Superb location right on Lake Flower on the outskirts of the city of Saranac Lake. The location was generally quiet and calm with a TON of ammenities that made this stay extremely worth it. We were in a great location for hiking St. Regis and Ampersand Mountains, and my friends and I were very pleased with being able to take kayaks out on the lake. The room we had was a standard double with two double beds. It was small but efficient. The room was clean - even smelled clean and fresh when we opened the door. They have an ice box and water refill station which we used quite frequently since we were hiking. The icebox was well maintained and I had no qualms about cleanliness. The staff were very friendly, went out of their way to show you around and checked in if you needed anything. I am very pleased!!

There's not much to dislike. This isn't elegance at its finest - its comfort and simple ammenities for a relaxed lake vacation. The parking lot is small, but during our stay we had no problems finding a spot. I think if you go on a weekend during peak season it might be a challenge.

The room provided everything we needed for a few nights away with my elderly mother. It was easy to access, had a good kitchen, comfortable beds, and was generally very clean. We also greatly enjoyed having immediate access to the hotel's kayaks and the lake. We loved the old school Adirondack vibe.

There were only a few very minor issues. The kitchen was sufficiently equipped with cookware but had very minimal silverware (not enough for the three of us). Luckily we had our own.

Location - obviously. Wow! Worth the splurge for balcony to stare at the lake and mountains and trees. Ahhhh….. Although I did not use them, I appreciated the kayaks and canoes available for use. Saw many folks using them. A few good restaurants and Aldi grocery store right nearby.

Almost nothing really negative to say. Some extra traffic noise from the closeness to the road wasn’t great. The occasional neighbor smoking was yucky.

Love the location (right on the water) and the easy availability of kayaks, paddles and life jackets so that you can just get on the water at a moment's notice without having to find someone to gear up. The Adirondack touches - birch signs, carved bears, deer tracks in the concrete make you really feel like you're on vacation somewhere special and the convenient location about 4 minutes from downtown makes it easy to pop in and back!

Stayed here four years ago and the prices are definitely inflated. Didn't realize there still wasn't cleaning or towel changes each day.

Great internet. Small fridge, need more electrical outlets to recharge phone, iPad, etc. Will bring an electrical strip next time I come. Just wanted a break from all the politics and the news cycle. Good to drive around the park and see some of the changes in the leaves. Hoss, from Brooklyn, was great.

Could have used more baseboard heating, but I could have brought a blanket. Learn for next trip.

Quaint inn within walking distance to restaurants and stores in saranac lake town. Beautifully located on lake flower as well and nice to have bicycles and kayaks available for use. The room was clean and beds comfortable.

It was expensive for what is was at well over $500 for two nights. It was iron man marathon weekend so cost per night was increased at nearly double the rate than the next weekend.

We liked the location, the owners are very friendly, the bed was somewhat comfortable. We liked the fact that they have kayaks available for guest use.

We ended up with a smaller room since the one that we booked had a broken pipe. It could use another small table for the coffee maker instead of on top of the refrigerator. The curtains were hard to open and close. Could use newer curtains. The sheets and towels could use an extra rinse cycle since the bleach smell on them was too strong. The screen on the back porch lacked one of the bottom rollers so it was hard to open and close the screen door.

Loved the view of Lake Flower from our balcony. The room was spacious. The front desk person was very nice. Great water pressure in the shower too. The pool was refreshing.

The bathroom was pretty small and there wasn't any where to put soap in the shower. Not a big deal though.

Friendly staff. Nice location. Was extremely pleased to know they don't charge a rental fee to use the kayaks, peddle boat, etc. Walked in and smelled the cleanliness of our room. That is what I like. We had 5 pillows on our bed. Loved that. They had coffee in the room with actual coffee cups to drink from and glass cups to use.

Beds need updating. In Room # 52. Not very comfortable

Located by Flower Lake. The Inn provides free boats, canoes and kayaks. My family did canoeing. One staff said the bikes were free as well. We enjoyed the sunset.

The toilet room is too small. There is only one chair inside the room. The Inn charged $7 more than the booking rate. I didn’t know why but didn’t argue with them.
