The online pictures don’t do justice and I was really surprised how spacious and clean this place was. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was good size for our party of 9. Kids had a great time by the water skipping rocks and watching beavers and geese. Walking distance from Indian restaurant and large supermarket. We had a great time overall and parking right outside was easier to load and unload cars. The location is conveniently located near lake placid, mirror lake, high gorge and whiteface mountain. We did only couple of hikes but this place has many more for seasonal hikers. Just a fyi- you need to pick up your keys from different location 1 mile away from actual place. Our highlight was fire pit by water. We all enjoyed the fire for hours and it was extremely peaceful.

Very close to Main Street and Mirror Lake. Across the street from Hannaford so it was very easy to shop for anything. The kitchenette has kitchen implements, full stove/range, dishwasher, fridge. Just needed groceries so, no problem getting them. It was very clean and temperature is well regulated by 2 AC heating units. Parking on site. WiFi was reliable.

The bed was not the most comfortable, but I’m hard to please in that regard. It is managed mainly out of the Placid Inn boutique hotel branch downtown. You have to check in there before heading to the Residences. At the time we were there they were short staffed so there was a delay checking in. Not a big deal for us but if you’re the kind that wants everything on the dot… well, you catch my drift.

Location was perfect, parking was on site and easily accessible, heat was thermostatically controlled which allowed the preferred temperature at all times, pots and pans with dishwasher were available in the room, shower was excellent (although there was a little mold on the squeegee and on the gaskets in the shower corners, but no big deal there), bed was huge and comfortable and clean.

The WiFi was very weak, and I had to resort to using my own personal hotspot so my kids could watch TV during the evening. I also wished we had gotten more thorough instructions on check out/best practices I.e. what to do with garbage bags, what to do with room key, expectations on how clean we should keep the room, etc.

The wifi was down and the TVs were broken. When calling to just inform staff of the issues, the receptionist was slightly rude and the hotel wasn’t willing to fix either problem or give a discount rate due to false advertisement of amenities on the property. Also i booked this property with the “pay on arrival” and they charged my card prior to me arriving at my stay. I was there for just a night but hopefully to those that stay longer, get a better attitude from staff. Also the price was kinda outrageous.

The property was very good with a very good location, near the supermarket.

The wifi was very weak and we had numerous issues on computers and phones. That was very frustrating, especially with weak cell coverage as well. We couldn’t find any other garbage bags, otherwise we would’ve cleaned up and taken out the garbage. The knives weren’t sharp, so we found it difficult to cut veggies for a salad. Without oven mitts, we had to use a towel to take things out of the oven.

Lake placid inn residences exactly what I was looking for, a cabin feel but connected to everything you need and wanted. It gives you that secluded feel with plenty of outdoor relaxation, convenient equipment at your disposal, firepits, lounge chairs, and several large barrel style grills and comfortable lounge chairs right at your front door as well. Property well kepted. Now, once I opened the door to my apartment on grounds (1-bedroom). It EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS JUST GORGEOUS!!! To put it simple, all you need to bring is food to cook and yourself they(lake placid inn - staff) THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING down to the dish soap!!! CHARLIE, MILA, and THE BEAUTIFUL MANAGER I MET ON GROUNDS SUNDAY I THANK YOU GUY'S FOR MAKING MY MUCH NEEDED 'RECHARGE, REGROUP, RELAX' GETAWAY THE BEST I'VE HAD IN YEARS. MUCH LOVE FROM BUFFALO, NY

That I could not stay longer!

2 bdrs each with their own bathroom was excellent. Kitchen was nice and property was spacious and decent. Good parking and proximity to amenities was good.

The 2nd bedroom (with 2 beds), the mattresses were short, not made for tall people like me. It would have been wonderful to have a starter kit such as coffee and filters. We bought our own. The advertising for this didn't say if it was a Keurig or what type of coffeemaker was offered - maybe this would be good for people to prepare. The televisions didn't work but we unplugged them and it seemed to do the job and WiFi was very poor.

It was a beautiful apartment with all the amenities that i need. Perfect location near to all the shops and restaurant. The only downside is that the keys is not located in the location of the apartment, you have to drive (5mins drive) to go to the main reception of Lake Placid Inn..

Key is not in the apartment itself, no reception area.

Big front room with full kitchen and big window looking out into the mountains. King bed in a big bedroom with a 2 door bathroom in the superior room.

The place was clean. Kitchen lacked a few utensils that we lacked for food preparation but improvised with what was provided. Beds (bedroom & pull out couch) were comfortable. Were away from the hustle & bustle of the main street patrons. We were a 6 min drive to location where key was picked up. We walked to main street Lake Placid (10 min). Best to walk than try to find a parking space.
