Desk staff, Amanda, was very helpful, she spoke very good English, she helped us order pizza delivery, and she was very friendly. The shuttle ride, for $6, to the airport was on time, friendly driver who lives next door to the hotel, and only 8 minutes from airport. This is a small, clean, and comfortable hotel that met all of our needs for $40. We were only there less than 12 hours and were able to sleep from 8pm to 2am so it was perfect for us.

The airport transportation worked very well: it was easy, safe and quick and cost only 6 usd and you could pay it to the hotel's reception. The location near the airport was good for a short stay. There was also a big shopping mall near the accommondation and some good restaurants within a walking distance. Breakfast was available and cost 5 usd inclueding toast, scrambled egg, juice and coffee.

Clean rooms, easy and quick $6 transfer from the airport with WiFi, hot showers and AC. All you need for an overnight between flights. Perfectly affordable for a family of 5. Close to Mall of de Sol! Staff were amazing with questions and pickups and transfers!

Rooms are bare minimum- no decorations or fancy comforters but really wasn’t necessary for the 15 hrs we were in town.

Room was comfortable. Staff are great and helpful getting the taxi to the airport after my 3 hr flight delay.

As common in South America, there are not hand railings on the stairs. This made it a bit more difficult for me getting up and down. They have a fairly long flight of steps to the first floor. I was unable to get hot water with the instant hot water shower head.

So happy to have found this place - in fact it was the only hotel that would accept late night (after midnight) arrivals! And they even had a taxi on hand to take us from the airport to the hotel. The staff was friendly, and helpful and answered any question we had; breakfast next door was delicious, and co-owner Christian doubled as a tour guide and driver. He took us on a half-day tour of Guayaquil and was an excellent source of information about the area; he also drove us to and fro to Cuenca and added in his expertise as a tour guide! All in all, a terrific experience. This may be a 'no frills' hotel but it is exceptionally clean, with comfortable beds, amazing bathrooms (!), and is very close to the airport.

The Hotel is nice but not fancy. It was very Clean. It was quiet. The staff was wonderful and helpful. We stayed one night because our flight was at 6:00 am. They arranged for a driver to take us to the airport at 3:00 am. Everything worked out very well.

It was a little hard to find. But after asking for help from someone in the area we had no trouble finding the Hotel.

The location is good, very close to the bus terminal and the airport. It is also a safe area and it's a short walk to the mall del sol. This time I was there long enough to enjoy the breakfast too and the service at the hotel restaurant was very friendly. The breakfast itself was good too. From the hotel most sightseeing places in Guayaquil are reachable by taxi in just around 10 minutes. The rooms are air conditioned which is an absolute necessity when staying in Guayaquil. A big plus for this location is that it is quiet (you don't find this often in Ecuador).

There is no hair dryer in the room, and the shower in the bathroom isn't separated (on the floor) from the rest of the bathroom which means water from showering will spill all over the bathroom floor. But this is absolutely ok for the price of the rooms.

This was the third time a family member stayed at DC Suites, and again it was a pleasant stay. The family knows very well how to communicate with the clients. They offer an excellent pick up service from the airport. The room was very clean and comfortable. The suites are well located, near the airport. So this is a perfect spot for travelers who need to be close to the airport or bus terminal.

Pleasant stay as always. David, Christian, and crew are always great. They always allow us to store meds in the fridge and have a driver we can hire to get around. If you are in Guayaquil looking for a room near ther airport, that's the place to stay.

The shower didn't get hot and I forgot to let them know. It was hot for all our previous visits and I am sure they would have fixed it.

We liked being close to both the airport and bus terminal. Our room was clean and comfortable. A shuttle ($6) is offered between the airport or the bus terminal from the hotel. Make sure you have WhatsApp as that is the easiest way to coordinate a ride through the hotel.
