The owner went out of his way to help us out in every way; he jump-started our rental car when the battery died, set up a hard-wired ethernet connection for a Zoom interview, recommended beaches and restaurants, and connected us with a friendly and inexpensive driver to take us to the airport. The breakfast was good (especially the egg scramble with ham & cheese), and the whole building and parking area is enclosed in high walls and features a beautiful oasis/swimming pool area complete with song birds, coy, turtles etc. Quite nice. The beach is about 20 minutes away. Neighborhood felt safe.

It was rather difficult to find. iPhone GPS got us within a few blocks, then we asked around until someone recognized the Manaya name. My poor Spanish speaking skills contributed to this difficulty. If you speak Spanish, just call the owners and they will guide you.

We booked this hotel for just 1 night coming from the airport. We just needed a good bed to sleep to get on the road the next day. It's about a half hour drive from the airport (but what a drive, traffic is mad there!) But back to the B&B: The person checking us in was really friendly and helpful. The room was simple but comfortable with a good bed and we slept well. Not too much water pressure in the shower but nothing problematic. We parked outside the door on the street. The breakfast was not super but it did what it is supposed to do. There was a small swimming pool but we did not use it as we were only passing through. All in all this was a cosy, well kept, comfortable place to stay and we felt safe and welcome.

This was what I'd call a boutique hotel and a little oasis within the residential area where it was located. The attention paid to detail and comfort was apparent. Breakfast was delicious and the price was fantastic. The wife and husband who own it where kind and excellent with providing information about the area and how to get around.

First, I want to say that I did not select the frowning face. There is no option to remove it from this section. The area surrounding the hotel was residential and was safe. There were some truly beautiful homes. It was a five minute walk to get to some restaurants and a grocery store. Unfortunately, there was some blight , abandoned houses, empty lots with trash, stray dogs etc. We were told that waste management wasn't like in the US where trash trucks come weekly. It wasn't what we are used to and was part of a different culture. We didn't mind but can see that it may make some people feel uncomfortable.

What can I say? It exceeded all my expectations. The place is more than beautiful, all cozy and familiar. The two owners are super cute and helpful. The staff is very kind and awesome. The place was very clean and it has all you need, a comfy bed, a nice and refreshing pool and the breakfast is very sufficient and tasty. People complaining about the location is ridiculous, the place has a purpose, you’re close to the airport and it gives you a really nice price and you get way more than what you pay.

I really could not say enough about all the owners have invested to make sure your stay is well supplied, clean, refreshing and relaxing. I had a flight delay and they seamlessly rescheduled my reservation. The property is meticulously cared for with great privacy, clean pool, excellent simple breakfast. The owners make you feel very welcome. I would highly recommend and will stay here again😀

Would not change a thing

The owner was really nice and helped us with information. The garden, pool area is fantastic green with plants, birds, small lake with fishes and turtles. For breakfast we could choose from 3 different menus. All were great and enough.

Our room itself was spacious but a bit outdated and dark. During the night a family arrived to the room above us and we realized there is only a wood floor separating us, so we could literally hear everything despite they did not intend to be loud. We stayed only one night and generally it was OK for that.

The bathroom walls could use a little freshening up and the shower pressure was uneven. These are really minor details and we enjoyed our 1-night stay at Manaya before catching our flight back to Canada the next day

Very pleasant environment in -and outdoors. Extremely helpfull hosts overall we are very satisfied with our stay.

Included breakfast was good. Off-street parking was helpful. Pool looked nice but wasn't there long enough to use. Room was sufficient for our one-night stay. Very good Venezuelan cafe just down the street.

A little tricky to find. The TV needs to be replaced. Sounded like the speakers in it were about to fail, making watching anything useless.

It was a quiet stay, the place is very nice, away from the hustle and bustle of the main street, quiet room, everything worked, breakfast surprised = we really enjoyed it. I recommend if you need to rest and sleep.

It is far from the beach, I recommend having a car, it was not easy to find, I stayed one night and enjoyed the accommodation.
