We feel fortunate to have booked in this hotel. This is a recently refurbished hotel located in Quito's modern La Carolina area. Just across the street is the new Quicentro shopping center, walk a few meters and you have the Inaquito metro station that will toke you to the Historical district in minutes. Researching the hotel facilities, we found that the hotel had a sauna, great way to relax after touring around the city. Staff was always available to make our stay comfortable, specially Anahi at the front desk. Breakfast had a wide variety of hot and cold options as well as fruits. Regarding WiFi, we were surprised that the hotel signal was strong enough to be picked up inside the shopping center across the street! 96Mbps up and 94Mbps down, guess that can vary by people connected and time. BONUS: you have the red two story tour bus just across the street. We did the city tour and "middle of the world" tour. You have many fine restaurants at walking distance or the food court at Quincentro. Recommend this hotel, for sure we will return if in Quito again.

We were on the 6th floor, facing Naciones Unidas avenue. Traffic noise was no problem for us but perhaps ask for a quiet room if you are a light sleeper.

Excellent location in front of Carolina Park, at the heart of business and commercial zone. Big modern shopping center (Quicentro) with good restaurants (Negroni) and cafés just opposite the hotel. Staff very friendly and always helpful. I asked for a room change which was quickly organized. Good breakfast buffet with a variety of options (fruits, drinks, cold and warm dishes). Comfortable beds and rooms with all facilities.

If you are (like me) a bit sensitive to noise, I would ask for a room on a higher floor. Street noise can be an issue on lower floors as the hotel is situated at the crossroads of two main avenues. Check-in was a little bit slow. I arrived at 13:30 and could only access the room at 14:20 (official check-in time was 14:00, but the hotel had asked for my arrival time and I had indicated to arrive between 13:30 and 14:00). The king suite I had reserved at first stage is a little bit olf-fashioned. Very big and comfortable, but curtains don´t close completely so day light enters early into the room. I would recommend to consider a lamp next to the sofas.

The breakfast is amazing and have options, there is tea and coffee almost all day long, the rooms are big and beds are quite comfy, the gym is also pretty decent, the location is fantastic right across the la Carolina park and the quicentro mall. the staff overall is super helpful.

the property is old, have been renovated but still old, the access with car is right on the main road so that is a bit not helpful .

The staff are very kind and helpful, and the room is clean and spacious. The location is close to the metro, which in my view is the best way to transport to the old town sightseeing places. Living here also conveniently accessible to shopping centers and restaurants, but without the noisy environment in old town. Overall, very happy stay in Quito in this hotel.

The location of this hotel is excellent. Just across the road from a huge shopping mall. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Metro station is a 5 minutes walk away.

The breakfast was just mediocre. We stayed for him a total of 4 nights and breakfasts was just about the same each morning. Maybe guests who don't stay this long may find this a non issue.

The hotel was very clean, the rooms spotless and well appointed catering for what any leisure or business person would need. The food choice for breakfast was very varied and good quality as was the drinks choice. The buffet style aloud you to pick and choose your style and quality. The rooms where quite except when Quito day was being celebrated in the park opposite which is only once a year. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful from the doorman to the waiting staff and reception. Would book here again should I be in Quito

The staff super friendly and always ready to help with a very good attitude!! Breakfast delicious and with a lot of variations..love the detox juice every morning ❤️

The rooms are a bit old so for example in my room to close the blackout I had to put it on top of the aircon filter behind the fridge otherwise it won't close properly and I will have the sun at 6 a.m.

Breakfast was great. Staff was excellent and made us feel comfortable right away.

Coffee in the room was weak. It said it was for two cups, and I made two cups and it came out like yellow water. I need good, strong, coffee in the morning.

La Quinta offered us excellent service. The breakfast buffet is included in the stay and it was very delicious. For us, we like the location because it is central to where we enjoy the malls and the park.

They might need to modernize their rooms a little. The tv was small and the decor a little old.

The hotel was well staffed and secured during the January 9-10 civil unrest / martial law episode. Staff was very helpful, and gave advice for our onward travels. Lobby restaurant and bar was a nice place to have dinner and a few drinks while we adjusted our travel plans.
