The most stunning design of the hotel, our room was 200%exceptional. One of the most excuisite rooms I have stayed in. Spacious, and with most tasteful decor and art pieces. Inviting and invigorating tones. Real thought and style went into making it . And the balcony was just massive and huge. The room was my favorite thing about our stay. I did not want to leave the room.. As a matter of fact, I would go back for the room... Stunning. I loved breakfast... Because mimosas of course. That was a lovely touch. Amazing. The incredible staff let us check out late. Thank you.

The dinner, very very very mediocre for that level of hotel. Absolutely borderline unexptable level of food and pairings. It was a complex bore and did not highlight the price or the exclusiveness of the hotel. It's The Waldorf... We expect way better. Very disappointing as we checked in late were expecting dinner to be amazing. Terrible

Waldorf Astoria was the best staycation I had in RAK. The hospitality, attention to detail and quality of service is top. From the time I checked-in, every experience was great! The breakfast is amazing, the variety of food is very good. Caters to different people and tastes. The restaurant options within Waldorf are also great. Especially the steakhouse on the ground floor. (just super) The rooms were spacious, well-kept and frequently serviced by their room service team. The staff went above and beyond to provide us with everything and truly made our day.

Beautiful property with a kid friendly activities and private beach. Very friendly and helpful staff and great buffet breakfast along with restaurant choices.

Only one small item to mention is that there are a lot of people after 9 am at breakfast which creates long wait times at popular stations like eggs, pancakes, etc. Better to go as early as possible.

The hotel is enormous and truly palatial in design. The decor is absolutely stunning, and I would rate it a full 10/10 on that alone. The grandeur and aesthetics make a lasting impression. However, the service falls well below expectations. The front office staff, in particular, require better supervision and training. Calls often go unanswered, and I had to dial two or three times to get a response. The staff lacks professionalism and attentiveness, which detracts significantly from the overall experience. The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection, but again, there’s a lack of oversight. On two occasions, the same items were served lukewarm, which should not happen in a hotel of this caliber. The room was very spacious, well-equipped with all necessary amenities, and featured a large terrace — spacious enough to host a small gathering. Housekeeping was excellent, consistently following up for turndown service and maintaining high standards. One major disappointment was the extra charge for high-speed internet. In a five-star-plus property, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi should be standard. Despite some service shortcomings, the hotel remains a top destination in the UAE, offering extensive amenities and experiences for guests of all ages.

We travelled to RAK to do the Zipline and so we requested late check out because the trip from the hotel to the location would take 1.5 hours approx per trip. Which means we lose 3 hours, not to mention the time actually doing the zip line adventure will take. We checked in late at 6 PM and if we were to check out as per the standard 12 PM check out time, it would have a big loss because we wouldn't have enjoyed anything at the hotel. Upon check in, the Front Desk staff (Mary) gave us late check out till 2 PM and asked us to check again and confirm the next morning. Upon checking in the morning and explaining the situation, the Frond Desk extended till 4 PM. That was the best thing ever throughout all my other hotel stays. The late check out made a huge difference and enabled us to enjoy dinner at the hotel, go to the zipline adventure, come back for breakfast and even use the swimming pool. It was really an exceptional experience. Even after check out and while we are leaving the hotel, The gentleman at the entrance (I think Bassam or Hussam, sorry can't remember the name!) When I said to him that I would love to try some Arabic coffee, he so kindly went back in and got me a delicious cup of coffee to help me stay awake and fresh for my trip all the way back to Abu Dhabi. These people really made a difference and it will be an unforgettable stay indeed in all, but particularly for these sweet personal gestures of the staff. Thank you very much indeed!

Beautiful resort everything was to a high standard. Loved the room renovations the 2 bed family room was excellent and generously sized. Kids club was great kids were happy to go there daily. Buffet was lovely nice choice and good quality. Staff very friendly and happy to see you. Dinner at Lexington and Uni was great.

They forgot one of my daughters birthday. Every other resort we have been to during this time there would have been a cake in room. And during Xmas period usually there are daily treats in the room when you come back which is always nice and they didn’t do anything. Need more music around the pool area it seemed quite dull in the day unless you were at the adult pool which we couldn’t go to as we have children.

- great staff - beautiful facilities (hotel itself, spa, swimming pools...) - green spaces well maintained and very pleasant - we haven't ever seen a so well organized swimming pool staff (with codes between them, rotating, never on any kind of device, very vigilant, make you feel safe and safe for your little ones) - the restaurant staff well attentive for you, among who, Micky, Milan, RJ - spa staff very gentle and welcoming as a therapist in particular Mina - books at the entrance of restaurant and in kids club, decice/screen free! Very well appreciated

the hotel is really nice, the staff is very kind, helpful and looking to help you anytime. the food is amazing (Azure restaurant is really top) and the buffet, even if really small, has a taste of unique and we enjoyed a lot. the room was amazing, really big and comfortable for a family.

even if the room was fantastic, the humidity inside was really bad. we slept in wet beds and the small of the sheets were horrible. the kid's club is far away from the pool and the entrance and there is no way to reach it from the reception or other entrance. during the summer it's a bit complicated to reach it with kids because of the heat.

The beach was not what I expected. You have to go far enough to swim.
