Loved the suite. It feels more like an apartment than a hotel room with the kitchenette. The full size refrigerator and dishwasher were a nice feature for longer stays. It was very comfortable, and I love the dishes and wine glasses! The facility is a little older but overall well kept and, in a convenient location. I booked it to attend a concert, and the venue was only about 8 miles away. There's lots of restaurants and shopping nearby so this is a great location.

Breakfast ends at 8:30 on Sunday morning which caught a lot of the guests off guard. However, the lady who was there that morning could not have been more gracious. I'm so sorry I can't remember her name. Sharon maybe? She very kindly offered us yogurt before going back into the kitchen to make egg and cheese English muffins for myself and 3 other guests. Great attitude and wonderful service! She was probably tired and could have turned us away, but she made sure we had a hot breakfast before she left. We were very grateful!

I loved the southern hospitality from the staff! So sweet! Everyone always said “good morning”, held doors, etc. one of the house keeping staff scolded me for taking out my own trash! She was so sweet and insisted I didn’t need to take the empty pizza box out to the dumpster and she would take care of it.

Room could have used a little TLC but that wasn’t what we were there for. It was the experience not the furnishings. Also, we ran out of toilet paper and the towels were big enough to cover half my body haha so maybe a quick turn down during a 4 night stay but I could have gone to the front and asked for towels and toilet paper so no big deal! There were also some very strong fragrant smells in the common areas which definitely induced a headache, maybe fresh air instead of air fresheners? Overall, no regrets with choice of hotel!

How the rooms are set up

The room wasn’t really clean. The crew was here for a deep clean of carpets and the air conditioner/furnace which they didn’t do a deep clean as there was still stuff on the bathroom floor tile and dirt on the furnace/air vent. Dirt clinging to the vent is awful and there was a guest card under the dresser the tv is on. I saw it sticking out and I’m turning it in to the desk when we leave.

The location was wonderful. We stayed on the third floor but the elevator, stairs, entrance points (3) were very accessible so there were multiple places to park. There was a beautiful courtyard with a pool, basketball court and barbecue area adjacent to the office where breakfast was served. Several smoking areas.

The room was very comfortable. We had made a reservation for three but only had two towels and two coffee cups. We went to the desk and received more towels.

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. That made me feel right at home. The room was clean and spacious. The property was kept up nicely.

There were guests in the hallway around 2:30am that were so loud they woke me and my partner and kept us up for a while. I know this is not the fault of the hotel, but it was the biggest negative of the stay.

Breakfast, pool toys. Pillows were nice.

Listing said 1 king 1 queen. Both beds were queen. Staff was reluctant to give us new sheets when our baby spit up on the bed. Not enough kitchen necessities, ie cookie sheet or place settings. Mattresses were hard & uncomfortable.

A quick overnight on cross country road trip. The hotel was a convenient off and on the interstate. Room was clean, bed and pillows comfy. Very large room with ample bathroom space. We did not use the kitchenette, but looked well appointed. Grab and go breakfast was better than most.....hot breakfast sandwiches wrapped to go, juice and the coffee was good. Will keep this on our radar for a future stay.

I think all hotels are priced very high now.....I have been traveling for years for business and the prices now have gone up very much.

Location

Furniture was old. We couldn't even hang out in the living room area (2 bedroom suite) because the couch was so worn out and old. That was the main reason we got the suite, so we could sit in that area and talk.

Due to the layout I feel safe alone and with just my kids, the room is very spacious and always clean, and the staff has ALWAYS been so kind every time we have stayed here!

The room I stayed in needs a new mattress. It was wore out like sleeping in a hole. The other room the mattress was good
