The room and hotel were just beautiful. The location on the beach was Instagram worthy. Staff were super friendly and helpful and their scooters for hire were really good quality and maintained. My wife left her hair straighteners and the hotel packed them well and sent via Kai Bae Speedboats back to Koh Chang so we could collect them. Above and beyond service. Thank you so much.

The area of the beach just metres from the resorts beach boundary was I'm afraid covered in rubbish and age old detritus. I understand that this is a recurring issue, but a hotel at this price point, I would expect them to collect rubbish beyond their boundary as this is not another resort, just what could be a beautiful place for guests to stroll and enjoy the beach meets jungle vibe. Even put refuse bags on trees for use, I was on holiday but would gladly do my bit for the environment. If not I'll bring my own bags to collect next time I visit this great hotel.

I stayed here for 45 nights and it honestly felt like a 5-star experience. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, always going the extra mile to make me feel at home without being overly fussy — exactly the right balance. I came to relax, reset, and get a bit of work done, and this place delivered perfectly. The breakfast was amazing, and while the resort’s food was consistently lovely, it was also great having easy access to the local village for more options. What stood out most was the genuine warmth of the people — I actually felt like I made some friends here. It’s rare to find a place that combines comfort, professionalism, and such a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll 100% be coming back.

We had a warm welcome and liked the reception/dining area. Being right on the beach was lovely and the resort provided all the protection from insects that you might need. The pool was really nice and a good alternative when you wanted to swim without the inconvenience of being on the beach or in the sea. And you could have drinks brought to you wherever on the beach that you were. The room was beautiful and it was a luxury having an indoor and outdoor shower. The provided flashlight was very welcome given the power outage from a huge thunderstorm in the middle of the night. The outage itself only lasted a few minutes.

There was a lot of confusion in our return journey to Trat, to get home. Nobody at the resort seemed to know where the boat that they booked for us went. There was a lack of decent power sockets in the room so actually using the kettle or trying to charge devices was a pain.

This is our favourite get away spot, its a beautiful location where you can unwind and relax, perfect for both families and couples. I have seen reviews of people complaining about no egg station for breakfast or some food not great, i really wonder what people expect for a resort on a island that has limited resources unlike the bigger island like koh chang. The breakfast is good and you can request an omelette or an egg cooked a certain way by the chef, the food in restaurant is good and is served quick. The staff speak great english and super friendly, plenty of sunbeds and all things like the paddle boards snokels and kayaks are free to use, you can also wonder to the blue pearl pier bar at neighbouring resort. Its a beautiful spot and if you looking for a great chilled weekend without any worries this is the place.

Nothing was all good.

It was stunning. The rooms were lovely, it was very well kept. The view from the rooms on the hill were amazing, and kept very clean. The food was good. We were very happy for the most part.

A few really simple things would make this accommodation better - more sunbeds, cleaning up the beach at the end (it’s cleaned to a point then just left covered in rubbish), raking the beach for the sandflies (they do this at other resorts and we have never been bitten but were bitten here and didn’t see any raking) and most importantly, don’t rush people out of the restaurant at 8.30! Zero nightlife at all here and quite out of the way, which is nice some nights but we felt really rushed most evenings we ate there so opted to eat out most nights. Shame as the view is amazing.

The staff were always helpful and went above and beyond for us to enjoy our stay. The breakfast was an incredible mix of western and Thai cuisine and everything tasted great. The beach was clean (the staff cleared litter and debris every day), and the room from the bungalow was so serene and peaceful. There weren't many people during the time we visited so the beach often felt very private and quiet. The hotel has scooters and golf carts for hire and you can easily book a massage. Everything was amazing and really made our honeymoon the most romantic and mo¥emorable it could have been. Thank you to everyone at Mira Montra!

Nothing - the place is unreal!

Everything! You get a free shuttle from the port to the hotel and back. The staff are absolutely wonderful. They are welcoming, friendly and they go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need and are enjoying your stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and it felt luxurious to us! The balcony and view are great and the amenities in the room are brilliant. We liked the beach bag, use of umbrellas, flip flops and welcome snacks! The breakfast is exceptional. So much variety and well stocked. It even filled us up until the complimentary snacks between 3 and 5pm which were very much appreciated. The free use of the kayaks, paddle boards and snorkel equipment was great. There is plenty of space to enjoy activities and still feel like you have a private beach! We booked an extra night as we enjoyed it so much and really felt relaxed.

Nothing! If you do have poor mobility though, the steps are steep back to the rooms. However, the staff are so lovely and can take you by golf buggy if you need assistance!

We loved our stay at Mira Montra. The stuff were amazing! Very kind and helpful and always there for us. The hotel has an overall relaxed ambience with tones of quiet luxury. We stayed at a beachfront villa which was very pleasantly decorated with natural materials and a very comfortable bed. We loved relaxing on the porch, gazing at the birds flying over. The beach was lovely! The food at the restaurant was great! Breakfast was fine too. We really miss staying at the Mira Montra. We definitely suggest it and hope to re-visit.

Mira Montra is a lovely hotel, set on a stunning beach. There are no other hotels, just a long expanse of beach and gorgeous warm water to enjoy. Our Beachfront Deluxe Villa was really comfortable, with loungers and easy chairs out front. The beach in front of the hotel is meticulously maintained by the lovely staff. Breakfasts were good, with plenty of options for all tastes, and different types of eggs could be ordered. The rental scooters were great for exploring the island, as the hotel is in a quiet location.

There was nothing to dislike, although the perimeter area of the beach, away from the hotel, had a fair amount of washed up rubbish, which was a shame. I am sure the hotel could extend their cleaning boundaries to the perimeter edges, or failing that, place some collection baskets/bags, so that guests who felt inclined, whilst strolling up and down, could do their bit too!!

Very clean rooms and all linen felt nice and soft. A private and slightly secluded beach was great without too many people around. Hotel provides free snorkels, kayaks etc for rent which is very handy. The location is beautiful but not very convenient so you must rent a bike or a car - this is a little pricier at the hotel than outside and you must return it before 7pm or they charge you an hourly late fee. The restaurant is rather small and gets crowded during breakfast. The outside tables are in the sun so they go unused in the morning. Quite a lot of small groups and families with children while we were here so it got a little loud at times and we were unable to use the pool (which is quite small) as it was occupied by the kids all the time.
