The breakfast was very good and tasty. Much thanks to the chef, Amr, for his dedication and attention to detail. I enjoyed Egyptian coffee very much. The staff was always accommodating and friendly. The airconditioning and WIFI were great. The location was good, within walking distance of the restaurants, Tahrir Square and the Egyptian museum.

There was nothing to dislike.

The hotel is new, with a sophisticated interior design, and it is centrally located. Everything a tourist might need is within walking distance. Restaurants, shops, and a pharmacy. The street noise doesn't reach the room, and it is quiet at night. The bed is comfortable. The staff is kind and helpful. The breakfast is abundant, varied, and delicious. The chef is courteous. The room was clean upon check in. We would return next time as our experience was positive.

After checking in, there was no cleaning during our stay. It's possible that you have to request it from them.

Brand new hotel, happened to be there on second day after inauguration. Well designed tastefully lit spacious rooms, comfortable beds, spacious attached toilets with separate enclosed shower area, clean linen. Very good AC. Excellent location, Metro, Nile river, Cairo museum, top rated restaurants Kazaz, Abu Tarek etc in walking distance, most attractions within short distance. Easy to get taxis. Breakfast hall in big. Very helpful staff, Mr. Amr the main chef prepares great breakfast, special juices every day, gives personal attention, an amazing person. Andrew at reception is very helpful, speaks good English. Ahmed Faris reservation manager also very enterprising. Overall an amazing hotel.

Nothing, everything good. Shower area doesn’t have hand set, you get wet totally, so they should provide shower caps especially for females when requested. Toiletries were replenished only on request though they can see during cleaning that it’s all exhausted. In the breakfast area, at wash basin, liquid soap should be kept, not soap cakes. I feel these issues may be due to hotel/staff being new. Must resolve over time. Further, only things stated in room specifications in booking.com are provided, so many standard things you may not get, but they are straight stating it. So not discrediting them for these, these are small issues compared to what I like in this hotel.

Everything was perfect … they just renovated the hotel which was close to everything even by walking .. many thanks to our driver Ahmed and our guide Mahmoud who shows us around sightseeings in Cairo downtown and Giza ..polite , kind and always there for anything we needed … highly recommended.. ❤️

It will be difficult if you have heavy bags because cars cannot reach to the hotel enterance

We really had amazing time at this property. We don't like big hotels with no character, but prefer small, family run hotels with nice staff and authentic atmosphere and we got exactly that. The rooms aren't big, but clean, the bathroom is well equiped and the outside areas are very neat. We like the neighbourhood and little Italian restaurant (with great pizza) downstairs just add to the overall very pleasant atmosphere. Our hosts were very helpful with organizing our transfers and trips. Our host at breakfast was also very nice and prepared fresh omelette and different kinds of bread for us every day. We will definitely come back.

We had separate beds, and only one choice of pillow, which wasn't very comfortable for me. I also missed bedlight. Otherwise we liked everything.

Our stay at El Farida was wonderful thanks to the excellent service and the kindness of the staff. The employees are very attentive and care about every detail. I would especially like to highlight Youssef, the receptionist, who made our stay even more pleasant and comfortable with his dedication and professionalism.

Breakfast can be improved…

Rooms were exactly what pictures show. Very clean room and bathroom. Quiet at night even if there are some caffes in the area. Big room and nice decorations! Nice breakfast area Very polite and professional stuff! (Special credits to Mr. Jusef Mohammed)

Be careful of extra charges for city tax especially if you book with booking.com

My stay easy short but lovely. Particularly thankful to Hassan from the staff that organised amazing tours in Cairo as well as night event for my friend and I. Very competent and professional. Need to arrange anything else from the hotel? Ask Youssef, he will be able to help you 🙏🏼
