Rules related to 1hr limit at pool for pool lounges. I lost a chair because I was sitting at the pool bar spending money for the resort. Was a poor experience and all I got from the person controlling the seats saying it's the rules.

The sheets were not replaced with fresh ones during our 6-night stay. While we didn’t notice the button near the door for requesting this service until the last night, it still seems reasonable to expect a sheet change at least once during such a lengthy stay. So, remember to push the button :)

Beautiful place, very new. Slightly overpriced though. The only negative thing is the fact that rooms were not equipped with Smart TVs (to watch streaming services such as Netflix). I think this is not acceptable for such a luxury hotel

Medium size boutique hotel but very cozy , clean and nice. Quiet , clean , nice breakfast. Room’s size is wide and comfortable. I recommend to take the room with swimming pool access. The swimming pool connected to room is deep , wide and no people . You get almost private swimming pool 👍

The deluxe suite was very spacious and comfortable, the bed was divine. Loved the landscaping of the resort, staff was lovely and helpful. Breakfast was decent (except the juices from the carton, I wish they served fresh fruit juice)

location- it is quite secluded, only a few restaurants near the beach and a minimart within walking distance. sun loungers - the main pool is quite small with insufficient sun loungers. By 11am all the sun loungers would be occupied. housekeeping - inconsistent service. some days the room was only cleaned at 5pm. sometimes towels and bath mats were not replaced. but easily rectified with a quick call to their help desk.

Staff were all pleasant, room was well presented and cleaned reglar.

On arrival we were requested to leave a 10000 baht security for the room, this was not mentioned anywhere in the booking process, so anybody staying should be aware of this, whilst normally a swipe of a card and a nominal charge is sometimes applied the equivalent of approx £220.00 I saw as excessive. This requirement should be clearly shown at the stage of booking to allow consumers to decide if they want to pay this or go elsewhere.

Nice hotel, long line to the beach side , so better take room either in middle or at the end. Beach is beautiful. Some bottles and garbage can be found here and there but overall clean and nice. During our days it was storm and we could not swim. Hotel personnel is super helpful and nice. Breakfast was great with large variety of food.

Lot of mosquitos. I did not expect it. Small, almost invisible. Bites pretty painful. Hotel team gave us room device to beat them. We walk to nearby shop to buy spray and apply every-time when leave room. I am very sensitive to mosquito bites, might be not an issues for others.

Amazing ambience, birds tweeting since early morning, tons of well-maintained greenery, beautiful canal going through the middle of the hotel. I never felt like the hotel was full of people because of how well designed it is. Even the private pools were not really visible from other guests perspective. Really stunning! Breakfast was varied and tasty, every single day. Food in general was exceptionally tasty. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They managed to accommodate us, make us feel welcome and help us out with every single problem we had. Beach was beautiful and the massage at the beach (although not officially part of the hotel) is highly recommended. Rooms are big and have high ceilings, are really nice to be in. WiFi worked really well all around hotel (maybe just didn't reach the beach... But is that a bad thing? ;) )

Cleanliness of the pool area furniture could be better. Prices at the hotel restaurant are unnecessarily high, compared to equally tasty local food outside of the hotel.

We arrived to bell boys taking our luggage to our room, which was beautifully located near the front of the hotel. The room itself was fantastic, large and exceptionally clean, which is very important to us. The bedding and towels were spotless and changed everyday. We felt very safe and secure with the large security door and had a phone in our room to call reception if needed. We called to get a shuttle to the restaurant and beach which were a short walk away. The staff went above and beyond and were very friendly, all smiles and nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel very welcome. The balcony overlooked one of the swimming pools but was also surrounded by beautiful trees so we felt we had a lot of privacy. We couldn't see the people from the balconies either side of us as the walls prevent them / us from feeling too close. We liked this. This hotel has a tropical feel to it and yet is very modern with everything working like clockwork. We organised a day trip, through the hotel, to see elephants, waterfalls, the Tsunami museum and turtle sanctuary, plus a river raft excursion. It was superb and we loved it. The hotel is beachfront. The sand on the beach is pure silk, white, soft and clean. The sea was warm and the sunbeds were perfect to relax on, this was the most relaxing part of our Thailand trip and I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. It was the best of our entire trip. The breakfast was good although no decaff coffee which I did miss. The food in the hotel restaurant was excellent, a good mixture of Thai and western cuisine which is freshly prepared on site. We also visited the three beach restaurants a short walk along the beach which were also very good. The night fire show spectacle was amazing! I cannot praise the staff enough, they do everything to make your stay wonderful.

I would have liked decaff coffee / tea at this hotel, however, it seems Thailand don't know about this yet. Not a problem as I brought decaff teabags with me.

I stayed at this hotel for a brief stop, having previously experienced the Grand Mercure in both Phuket and Bangkok, where I had exceptional stays. I’ve always appreciated the high standard of service and hospitality at Grand Mercure properties, and overall, this stay was also pleasant.

However, as a Front Office Manager myself, I did notice an area for improvement in the front office service. While the staff were polite and well meaning, the check-in process felt somewhat awkward. The team appeared stressed and unsure, which may be a result of insufficient training or support from management rather than any fault of their own. That said, I have no complaints about the staff themselves they were kind and did their best. I believe with proper guidance and training, the front office team could deliver a much smoother and more confident guest experience.
