All staff was extremely professional, friendly and caring. Lobby, bar , breakfast and shuttle folks made me feel welcome. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family. I had eaten a few times at Russ', always a fantastic experience, hotel stay was same. Came to my rescue that nite got stuck in Buffalo, and frankly glad the other "big name" hotels were booked on June 28. I had a great meal at the bar, Ashley was courteous and made a great martini. Lots of fresh-CLEAN towels, keurig in room and provided toiletries very nice surprise. Thank you for being my "Oasis" on a very disrupted business travel journey.

Nothing could have been better, Russ and team continue to deliver best in class service.

The hotel offers luxurious and elegant accommodations that far surpass those of standard hotel chains like Hilton or Marriott. Every aspect of the stay was exceptional - from the spotless cleanliness and spacious rooms to the stylish furnishings, peaceful ambiance, and warm, professional staff. The hotel itself is a destination, offering guests an experience of upscale elegance. The Patriots and Heroes Park is located on the hotel grounds. It is the realization of the vision of the owner, Russell Salvatore, and is both impressive and inspiring. The park is beautifully maintained and adds a unique, meaningful touch to the property. The hotel location is convenient - just minutes from the airport and the University at Buffalo, and only a short 30-minute drive to the attractions of Niagara Falls.

While the breakfast was adequate, I would have appreciated the inclusion of premium brands such as Chobani or Siggi’s yogurts, Tropicana juices, fresh croissants, and French Brie. I do not mind to pay a small room surcharge for an upgraded breakfast selection.

Conveniently located, great fine dining restaurant, fantastic bar and bar staff. Russell is highly involved and has put his heart and soul into the hotel and restaurant. You will usually see him working when you go off to bed at night regardless of how late it may be and greeting you the following morning in the breakfast dining room. Note, don’t mistake the other two Salvatore hotels up the road for Salvatore’s Grand Hotel. Those others are now owned and managed by Russel’s children. I had a very bad experience at one of them that was handled poorly (as in no response at all, and I wasn’t seeking anything other than an apology for the front desk giving keys to a man that entered my room while I was in it. He was later taken out of the hotel, arrested by 3 policeman in the hotel lobby after refusing offers by the police to take him to a psych clinic). Very scary sitch. So, make sure you book your stay at this property - SALVATORE’S GRAND HOTEL only!!

While the Buffett breakfast is great overall, it would be great if they did not salt the scrambled eggs AT ALL. Same for the potatoes . Let people add salt themselves should they choose.

Location was excellent. The hotel was actually beautifully decorated. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast very nice. I liked the real plates and silverware. Eve was friendly and kept everything stocked. She's a gem. And a MUST is dining in Russell's steak restaurant at the property. Waiters are impeccable and food is delicious. I can't forget to mention Mr. Salvotore's Patriots & Heroes Park. Mr. Russell Salvatore has created a memorial that is patriotic and beautiful. We were absolutely speechless and humbled, walking through the display. Russell Salvotore we, COMPLIMENTI YOU!!!!

Bed was a bit hard and sagged towards the center to head. Not a big deal but, I absolutely hate cheap toilet paper. For such a nice hotel it was the kind that your finger goes through therefore, I would pull out more than really needed.

The breakfast was ok, like most other places but then a lady came out with some hot pastries which were delicious. I ended up staying the night before I left, as I had an early flight, had dinner at the restaurant with family, dinner was delicious, and the service was excellent. It is a credit to Mr. Russell Salvatore, I was told he puts a lot back into the community which is fantastic to see.

Would of liked to have meet Mr. Russell he was sitting with some other guests.

Our room was very comfortable and spacious. We liked the choice and variety of breakfast offerings. Very pleasant dining area with plenty of seating. Staff was also very attentive. Also impressive was the daily presence of Mr. Salvatore. We saw him at dinner the night before and then again each morning. He acts a good 30 years younger than than his 91 years!

Aside from the Patriots Park across the way and the front of the hotel, the setting of the hotel is commercial/industrial with not much greenbelt space. Our room at the back of the hotel was on the service side ot the building and we did hear the garbage truck come in in the morning - however, the room was generally quiet. I was pleasantly surprised that the airport noise was minimal or non-existent.

Good location, very good breakfast with sausage, egg and corned hash as protein and excellent muffins, cereals etc for the rest. The place has a unique design and well-decorated interior. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Beds are comfortable. It is a good value overall. Only 30 minutes to the Niagara falls.

They put a booklet itemizing how much it costs you if you steal a towel, a cup or the ironing board. This is ridiculous. Of course, the establishment can charge guests for anything missing in the room, but itemizing things in that way made me feel uncomfortable.

I love that there was a renowned restaurant at the property and the owners are engaged with everyone! The decor everywhere was exceptional..so many pieces of amazing art everywhere but the most fascinating thing was the ongoing video of Niagara Falls playing on the back wall of the bar! Also, the Patriots and Heroes park was extra special…I walked through it several times every day 😔

Wish the breakfast had more healthy options besides fruit…more plant based warm food.

From beginning to end, the Grand delighted me from the over the top scrumptious dinner at Russell’s to the Uber comfy and cozy room. After a long day of travel, the entire experience was soothing and appreciated beyond measure. We even ran into the founder who was still working at 92 1/2 years of age. Such dedication and attention to detail explains his success.

The staff was amazing. The woman at breakfast was great. Our room attendant was excellent. The front desk personnel were helpful when needed.

The fitness center had a very strong odor - not necessarily bad but it smelled like after shave. Also the weight machine appears to be broken. One side was difficult to move the weights so I really could not use it.
