Location was great walking distance to main street and close to trails and Lake Placid. The breakfast was not that appetizing ...Sausage and oatmeal on the hot plates, cereal and apples...Oranges and banana would have bee appreciated and maybe yogurt and egg or some other form of protein... waffle maker wasn't working while I was there. I stayed there mostly for the location.

Breaffast was in need of eggs working waffle maker,and maybe more than just Apples in way of fruit. The oatmeal was all they had hot and it was gross...not one of the best CONTINENTAL HOTEL breakfasts I have encountered

Sebastian was an amazing host. He was so nice and helpful. He met all my expectations and more. Very professional and accommodating. Loved his energy and he found a solution immediately. He was the reason why our horrific weekend turn into an amazing experience. We deff look forward to visiting again! THANK YOU SEBASTIAN!!!!!!

The breakfast was really bad. The coffee was watery as well as the juices. The selection was not appealing or enticing. To be honest the coffee in our room was way better.

Customer service was excellent. I had the pleasure of meeting Rebecca, Sabastian, and a member of the cleaning staff, and each of them was professional, kind, and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, and the location was convenient and made my stay even better.

Breakfast was good; a lot of options and very convenient. Given I was doing the Ironman Lake Placid on Sunday my breakfast was key. So that worked out very well. Also, all the staff were super friendly and helpful.

Only downside to trip was that I wasted $1,200 on an extra room that I didn't end up using. It wasn't Best Western's fault but I wish I pursued other options so that I could have at least saved some of that $1,200.

Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Relatively close (about 25min) from Whiteface mountain and very close to Sarnac city center (<5min drive)

No elevators, so if you need to get luggage to 2nd floor and you have a lot - could be tough. Parking lot was almost full for 2 nights we were staying.

Breakfast was decent. Location was nice, our son was able to fish right near the hotel. Pool was clean. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

We wished there was a bit more food choices for breakfast.

Apparently we were put in a disabled person room. The light switches were too low and are two and a half year old was able to turn them on and off. The door handles were the kinds that she was able to open and close. And worst of all she was able to open the door to the hallway; even though she couldn't get out she could open it if she needed to and throw things out there or talk to people or whatever. I'm not sure why we were given that room because we are not disabled.

Peaceful, very peaceful! Everything worked and I was able to park my vehicle right outside my window which was a huge plus for me!

The mattress was a little soft for me, but I also use an extra firm.

Nice room, great location.

I think the outside could use some TLC. Upon arrival we thought it wasn’t going to be nice inside because the outside looked old and dirty. But once inside it was nice and clean.

It was a good location to the town. It was comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The pool water could have been warmer. The room was nice & warm but the water was too cold.
