No large supermarkets walking distance nearby but 45 c metro was easy and safe to the mall for huge supermarket

From the very moment we arrived we were treated so incredibly well. The staff were incredibly attentive to us, every time we came in or left the property we were offered help. We’ve been travelling for quite a while now and our appartment was so friendly, warm and cosy that we didn’t really want to leave it. Location is excellent on one of the nice streets near the old town. There are a couple of pizza places near by too. Breakfast is provided in the fridge for you to make at your leisure and included eggs, cheese, ham, milk, fruit, fresh bread, jam and fruit juice. We loved this approach and things were topped up and cleaned for us everyday. The place was spotless and rooms quiet and comfortable giving you a wonderful haven to return to after a busy day in Quito.

We like the options available for BF - one being do-it-yourself and the other being in-room service. The fridge was stocked with a nice selection of basics -eggs, butter, yogurt, ham cheese etc. and we loved that fresh bread was delivered daily. There was a variety of fruits which were also replenished daily. When we ordered room service, it came on time, warm (relatively) and well plated. the owner and staff were super helpful with the offerings which you selected the night before. Every member of staff was super helpful, polite and friendly. Towels were also replenished daily as the temperature did not allow them to dry and there was a nice selection of bathroom amenities. They accommodated all our request and went beyond, especially when organizing days trips and dining suggestions. They were always there to greet us when we returned from our daily trips. When we travelled outside of Quito, they even kept a piece of luggage for us until we returned a few days later! Our room was spacious and quite comfortable for two persons. We had room to move around without bumping into each other. Love how they repurposed a family house into a boutique hotel, while maintaining its originality. The street it's located on is quite lively and regentrified with many bars, restaurants, tour companies and even massage services! It's on the outskirts of the old town but safe to walk in the daytime however I would recommend a taxi at night. Great place to stay!

Not sure as we were very happy there. Maybe they can work with the local restaurants to offer deliveries, online ordering and discounts to patrons.

.inside this beautifully renovated property are very large, very well appointed apartments with full kitchen and full size.self refrigerator. Our second stay here and this time in an enormous self catering apartment as large as a small house. The breakfast supplies supplied daily were generous and fresh and meant we didn’t have to attend. at breakfast at a time that suited the establishment. Daily room service includes washing all the dishes- an extravagant gesture! The area is in a lovely old part of Quito within walking distance to all the major attractions yet within a small charming pocket of Quito with many friendly small cafes,restaurants and bars nearby. Every member of staff spoke impeccable English and were extraordinarily helpful and friendly, yet professional . Highly recommend treating yourself to a stay here

I have been travelling the world all my life. The Old Town Quito Suites are the best, most opulent apartments I have ever found ever on Booking.com. My one bedroom apartment was just simply luxurious and appointed with the most beautiful furnishings and facilities. Quito is a magnificent city with so much history and so many things to see. The staff were totally professional and so willing to help. Do yourself a favour and book an experience like no other. This apartment complex is like a high end museum in- itself., situated in a perfect location in the old city. **********

Everything was perfect.

We had a sensational stay at Old Town Quito Suites. The property is absolute stunning. Our room was beautiful and the attention to detail was exceptional. We chose to make our own breakfast as we’ve been travelling for 6 months and it was a treat to cook for ourselves. The food provided was fantastic and fresh every day. The location is great - an easy walk to the Grand Plaza and there are really good restaurants nearby. It was great to have a kick up garage for our motorbikes as well. I think though it was the team there that really made the experience amazing for us. The front office guys were sensational - Leiver, Paulo and Josh were fantastic. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they went out of their way to assist us. We couldn’t have had a more magical stay.

Very well kept, clean and comfortable. Eggs, ham, cheese and fruit are delivered every day. Bed was comfortable along with pillows. Water is hot through the modern showering system. No dining facilities but literally steps from great restaurants. Joz attended to anything you needed...nothing was too much trouble. We even had hot croissants the day we left as we were leaving really early. Highly recommended!

There is hot water in the shower and in the kitchen but it's very slow to arrive (we didn't wait) in the bathroom sink.

Friendly helpful staff. Great location. Spacious beautiful apartment (we were in "high ceiling" room). Clean comfortable and lovely breakfast in your room with fresh bread every day. Good communication before stay. We had fresh flowers and a bottle of wine in our room complimentary. Thank you! This really is a gem of a place and would stay again. The location is in a quiet but up and coming street with a few quirky bars and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Everything! This was the best hotel we have stayed in, in all of our South American journey. Beautifully decorated, super modern appliances, a fridge full of free food, freshly baked bread every morning, fruit, water and breakfast cooked and brought to you every morning at a time of your choosing. Comfortable bed and lovely bathroom and an electric fireplace. The staff were excellent, always checking if we needed something. The location was great, easy walk to the centre of town. We absolutely loved the place and were sorry to leave.

Exceedingly helpful and polite staff. The hotel is on a lovely little street with lights strung across it, and just a short walk away from many restaurants. We loved the suite as a whole - it's great for a longer stay, with a great little sitting/dining/kitchen area and snacks, locally made bread and fruit, juices and bottled water left out for us. We had a 5am start so it was really helpful to have a good breakfast available. The only issue was that with 2 teenage boys we had to give them the larger bedroom with twin beds, which left my husband and me in a rather small double bed in a rather airless small bedroom. It would have been fine for one person. So I'd say our suite would have been perfect for a couple (sleeping in the twin room) with one child (in the double).
