The hotel staff was very friendly, and did several things that went above and beyond the expectations. Firstly, we are vegetarian, and had a flight at 5AM. The hotel staff actually volunteered delicious falafel sandwiches before we left. That made the travel really enjoyable. Secondly, they offered water in hot Cairo soon as we walked in and offered a free pyramid view upgrade which was really thoughtful. Thirdly, our alarm didn’t ring before the final outgoing flight. The hotel staff rang our phone for confirmation since we had taxi with them, and ensured we were out the right time. The driver also happily waited for ~40 extra minutes. The basics were well covered: clean room, cool, all the appliances worked well, etc. The staff also spoke good English and that really helped. Honestly, the best stay in 3+ hotels in Cairo, also being the cheapest. Couldn’t ask for more!

Great hospitality! I arrived early morning They arranged free pick up from airport. Thank you so much for Mario. He was helping me a lot since I didn't land yet. He is caring and supporting to make my stay and my trip smoothly even I stayed here only a night. In the morning, 7am he provided me a breakfast which is for a next day but I have to leave early morning. I checked out and leave a luggage here. Once I came back again he let me rest and prepare myself for my flight at night. By the way this hotel can arrange a tour as well

Delta hotel ! The best small private owned hotel business in Giza. Location is awesome, great rooftop view and terrific breakfast( not buffet, it’s lots of food with service, another level from from European continental but not full American breakfast, there is a scramble eggs dish is hot dish). Each staff we encountered are surprisingly friendly and helpful ! We are firm the states, and we are happy with the customer service experience in Delta hotel. The room is so new and everything is clean ! Beautiful bathroom. We also stayed at different places in Cairo, this is by far the most stay during our visit. Mario, front desk, very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast server extremely attentive. Hisham, the co partner of the company, gives great deal On tours and no price gauging, no pushing, smooth relaxing experience with him. If you want a safe clean place. Look no further ! Delta hotel is the gem in Giza.

This was generally a great stay - Mario is friendly and his staff are all able to communicate in English. He included a tour of the Giza pyramids (which could easily be seen out our balcony window), Nile River boat tour, and city tour (Egyptian Museum, Hanging Church, and Mosque Madrasa of Sultan Hassan) for a reasonable price. The hotel room is clean and we appreciated the complimentary pickup from the airport even at 3 am.

Mostly good but the hotel wifi was relatively slow. It's useful for texting and simple browsing, but difficult to access some websites. My recommendation is just to enjoy the beautiful view during the stay.

Outstanding customer service. An unforgettable experience. Big and comfortable rooms. The hotel is close to the Pyramids and with easy access to most of the points of interest. The view from the roof is spectacular. There are several options to eat close to the hotel (I strongly recommend trying the fresh juices from the next door). We had all the necessary support from the friendly hotel staff and felt very safe at all moments. They didn't measure efforts to make our stay unique and to guarantee a fantastic experience.

I can only repeat that the staff is doing everything possible to guarantee a fantastic experience. :)

Location was excellent. We received an upgrade to our initial room, from the manager, and it was free of charge, and we were thankful for that. The view from the room and from the restaurant towards the Giza Pyramids was excellent. We took some great sunrise photos of the pyramids. We had two excellent drivers , Ahmed and Mahmoud, which later became our friends. Ahmed took us on some great trips to the pyramids , Khan el-Khalili, Dashur and Saqqara Pyramids, and also gave us the opportunity to taste a great falafel sandwich in downtown Cairo. Breakfast is untill 11.00 , which was great for us.

We were very impressed by this hotel. It is a clean, simple option with a lovely view of the pyramids from the upstairs terrace. This is family-run and stood out for its commitment to outstanding service. We were picked up at the airport by the hotel’s driver, for no additional cost, despite the 45 minute drive from the airport. When I needed to confirm our tickets for the sleeper train the next evening, one of the hotel staff drove me to the train station and back, helped me sort things out at the ticket window and refused to take any additional payment. They also ordered my kids the exact food they wanted (one wanted to try an Egyptian specialty while the other wanted chicken nuggets…) to be delivered to the hotel and allowed me to repay them with a payment from my debit card. This saved me dragging the kids around to find the food each of them wanted in a new neighborhood, late at night. I would definitely recommend this as an easy option with a lot of support to help you set up local tours or, in our case, take care of important details (food, cash, any toiletries we forgot at home) after arriving in Egypt.

I would have preferred to choose a few items for breakfast, or a buffet, as we were served several plates of food and ate very little of it. Also the noise from the street in one of the bedroom was quite loud and made it difficult to sleep, even though the hotel itself was quiet.

I had the most amazing time at The View Delta Hotel. As a solo traveler, I felt extremely safe and cared of. I made a booking just few hours before reaching but everything was beautifully coordinated. Despite reaching the property at 1 am, they made no qualms. The rooms are really neat and clean, and there’s a stunning view of the pyramids from the restaurant. Sama, who I started fondly sky, was really helpful in showing me places to go to, how to best optimize my short stay. MR/Maro, the manager, helped coordinate my pick up and also showed me to nearby markets! Shaaban, waited a long time for me at the airport and was the first Egyptian I interacted. An absolute gem of a person, he drove me back late at night and made me feel very safe. Moustafa, the chef helped me to amazing food and saif served me with such kindness! 10/10 recommend.

Everything was perfect and well organised. The room was HUGE and so new and clean. I recommend getting a room with a balcony. You will have an amazing view of the pyramids. Everything was so clean and quiet. I was very impressed. Ahmed picked me up from the airport. He was a very safe driver and so respectful. Mario the manager made sure everything was perfect. He was also very funny and helpful. Mido the owner was so accommodating. He was unable to organise a tour guide to take me to the pyramids as I made the request very last minute so he took me himself! The breakfast on the rooftop in the morning overlooking the pyramids was such a treat. All of the staff are so friendly and make you feel so welcome. I felt so safe as a solo female traveller! I will be back again very soon. Thank you! Much love from Australia! 🫶🇦🇺

Location & Accessibility The View Delta Hotel is located in Giza, about a 10-minute walk from the Pyramids. Unlike hotels right next to the pyramids, this one is on a main avenue with more markets and local shops nearby, which adds to its convenience. Hotel Setup & Restaurant The hotel occupies the top floor of a multi-story building and features a restaurant with an open terrace offering a real, unedited view of the Pyramids. Unlike many other places that use photoshopped images on their booking pages, I can confirm the views here are 100% real. Tourist Pricing & Dining Since Giza is heavily tourist-driven, most places prefer payments in USD or Euros. The hotel’s restaurant also lists its prices in USD, but they are reasonable. * Breakfast: Included in the stay, served buffet-style. While not an extravagant hotel breakfast, it was satisfying with options like tomatoes, cucumbers, Egyptian pita, bread, fava bean dishes, and potatoes. * The best part? Enjoying breakfast on the terrace with a stunning view of the Pyramids. Room Quality & Comfort During our two-week trip across Egypt, this hotel had the best room standards among the six places we stayed at within a similar price range. * The hotel is newly renovated, and we had a spacious room with one single bed and one double bed, perfect for three friends. * We had a minor issue with the TV remote, but the staff quickly resolved it. * The only downside: poor ventilation. The bathroom stayed humid, and one of us slipped and fell due to the moisture. Thankfully, no serious injuries, but this was a downside to note. Extra Services & Hospitality * After checking out, we left our luggage at the hotel for free until our evening bus. * When we returned, we still had time before our departure, and they let us relax in the restaurant for a few more hours, which was a nice touch.
