The staff were all exceptional, very friendly and welcoming and helpful. The gardens are a beautiful relaxing place to be. Food was very good, good choices and was reasonably hot compared to other hotel buffets we have had. The room was very comfortable, and the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. We had green parrots visit us on the balcony which were a lovely sight. The shuttle bus was very welcome to bring us back from the town as it is all up hill.

Our room was 406, which at first we thought was great,we arrived on a Friday and the weekend was lovely, the room was on the corner of the hotel and we could see mount tiede one side and the sea the other way. However on Monday we got new neighbours in the room next door who smoked alot, we could no longer sit on the balcony when they were out there due to the smell. Also the room was above the main goods in/out area of the hotel. On weekdays arrivals and collections happened at all times of day and night often waking us at 4am. I would stay here again as the hotel is great but I would choose a room with the garden view as it would be much quieter there.

Booked and had confirmation of a room with a walk in shower. But when we arrived said room was not available. Had to wait till the following day for the requested room. This meant we couldn't unpack and relax after a long day travelling. Not enough seating in the bar area. Especially when bad weather meant seating outside not possible. Went to bed early due to not being able to find anywhere to sit. Some of the entertainment left a bit to be desired.

I've been to this hotel three times now, the staff are always excellent, the food always good and the rooms clean and well presented. The hotel is a little way from the centre of town so the free courtesy bus is welcome. The outdoor pool area is nice with plenty of plants and a back entrance to the neighbouring park. I'll be going again.

Maybe its a English thing, but I would like a drink in the room on arrival, a bottle of water or ideally, a kettle and a few coffee and tea or somthing would be great so you could have a drink after a long journey without having to go straight to the bar. The in room tea and coffee options seem expensive, but most people wont need it.

The hotel was very good and the room had everything we needed, although we would have liked a kettle or coffee making facilities

The downside of this hotel is definitely the parking. The hotel advertises parking on site, but it should definitely say LIMITED parking on site. We arrived on Monday and there were no spaces available until the following Sunday. We were directed to a local car park (free) which was also full. Luckily we did manage to find a space after another car left, but it made us reluctant to go anywhere after that.

This hotel is fantastic. In an excellent location. The staff are exceptional. The breakfast is fabulous everything you could ever want. Nice big rooms.

The lunch and evening meal options are very poor. Not enough vegetarian options. I struggled to find something to eat this time and even hubby as a meat eater found it hard. The quality as really suffered and gone downhill sadly. The entertainment is very old fashioned. Seeing lots of younger people at the hotel this time you need to look at this as they were finding it very boring.

Everything the hotel has super gardens and car parking. We have already booked for next year.

Only comment was Restuarant who have reduced the choice of evening soups from two to one so we missed out twice. Shame but hope the amend. Everything about the hotel is very suitable fir our needs and will continue to stay as in previous years.

The hotel is not located directly on the ocean shore, so it is a little further from the central part of the city, but for this reason I recommend it to those who want to spend their evenings in a calmer, quieter place. The breakfast and dinner offer is sumptuous! The room was clean and tidy, maybe a bit dark.

The furnishings and interior design seemed a bit old-fashioned to me.

This is a fantastic hotel. Ideally located. It has incredible staff that make you feel like family. The beds are super comfy and the room are large with everything you need.

This time we was very disappointed with the food. The quality and choice has certainly gone down since last year and this time extremely repetitive. 😢 it won't stop us returning though 😊

Really beautiful, clean and quiet place. The staff was very cheerful and helpful. Prices were good. I recomend a room with a pool view, its amazing! During the day on the pool area there was entertaiment and games and in the night in the terrace was really nice live music. There is a park on the back of the hotel, very good for walks.

The food was a bit of a dissapointment. Breakfast was the same for 7 days so a bit boring. Dinners were okay, not good or great, just okay. The restaurant's closing time was 22.15 but when we went at 21.15 we felt a bit rushed to finish our food. We ate for 20 mins, lots of the food was already being taken back.

The hotel staff was very friendly and attentive to all our needs. Breakfast was in good and very varied. Dinner is served as buffet with good variety of food - nothing glamorous, but a good option if you are not in the mood to go outside. The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the city center, on a hill. It does not require great physical shape, but it might not be a pleasant walk for everyone.

We had two different experiences within the same hotel: first night we checked in a room at ground floor on the pool side. It was great to exit the room directly in the garden area, however the room was rather dark and cold, with a very humid air. By the time we came back from dinner, a wall in the room was completely wet from inflitration. We reported it to reception, but the hotel was full and they could not change our room. However next day when we came back from our trip we found a note of appology with a proposal to change the room and a bottle of champagne. The new room was very spacious, sunny and also seemed recently renovated. If we had it from the first day, our stay would have been perfect.
