Easy and quick to get to from the airport (I had a car), so, nice location. Lots of stores nearby, including an Aldi. Staff was nice and polite on the few occasions I interacted with them. Room / suite was spacious and well-equipped with a kitchenette. Well-stocked with plates, cups, cutlery, etc. Had a good fridge + freezer size. I have a feeling the room / suite was somewhat soundproof, which was a plus.

The door to the bathroom was a bit hard to work with; it's a kind of sliding door, and the sliding function didn't work very well, leading to struggling whenever one had to enter or exit the bathroom. The door to the back stairwell closes very hard and loudly, which could be heard from my room / suite. Breakfast was a little meagre.

I liked the staff. The breakfast was good there was no bacon website said there was bacon. False advertisement. Room was a nice size. Bed was very firm.

No bacon during breakfast & absolutely no butter for toast/bagels. Bed was very firm I found myself in much pain the next morning. Pool was over run with peoples kids. There was a point where people left their kids with out supervision. There were soooo many kids it was overwhelming to swim. Teenagers were in the hot tub doing god knows what on top of each other.. With no supervision. Pool room was freezing!!! I’d say this is where city people come to “hang”. Some lady was at the front desk screaming and yelling because she was being told to leave. Prob will not stay here again.

The breakfast was good. The guy was very helpful. The staff was helpful as well.

I didn't like the $200 /250 security deposit. I think that's highway robbery. It interferes with the customers finances and purchasing powe & ability. For instance, of a patron only has $400 on their credit card, and they pay $100 plus for that night, then assessed another $250 on hold. How can they say they enjoyed themselves from an economical standpoint? I understand policy, but reducing it to a more feasible amount will still attract higher customers. It should be $50 for award members and maybe $100 for non members.

I liked the full kitchen, good air conditioning and the hot tub. The room felt like an apartment. The staff explained the benefits of becoming a Wyndham member. The court yard felt open and a great place to eat a meal or take a break.

The hotel could use a little touch up with some of the swipe card locks not working and the one of the buttons to summon the elevator not working. The water drained slowly in the bathroom. The wallpaper was showing the age of the building. The breakfast selection looked stale and the waffles were the best part.

We were not expecting much due to the reviews, but the room we requested, two queens and a king came with 2 bathrooms which is unheard of, and a decent kitchen. Even though it was a tad run down, everything was clean and comfortable, we personally dont care about a little wall paper pealing or carpet a bit stained, the bathrooms were clean and updated, the beds were super comfortable and the lines were clean and crisp. The staff was super nice and helpful. The breakfast was fine, same every day but at least it was something and the coffee was decent. We loved the big room and the location was perfect for us visiting family and able to get to many stores and restaurants easily.

Probably needs new carpet, re wall paper some areas - change up breakfast from sausage to bacon and different types of pastries and breads

The staff is incredible and very accommodating. The room size was good, to include a full size fridge and a gas range to cook. There are grills outside for guest use. I felt very comfortable and cozy during my stay. Breakfast options were plentiful, the coffee is amazing! Every cup of coffee is freshly brewed. The pool was very nice and everything was very clean. The location is very convenient and allows access to anywhere in WNY within 20 mins.

A pipe for the pool had burst and the pool was closed the last day of our stay, causing me to switch hotels as having pool accommodations is a must have for my family. There is a really nice (small but does the job!) basketball court, however the hotel does not provide basketballs. Same for the putt putt area- very cute and perfect for the younger kids however the hotel does not provide putters or balls. If you want to play either, you have to bring your own supplies. The website needs to be updated.

Very quiet, unlike most hotels in the area. They also had multiple rooms at the last minute. We are empty nesters and usually book rooms last minute after a night out when we cant make it home. Hawthorne was affordable under $200 and had clean rooms available. Have to give Hawthorne a HUGE ROUND OF APPLAUSE for being the only hotel-suite that provides Dove toiletries-its the same stuff I use at home!

Breakfast was great. I was pleasantly surprised to learn there was a fire pit, basketball court, and a hot tub in the pool area! Great location only a couple minutes down the road from shops.

There was limited seating in the breakfast area. In the room we stayed in, there seemed to be some mold on the ceiling of the bathroom where the shower is, nothing too major though.

The size of the suite and Location

Another guest above me must of had a dog that just ran wild all night and all I could hear was the running, bumping and banging all night. I complained to front desk multiple times and they informed me that there was nothing that they could do about it because they didn't know what room exactly it was coming from because of they lay out which is completely B.S., They just didn't want to handle the problem. I would recommend trying to get a higher floor so you don't incur th8s problem

Breakfast was great, loved that the size of the room with separate bedroom, 2 room bathroom, kitchen and living room. Great for a budget hotel.

Pool was open but heavily chlorinated, we only got 2 towels in the room for 2 adults and a child (didn’t bother to ask for a third cos we only realised midway through getting ready). Neither was a big deal.
