We loved the overall styling of the resort. Location - The beachfront area was superb, absolutely beautiful water. A relatively short walk to the township. Loved that the mini fridge was complimentary and also had coconut face spray. Complimentary gin, vodka and whisky topped up daily was fantastic. Surprise of the day was a charming touch. Breakfast buffet was the best we’ve ever had, and we are well travelled. From the presentation to the taste, it was top notch and we would honestly go back just for the breakfast. Bed was extremely comfortable and black out curtains great. Loved the shower and bath. The fine dining experiences at the restaurants were very good thanks to the staff and the amazing presentation and taste of the food.

The prices were really getting up there. We are from Sydney and found the prices on par if not worse than nice places back at home. If you are coming here expecting Thailand prices like they used to be/are at other places, this is the not the place for you. The atmosphere of the restaurants in the evening was disappointing. While the food was incredible, the restaurants are in the same place breakfast is served and virtually nothing is done distinguish or differentiate the spaces between dinner and breakfast. Eg, having a fine dining experience in the same place our eggs were cooked in the morning (Sa Nga) was quite amusing to us. Some small changes in decor (pillows, lighting etc) would go a long way.

Great hotel with beautiful design and layout on both the rooms and common areas, both indoor and the outdoor garden and pool areas, with the beach in front having amazing sand and crystal clear water. Breakfast was amazing with very high quality, but hot dishes were mostly the same every day and could have varied a bit more.

While beautifully designed the rooms were impractically laid out with lots of wasted space and not having any closet space or anywhere dedicated to spread out suitcases except on the floor. Also the hotel overstates the room sizes by a lot, including adding the private balcony area to the room size. The "40sqm" regular rooms are in reality only 28sqm + 8sqm balcony, while the "60sqm" superior rooms are only 43sqm + 8sqm balcony, so both are considerably smaller than claimed by the hotel.

The hotel is huge , the pool is very welcoming, the hotel is very beautiful and friendly A gem in the busy chaweng beach .

The breakfast needs an upgrade We don’t eat Asian food and the western food wasn’t that good and very low . There are flies everywhere it’s not nice to take food that 4 flies resting on it and it’s very easy to fix . Vegetables selection was very poor and didn’t look fresh . Cleanliness in the room - if it’s not extreme clean it’s not clean that needs an improvement.

Service was excellent and there were lots of small treats. Breakfast was excellent. Room was spacious, clean and well maintained. Can’t fault it!

The breakfast and food in general was very good. The motivation of the staff was very high. Following people made our stay very good: Eytan, the food and beverage manager, Bao, the barkeeper, Paul, responsible for the pool area, Prae, Fon, Pop and Chompoo from the kids club. The hotel is very stylish. Also, Big the operation manager who was very helpful

- the beach, the sea is rough and 90% of the time the red flag warned us from entering. - overcrowded, the pool area is too overcrowded - the English skill level of some workers is not very good (but that is a known problem in Thailand)

Centara Reserve at Koh Samui exceeded our expectations, standing out as the best hotel we've ever visited. The beauty, serenity, and immaculate cleanliness create an atmosphere of pure tranquility. The personnel goes above and beyond, exceptionally welcoming and friendly, making us fall in love not just with the resort but with Koh Samui itself. The hotel made our honeymoon exceptionally special with complimentary upgrades and personal touches. We absolutely love this place.

The property itself, pools, garden and entire surroundings. The design of the restaurants, staff and amazing breakfast (both from location and quality point of view). The location was also really good, not to forget about the amazing beach (white sand and crystal clear water).

The rooms were to small, no space for unpacking your clothes or to put your bag (I had to keep it on the floor…). No proper cleaning in the bathroom. The pools were open from 7 am, the sunbeds were reserved a lot before, however the people reserving them started to come to the pool around 9-10 am (especially at Adults only pool). One morning we went to reserve at 6 am(!) and literally all sunbeds were already occupied. Not sure how?! Were guests reserving already the night before?! I believe the resort should take measurements from this point of view.

The staff were just amazing and the star of the property. They made us feel so welcome, accomodated us with a late checkout and just super friendly overall. We really appreciated the celebration set up they provided in the room as well. Great beach right at the doorstep of the hotel, yummy breakfasts, super relaxed environment and we were won over by the"surprise of the day" concept :)

Getting daybeds by the pool was really tough. Guests tend to camp out at the daybeds all day so maybe there need to be broad timeslots or more daybeds. Also would have been nice to have more sitting space in the room, or somewhere to place your smaller items like handbags etc.

Beautiful property close to town. Need to walk 10 minutes before there are some shops and restaurants. You have to walk 20 minutes to the Main part of town where all the action is. Beach was beautiful with white sand and not rocky. Shallow so you can walk out really far and it only comes up to waist. Breakfast was amazing with lots of variety at buffet plus you can order off the menu. We ate by the poolside restaurant which was good but nothing special. Dinner was ok. It’s really quiet at the hotel in the evening so I enjoyed going into town for dinner and entertainment.
