I always enjoy how the staff make you feel so welcome. they go out of their way to make sure they attend to whatever issues you might have while you're staying with them. the breakfast it's pretty decent, the fact that there's a bar there, we have music and dancing.It's also really awesome.

What I didn't like is the hotel is undergoing a lot of construction and maintenance.And once again a year later from my last trip the hot tub is still not open. the other thing I didn't like about the visit was the carpeting, and several other things like walls, doors, reelings or all in various states of disrepair. the worst for me was the staircase that was near our room. The carpet is actually lifted off of the staircase itself in certain sections, because like the staples came out, so if you step down the carpet just yields and you could just topple down. very dangerous, I hope they get everything fixed and repaired soon.I'll look forward to our next trip.

Convenient to airport, clean, quiet (no traffic noise in the room), comfortable beds, spacious rooms, easy access to major roads. The wood carvings were very bold and gave the hotel a pioneering charm. There should be a brief brochure or documentary regarding the artist and origin or inspiration of the scenes depicted. Some of them looked like bear heads or other wild life. Definitely brought about a nostalgic feeling and attraction of the hotel.

It’s a bit isolated from the town commerce for people who arrive by public transport. Perhaps a town shuttle could be organised 3 times a day should patrons need it as a service to the community. An information pack in the rooms showing tours, services and sights in the local area would have made an impact on my stay. An extra luggage caddy would have been nice. Offering a breakfast to go service to patrons who have to catch an early flight would be very helpful.

We were very happy with getting a room near the elevator and an outside door with handicapped parking. In addition we loved the bathroom which is handicapped equipped. So it was simple for us to move our luggage and other belongs from vehicle parked near door to an elevator a few feet from door and then to our room across from elevator. Breakfast was very delicious and very friendly staff. Also easy access to freeway and short drive to the HAPO Ice Arena which was our primary reason for this stay.

Checking in early was not an issue!! Room was big and spacious, I loved having the first floor room because I could walk straight to the pool. Shower pressure was strong but not too strong. The pool was AMAZING and appreciated the swim floats available for guests!

Room smelled musty, but nothing too bad. Also, the breakfast staff was very impatient, didn’t restock any of the breakfast drinks (an hour before breakfast) and was rushing to take breakfast off the table 30 minutes before closing..

The breakfast was one of the best we've had at a hotel. The variety was excellent and everything was hot and the staff was right on top of taking dirty dishes away.

There was nothing we didn't like. We were near the airport & thought the noise would bother us, but it didn't. It was very quiet.

Always love the cleanliness of the room, and how easy it is to ask for things you need like extra towels. Also enjoy the pool and the attention paid to keeping it in good shape.

the food unfortunately still leaves a lot to be desired. you want free breakfast to at least be good breakfast. Every time i see the french toast or bacon I just go eat out somewhere.

LOUIE!!! He is your diamond. What a beautiful soul. He overheard it was my husbands birthday and presented him with a muffin with a candle and a few employees sang happy birthday!!♥️ Plus the pool was well maintained & we had a wonderful time with family there.

We love the scale of the location. It is vast and maze like and makes you feel like you are in a very large area with lots of places to go. The Grizzly Bar is exactly what you need at night, while the Free Breakfast and the Lunch option (for pay) is a great offering. Classically designed with a late 70s feel and modern touches added, it is very comfortable and homey. They have what you need and what else you might, is nearby. Everyone was so very friendly.

The process to check in or even waiting for the one person behind the front desk at different hours can be a little frustrating. I don't mind the wait as much as it is a long process to simply get checked in. But nothing that would keep me away. I have stayed here twice and will stay there in the future.

Customer service was exceptional. The manager Autumn was friendly, helpful and made our stay Better. The staff was also friendly, must be because they have a good example to follow. Breakfast was good.

When the room is on the 2nd floor, there is no elevator, must use stairs.

Beautiful, well-preserved facilities. Some Red Lions we have stayed in have not been in very fine shape after about 50 years or history. This one looks a bit dated in design, but extremely well-cared-for and restored. I loved the wood carved panels in the lobby. And the bar here has very fine huge burgers that made it unnecessary to go elsewhere for dinner.
