Room maintenance didn’t solve minor problems i asked to solve 3 times drops of the water heater the room door closed me and my wife inside and maintenance came started to solve the problem i wanted to leave so asked reception 3 times to send them but it wasn’t solved during 1 week stay Also one chair leg wasn’t good but it was overlooked Room cleaning services were great but the toilets beside beach pool was extremely dirty i think hotel doesn’t control somethings like those and also their deal with the great restaurant beside it needs more attention for shared places Another point is strict policy on breakfast felt that open buffet has some rules according to number of adult visitors and number of children

Initially, our plan was to visit the El Alamein battlefield sites and the war museum in a day from Alexandria. But later we came up with the idea to stay longer and combine the cultural and historical program with a comfortable beach holiday. The hotel is located inside a fashionable guarded complex, 5 minutes walk from the magnificent beach. Silence, peace, fresh air. The hotel itself was almost empty in November (off-season) and this was an additional bonus for us. Excellent service, cleanliness, friendly staff, clean swimming pool, all the necessary things declared when booking. We were also allowed to stay until the evening on the day of checkout for free, since our flight to Europe was late in the evening.

This is not related to the hotel as such, but rather a question of logistics. The hotel is located inside an elite guarded complex on the seashore. There is no public transport inside the complex and it is difficult to find a taxi. It is not possible to call Uber or Careem inside the complex. Therefore, it is highly advisable to have your own car. If you do not have a car (like us), then it is 15 minutes to walk to the nearest supermarket/restaurant, 25 minutes to the center of El Alamein with its share of restaurants and shops.

The location is very good and close to many restaurants. - Staff are friendly, specially Ms. Hagar. - The beach was clean. - Room area is good.

Café is very close to the rooms and noisy at night. - The lake is only accessible through the café with extra charge. - Many flies in the cafeteria and no indoor tables. - Food hygiene. - High pillows.

The beautiful scenery and good location , quiet and cozy, staff was very helpful and food of Sakura restaurant of the hotel was very good , also the access to the beach is super, beach is great.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Marina 5 in the North Coast! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, and to our surprise, our booking was upgraded to a beautiful lake view suite. The entire atmosphere was incredibly relaxing and comfortable — exactly what we needed for a short getaway. The staff were all super friendly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful escape with great hospitality!

The breakfast was fine.

The hotel is very beautiful & clean. It is right in front of the public beach. The staffs (esp Freddie) are super friendly and helpful. They helped us to get familiar with the area.

The free breakfast was underwhelming but when we order pasta & chicken zinger set from the hotel restaurant (Sakura) it was amazing.

Only one thing There is no stairs to get out from the lake when you try to swim at the front lake

1. Staff are friendly and very hospitable. They are the best. 2. Location is excellent. 3. The hotel immediately overlooks the Lake which is magical at night and convenient at day. 4. Swimming in the lake is so much fun. 5. It is a clean hotel. Housekeeping staff is excellent. 6. Food is good. 7. Parking is very convenient. 8. Rooms are comfortable and spatially sufficient. They are also equipped with new efficient, calm Air Conditioners.

1. You have to climb irregular rocks up and down to get into the water. Only a simple stairway would be very helpful and more than enough. I really hope that stairways be installed to make the experience much better. 2. The bathroom and the room’s doors are a little out of shape. Minor remodeling would resolve this issue.

I had a great stay at Golden Lake Marina Hotel. The entire staff were super nice , helpful, professional and customer oriented. Since Check-in , the front desk manager was very welcoming and eager to ensure our satatisfaction with the suites we were to settle in . The rest of the front desk staff in particular Mr. Fattouh and the young lady at the reception front desk were very professional , friendly and positively responsive to all our requests during the entire stay. The hotel is very clean and cozy. All in all, we had a superb excellent stay and for sure will come back to this great hotel and its current management. Thanks to each and everyone of the staff for making our stay a one to happily remember! 😀
