I really liked this hotel, facilities, location, breakfast and stuff are all fantastic; especially Mrs Nada was exceptionally professional and helpful

Sea shoes is a must because beach have rocks.

The location is amazing, and the rooms are extremely good.

If you’re traveling for the beach, this isn’t the right place. The beach is only for viewing; swimming is impossible due to the rocks.

Very clean, new hotel. Lots of staff available. Rooms are large and beautiful. Pool is great and seating by the beach is plentiful and comfortable.

The location was very difficult to find. They say the roads will be better marked in the future but for now it took almost 30 mins just to get from the main road to the entrance. Also they are very particular about having visitors getting past the gate. Having somebody pick you up was a hassle.

From the moment we arrived at Gewan Palace Resort, we were struck by its serene, boutique charm. Tucked away in what initially felt like an isolated slice of coastal paradise, this newly opened resort instantly delivered an air of exclusivity and peace. With the beach quite literally at its doorstep, Gewan offers sweeping sea views and a tranquil atmosphere that makes you feel like you’ve truly escaped. Service: Though the property is still in its early stages, the service was nothing short of impeccable. Every member of staff we encountered was eager to please, proactive, and incredibly kind. A standout was Nada, the property manager, whose presence was felt throughout the resort in the best way possible. She personally ensured guests were comfortable and happy, and you could tell the team respected her leadership—her warmth, attention to detail, and hospitality were a defining part of our stay. Rooms: The rooms were spacious, modern, and very elegant. The huge balcony was probably my favorite perk of the room, as it had this cozy hanging chair overlooking the pool and beach. I would read on that chair every day and it was very serene. Cleanliness: Everytime you walk the property you notice someone cleaning which did not go unnoticed. The resort was spotless. Gym: Loved the gym!! I started using it the last 2 days of our stay and instantly regretted not using it on day 1. The equipment was brand new and the facility was large overlooking the water. Cuisine: As for the food, we genuinely appreciated watching the culinary offerings evolve during our stay. While they’re still working out a few kinks, the daily improvements were noticeable—and impressive. Breakfast featured fresh, buttery croissants, eggs made to order and beautifully baked pastries, always a delightful way to start the day.

We had a wonderful family stay at this hotel and enjoyed every moment. The facilities were excellent, and the beach was beautiful. Though it has some small rocks in the water, it was no issue for us, as we came prepared with beach shoes. What truly made our experience special was the staff. Nuha from guest relations gave us a warm welcome and support throughout our stay, while Chef Ali went the extra mile to personally take care of our son’s allergy needs. Every morning, he prepared delicious gluten-free breakfast meals, which gave us peace of mind and made our family feel truly cared for. The beach safety guards, and the entire hotel team also contributed to a safe and pleasant atmosphere. We left with special moments and great memories, and we are already planning our next vacation here. Highly recommended for families looking for comfort, care, and unforgettable hospitality.

The only downside was that a few times we had to call maintenance, and the response was slower than we hoped.

I can only call it a palace the property is amazing the rooms and premises are nothing less than luxury . We had the chance to stay in an apartment on the GF with direct access to the pool . The pool is huge with a bar all day music was playing with a live DJ . The staff were amazing especially Nuha the guest relations in charge she was helping us from the time we made our reservation until the day of check . She is an amazing member of Gewan . We had the chance to meet the GM mr hossam as well he was so welcoming and helpful. They have a lebanese chef Ali he prepared for us some amazing food . The beach is turquoise and the sand is very clean .

The only issue i had was the location and the uber took some time to reach u can only solve this pb if u arrange a private car with a driver or if the concierge arrange a car for u ahead

Rooms almost new, in excellent conditions, pool party everyday, and nice DJ throughout the day at pool area. Free visit (Voucher) to aqua park ( small one) at nearby Gewan resort. All staff are great, Noha, Ahmed, & Nabeel at front desk.Hassan & Ahmed from concierge and Mohamedfrom Housekeeping mad our stay perfect and hassle free. Thank you all.

1- Gas cooker only for decoration, not possible to use it due to the most ironic reason ( Safety reasons ).gas cylinder removed. If you need cooking you should call them to arrange chef from restirant to cook whatever you need. As if we don't, have it in every house. It should be declared earlier in case we plan to use it. 2- Sandy beach need more attention as it is full of small rocks underwater and not easy to swim there.

Friendly staff, clean, newly decorated, luxury rooms, quiet hotel, I would say it is more suitable for adults with no kids. Massive pool, beautiful view, lovely shore. We were able to use the Gewan resort facilities for free, which was a massive positive point, as they had a water park, a calmer sea, and many pools, plus Gewan Resort had a good variety of food to purchase if you went with breakfast only in the Gewan palace. The palace had a massive gym, with brand new equipment.

Too much security checks before you reach the hotel. If you don't have your own car, u won't be able to leave your hotel. The place is located next to the presidential palace, which is why there was a high alert of security. The hotel is too quiet for families with kids, u must be on half board or all inclusive as you won't be able to buy any cheap food there. Spa was overpriced.

The staff is simply amazing, from the reception, the restaurant staff and the cleaning team. All are very nice and professional. The rooms are very luxurious, big and clean, the pool is marvelous and the beach is beautiful, although rocky.

The major issue is the loud music at the pool from the morning until evening, even when there is no one there. The DJ plays the same playlist over and over again, and the volume is really exaggerated. Although we have asked to reduce the volume a couple of time, still it has not changed.
