The pool, spa and all these things TOP! . Very nice, very easy to get there, to pay, to relax to enjoy The room is perfect, clean, and comfortable and the view is stunning. For me the best view to stay in Karlovy Vary, because the hotel building is the most ugly in town and you don't see it from your point of view.

The staff is mainly unfriendly, but very common in all Czech Rep. Breakfast... Well. Concerts all nights in the yard, and big ones, for 3k people...that wasn't very relaxing, for better relax experience avoid weekends.

The hotel exceeded our expectations – it is comfortable and features well-developed and extensive spa facilities. The staff were very helpful. Although from the outside it looks like a Soviet-era building, the quality of maintenance and the level of comfort are up to modern standards. I can’t comment on the reasonableness of the prices during peak season, as we stayed during the off-peak period (March), but at that time, it was definitely worth the price.

The complimentary access period for the outdoor spa facilities could definitely be longer than two hours per night. It feels as though the outdoor facilities and the hotel are managed by different companies.

I think Thermal hotel has the best view of the town.

If you plan to use sauna, please do your home work about hot rooms and cooling options mentioned on website and ask questions at the time of checking in. The Saunia facility is spread out on 3 different levels and difficult to navigate. It takes time to find your way around as there is no introduction tour that you usually get in states. You also need to realise that you get only one towel and one linen sheet either for 3 hr or full day use. You will be charged 30 CK ( a little more than $1.00) for any additional ones that you need. Also, there is no shampoo, no conditioner, no body lotion provided. Staff is unfriendly ( if not rude) and makes you feel like they make a huge favour to answer your questions.

Breakfast was excellent, discounted parking (350 CZK/d) and whole-day pass for Saunia for 200 CZK (first two hours are) were quite cool and definitely worth it. Balcony is great as well! Hotel's spa center was OK - two small saunas, quite a nice pool and a whirlpool - with enough "beds" around to leave your belongings and chill later.

Showers in room's bathroom were weird - low water pressure, almost no control between hot and cold water. It's not a dealbreaker but it's inconvenient.

The hotel is a 5*+ in my opinion. The multiple SPA facilities, many special saunas, food and drinks at the highest level. The receptionist DENIS SYKERYNEK, saw that we are veteran citizens He treated us above a reasonable level, with generosity, patience and hospitality. He went beyond his duties. He booked us a bus and saved us 12 hours of waiting at the airport. He guided and explained everything that was not clear to us. Exceptional room service. The cleanliness of the room is perfect. Anna ( ANUTA) went out of her way to change the sheets when we didn't ask because she thought otherwise. We had a perfect stay!

The view was exceptional from our rooms, staff was amazing and very friendly, breakfast was delicious with a lot of options, great location.

Going to any pool or spa was like walking through a labyrinth, it's like it was build without sense of direction. Rooms were ok, I wish the sauna would have more options for cooling like couple cold pools

The view was like looking at a postcard. Had to be a new room, was exceptional. Room wasn't all that large but hotel room had a place for everything so no issues and kudo's to the industrial type who spent the time to orchestrate the room layout. The Spa was more like a Therme, this is the best Spa in the area (by far.....). Any time a hotel can have an augusse person every hour they get my kudos. The first lady had to be an ex-Russian Ballet dancer, OMG, what a performance. The Spa is in a separate building, on top of a hill/cliff that is attached by a hallway/lift, way kool. The hotel gives you 3 hours of free spa- more then enough. The spa is above a thermal break in the tentonic plates where by steam and minerals come to the surface. The hotel has an outdoor pool with thermal water at 38C, so much fun. Christmas festival behind the hotel (small but nice) and walking paths along river. Plenty of great dining in/around hotel. Comfortable bed and TV with a lot of channels. Was very impressed.

We wanted to get a doctor's consultant at a hotel to receive treatments that cannot be ordered without a referral and to treat drinking, and it turned out to be impossible, because we did not order a hotel package for the treatments, but only stayed in the hotel room. Meals in this type of hotel can be more interesting and varied.

Our stay was amazing, it was a weekend to enjoy the thermal baths. The room was exactly was described, clean and spacious. The staff was very gentile, the location super, and the breakfast very good, with many options. The thermal bath is amzing, and even being a cold weekend, it was not full. Recommend!

The hotel did not offer neither one bottle of water, indeed the freezer at the room was completely empty. If you want something, you need to down until the bar. For a hotel of this size I was expecting at least a bottle of water in the room.

I don't get why this hotel doesn't have a higher score -- maybe because it is surrounded by other great hotels in the generally fancy Karlovy Vary? Everything was great; it's a huge hotel and isn't too busy in winter so they gave me an early check in when I arrived. The rooms have gorgeous panoramic windows, warm wood furnishings, cream carpets -- a very modern, Scandinavian feel. You can use your bathrobe and slippers to go to the spa -- I only tried the outdoor thermal pools (you can use them for 3 hrs per night of stay, which is totally enough), but there's no limit on using the indoor pool (note that this one opens at 13 pm on workdays, and 10 am on the weekends). The pool area is spotless and is continually cleaned; it's nextdoor to a restaurant where you can get snacks. Breakfast was great. The hotel is right downtown, within easy walking distance from both the bus/train station (15 min) and the rest of town (takes about 20 min to walk to the other edge of town).

That I stayed only 1 night, lol. I want more!
