Loved the location and room size relative to what I hear other hotel rooms can be in Seoul. Lovely staff.

Slight smell upon entry - I think left over from the restaurant in the evenings. And it’d be nice to have updated smart tv options in the hotel.

That it was not explained that the entrance to the Hotel was on another street

I like the location just a few minutes walk from Hongik University Line 2. I like that it is near to many restaurants and shops. I can hang out nearby till 11+pm and then return to hotel which is just a short walk away. I like the comfortable bed and the design of the pantry and toilet/bath where u can slide the door close to segregate the beds from the pantry/bath. The reception staff are all very polite and friendly.

The lift from lobby to level 1 could smell better with some air freshener. The hotel room pantry did not have tea bags. The layout of the hotel room was difficult to put a large luggage at the sliding door next to the bed, which blocked the passage from bath to the windows.

Great location in the middle of lively Hongdae. The room was nice and clean, with complimentary water and coffee capsules provided. Excellent toilet and shower facilities. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The room is small and cramped, especially if you have more than two pieces of luggage. We visited in the winter and the closet is hardly big enough for all the coats/layers, not to mention it's on the far side of the room rather than near the door where it would be more convenient. Also, the light at the bathroom sink was too dim at a bad angle, making it almost impossible to do eyebrows/makeup.

We got to check in early, which was a pleasant surprise for us. The staff spoke English well, which made things easier (after coming from Sokcho). The sink, toilet and shower areas were all separated, which we appreciated. Overall, room was very comfortable and location was great.

There was some loud sound coming from the shower drain the first night, which startled us from our sleep. We called for help, but there was no more sound by the time the maintenance guy came, and he explained it was due to water pressure. The sound came back again the second night, but we let it be until it went away. In hindsight, we should have requested to change rooms. The remote for the toilet bidet functions also didn't seem to be working very well...

Extremely god location to explore Hong Dae. As a first time visitor to Seoul, I highly recommend staying in this area. It does not have many touristy spots, but it really has a great Korean Vibe. I felt like we really experienced how Koreans spend their time. The staff was happy to provide us with an early check in. It is a small detail, but I feel that this is one of the best appreciated perks that any traveler can get.

To be very critic, I think that the breakfast was a bit under my expectations. But it had all the tradicional itens and it was a good start of the day anyway.

The location was convenient if you are looking to be in this area. The hotel was easy to find and navigate. Even though it was on a busy street, the hotel was quiet in the rooms. One night there were dancers performing nearby, but closing the window kept the music out. The gentleman who checked us in was super nice and helpful as well. It was also convenient to have the toilet, shower, and sink area all separated. I think this hotel was a pretty good value for the price.

Rooms are pretty tight, but my friend and I each got our own rooms, so it was perfect for us.

The hotel is located very near a major subway station (a stop along the All-stop Airport Express) and in a hip area where there r a lot of activities and many shops and eateries. The staff r friendly and helpful and the rooms r well-kept and comfortable. There is also a complimentary capsule-coffee machine with decent coffee. Although there isn’t a swimming pool but there is a well-stock gym. Check-out time is at 12pm which is later than the 11am check-out time for most hotels. Even that the manager still able to extend our check-out time to 1pm.

The room size is a bit constrained but understandable cos in Seoul these popular areas r hugely expensive. One minor point is to have a few clothing hooks in the bath/ toilet area for convenience.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Mercure Ambassador Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The room was impeccably clean and stylishly decorated. The location is unbeatable, with easy access to the bustling streets, and all the famous and delicious food.

I did find the breakfast offerings to be somewhat lacking. A bit more variety and freshness would have been appreciated. The value of the breakfast is not worth for the price. And the bedroom size is too small to fit in 2 luggage.

A clean and tidy room in the heart of the action—situated between a lively party street on one side and a bustling shopping street on the other. This spot is perfect for those aged 18 to 25. Fortunately, our room on the 8th floor faced the quieter shopping street, offering a more peaceful stay. Thanks for updating, super helpful and kind receptionist.

We decided to dine at the hotel's restaurant, only to find a waiting list of 20 guests—most of whom were hotel residents. Disappointingly, the staff didn’t prioritize hotel guests. To make matters worse, they refused to take an order for room service.
