The owners are fantastic hosts! We had great conversations, they were extraordinarily helpful and generous and the breakfast was delicious! Our room was beautiful and comfortable and spotless. The B&B is a beautiful historic building that has been meticulously maintained.

Charming old fashioned B&B. Great breakfast served as early as 7 am. The owners were very friendly and helpful and it made the whole experience very pleasant.

Gorgeous home with history. Feels like a home away from home. Super clean and well kept. Great proximity to Lake Placid and downtown Saranac Lake and the lake. The owners are so warm and welcoming, truly made our stay super enjoyable. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway!

The noise carries easily from room to room, can easily hear your neighbour talking, moving around, etc. Our room didn’t have the bathroom attached to our room, but it was just around the corner and was private.

We traveled to Saranac Lake and were very happy that we chose Franklin Manor. Everything was excellent! Rob, the host was always available by a quick text if we needed anything and provided delicious breakfasts. The house was huge and provided ample space for to sit and relax, especially the sun room and porch. We're definitely planning a return trip.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Franklin Manor. Rob and Carly were exceptional hosts, spending time with my husband and me to fill us in on the best places to have dinner, to hike, and rent a kayak so we could spend a day on the water. And the breakfasts! We got spoiled with the great meals to start our day.

Everything! Such a comfortable and beautiful place to stay in. The hospitality is unmatched. Very clean, and there is nothing lacking when staying here. Our hosts were amazing! The food was delicious, and the attention to detail is unsurpassed. We were really spoiled and hated to leave.

The whole Manor was beautiful, wide open spaces, windows and plenty of areas to sit and relax. We loved the library and window seat the most. Our room was perfect for one night away. The bathroom was decorated so nicely! We really appreciated the fans that were available since we like some noise while we sleep. My husband and I agreed we'd love to stay here again in the summer!
