely comfy and all the amenities were excellent. The food was varied and fairly good.

It says free parking but it is not exactly true: it's first come first serve and obviously it's always full. Free parking in street though so you can park outside in the street. Another downside: the staff overall is great but during check in we would have loved more explanation about the amenities: we had to ask around, on the go, to learn more (ex: the towel for the swimming pool, the dinner buffet or the restaurant, the different closing times for the amenities etc.)

The personnel was nice with a good language command in English and German. We had a balcony with a view of the ocean from it. The internet connection was stable and fast. We experienced much flexibility: i.e. we had not booked dinner but got it easily in the spot, for a fee. The food was just exceptional, both breakfast and dinner. And excellent beds, backpain-free!

This might be a strange thing to write, but the flush of the toilet was ridiculously loud, at the level of loudness of flushing in an airplane. No way to use the bathroom at night without waking your partner. Our room also had a shower head that could not be attached to the wall, and washing long hair with one hand drove me nuts sometimes.

The hotel is amazing and it was worth it for 4 stars. Breakfast has a variety of options and even though we went to eat at 10 or 10:15 (breakfast is until 10:30) the plates were full of food. We didn t experience the feeling "they run out of a specific food". The elevators were the cherry on top, with mirrors you could see a nice view especially during the sunset. The pool area is very nice and quiet. The hotels walls are amazing, with a nice view too. The room is quite big and the staff cleaned very well every morning.

The only thing that was unexpected for us was that the the hotel was 70% occupied by the old people and we didn t have the dressing gown in the rooom which you usually find in a 4 stars hotel.

We liked the place entirely. Very friendly staff, great location, plenty of activities to do inside and around the hotel. From the receptionist, to the housekeepers and the maintenance personnel, everyone smiles and salutes you. Hotel bar was good with plenty of drinks to choose from plus they have 2f1 happy hours from 17-18:00. Pool area was amazing and the place overall is very clean.

The only thing I could say it can be improved, and I had hard times having one, is the breakfast options. The food is almost the same every day and if you stay many days you kinda get tired of it. A bit more diversity would be great.

Absolutely love this hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Room big and clean with balcony. Bed really big and comfortable. Bring a travel kettle if your English. Breakfast was included and great choice in a lovely room and by pool. Hotel is very relaxed lots of areas to sit. Entertainment most nights. Service great. Pool area really lovely lots of plants,palms and pretty. About 20 minute walk down steep hill to town. We loved everything. Visited Loro Parque and Mount Tiede. Siam Park in south and kids did quad biking. We would definitely come to Hotel Puerta Palace again and would highly recommend. Never felt like a Hotel, so friendly, spacious and pretty. Had a fabulous week ☺️ 🌟

The hotel is quite nice, with spacious rooms and daily cleaning. The breakfast is fairly varied, the pool is large, and it’s about a 20-minute walk to the old town. There is plenty of parking available nearby.

It’s not a particularly special hotel, but it’s quite nice if you need a place to stay while exploring the north of the country — the location is pretty convenient. I’m not sure what it would be like to spend an entire day at the hotel, as we only slept there and spent the evenings at the live music shows. There weren’t many facilities for children, so they might get bored if they had to stay all day. But that wasn’t our case, as we only spent a short time there.

Excellent hotel! Looks like it is very well looked after and managed. There was everything we needed. Pools, jacuzzis, nice surroundings to the pool (well done gardeners) also there was a bar/bistro where you could get lunch, snack or a drink which you could eat there or there was an option to take it to your sunbed (they provide you with takeaway cups. i had a drink not sure about food). There is also a mini shop to get bottles of water for fair prices. The hotel lobby and other premises were kept clean and spotless including our room. Also, the hotel provides a shuffle bus to/from the town which was a great touch!

Only a little downside would be a bit of noise from the road next to the side of our hotel. Wasn't too annoying but not for those who seeks real quit place to relax on the balcony. Saying that I believe that the other side/wing could be quiter so there is an option. However a beautiful view of mount Tiede made it up:)

this is our third time back to this property within the past 6 months, we clearly like it. however, despite many nice memories, our check-in and check-out experience is always the lowest quality. this specific time the lady at the reception made a rude comment about us in spanish which she thought I did not understand, but I clearly did. This was the day right before Christmas which we chose to start celebrating early and she completely and senselessly ruined our experience. this is something I hope management reads and follows up on, as if it happened to me, I’m sure happens multiple times a day.
