As far as Sheraton hotel go, this one is on the basic side of the spectrum. Our first room was on the fourth floor and had an odd smell that was covered by a lot of perfume to mask it. The room was older and they were doing renovations so very loud and we were upgraded with no fuss at all by the amazing staff. The staff are the best part of the hotel (Omar and the front desk especially). But also the restaurant staff are exceptional too. The breakfast buffet is fantastic. Five stars and worth the price of the room. The rooms are very basic but super great shower and bathroom. Lovely sauna and gym. We had a lovely stay overall. Very convenient location with easy access to the mall so we could get our pantry items for our house down on the coat at the Mega Maxi. That was a great benefit and why we planned our stay here. Thank you!!

The hotel has a convenient location, across the street from "Mall del Sol", 10 minute drive from the airport, 15 minutes to the City Center. Rooms are comfortable and clean, the hotel facilities are excelent. Took breakfast and lunch at the hotel, and both were very good. The hotel offers private meeting rooms, that can be reserved (one hour for free if you are staying at the hotel), which were very convenient during our business trip

The breakfast was fantastic! Everything you could want! The small gluten free bread rolls were divine! I loved the healthy juices, the kircher and the wide variety of fresh soft fruits. The heated pool was just gorgeous, comfy sun loungers and two hot jacuzzis.

The only thing was when dining in the evening in Cooks restaurant, they couldn’t offer me gluten free rolls with my soup despite there being an abundance at breakfast.

Cook's restaurant food & service were excellent. I like to point out Elizabeth Gonzalez for her attentive servicee. She went out of her way to carry my disb from buffet to my table.

The cable from the wall kept falling off shutting down the service to watch mostly every day. I had to call the desk to get maintenance to fix it .

Great location across a mall with grocery stores and restaurants. Only $5 taxi ride to Malecón. The fitness center and pool area were excellent and so were the breakfast choices. In the room, we had fridge and little coffee machines. Security is great outside hotel and nearby.

Our room was pretty beat up. Deep scratches in floor and table was stained. We also had an issue with a sheet that had a stain. Otherwise would have given a 9.

We stayed one night on our way to the Galapagos. The hotel is very close to the airport with a free shuttle service. The room and the whole hotel were spotless and the pool and hot tubs lovely. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There was a lovely very varied breakfast. There’s a shopping mall a crossed the road with a food court that we used in the evening.

There was nothing not to like

It was a quick stay. We only spent a few hours between flights and it was OK . Needs to be refreshed.. The beds were comfortable enough . The cleanliness was OK too. Value for money was good . reception 24 hours is great

The potential issues with the narco traffickers and the violence that people talk about . This is not the kind of travel and situation we expect when going to a foreign country . just a bit concerning to having heavy armour guard at the door but we were told that the narco people are involved in violence, racket, crime as well . Just a shame to live in such a world.

- very friendly staff with excellent service - best breakfast I've ever seen - transport to the airport was free of charge (because of problems with our flight, we had to drive to the airport twice). - the pool is located on the 3rd floor and we liked the pool and the view very much

- it was not possible to close the cupboard in our room completely. In the cupboard was an automatic light which turned on during movement. We don't know why but it turned on quite often during the evening, which was a bit loud.

The staff is very professional and friendly! The room was exceptional; the restaurants are very good plus they have a walkway to the mall! The hotel is close to the airport and provides a shuttle or a safe taxi service.

I was disappointed that my coffee maker did not work as I had to get up prior to the restaurant opening for an early flight!

Stuff was very friendly and very helpful. Free shuttle bus to and from hotel was excellent. Restaurant Cooks had a lovely menu and food was outstanding. Hotel is located opposite very large shopping mall with above road bridge connecting both places. Felt very safe with increased security around the places.
