Nice, stylish, new hotel. good location on the beach, close to downtown. mostly comfortable rooms. hotel is nice and Cosy, quite. very good breakfast. the team and the manager of that restaurant is amazing. very attentive, always trying to do better and more. the best service we have experienced.

reception team is unprofessional. from the time of check in to the check out. they just do not care. the worst thing was when we booked airport transfer for the check out, and at 6 am if our departure the transfer was not there. apparently they just forgot. even worst was the reaction of reception manager who was not planning to do anything, although we were risking to miss our flight. only after insisting, he found another car which costed much more. and only after insisting, the hotel covered the costs. Despite I have asked that management should call me upon their work day start, nobody contacted us

Wonderful experience at the Chedi El Gouna. I knew very well The Chedi brand, and wanted to try out the new hotel at Red Sea. The check-in did not start great, as my request for 2 separate beds I made through Booking.com was not received at the hotel. Next morning, this was sorted promptly and we got a gorgeous beach front room with 2 beds. A huge shout out to the hotel staff. Wonderful throughout, cleaning team, restaurant staff, beach staff! The property is beautiful, in stylish brown and beige colors. Location is great, as you can easily and safely walk to El Gouna center, with a promenade full of restaurants, cafes, shops, supermarkets, pharmacy. All you want is there. We also had BBQ dinner at the Chedi and it was great.

The beach was windy when we where there (the staff does bring you windbreakers next to the sunchairs) and the entrance to the water is a bit pebbly. Still fully enjoyed the beach and the privacy feeling.

We were extremely pleased with our private house keeper Mohamed Ayman. He made our stay even more comfortable and joyful. Please see the recommendation letter below.

I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always greeting guests with warm smiles and a genuine willingness to help. It’s clear they take great pride in their work and in maintaining the hotel’s high standards. A special mention goes to Amr, the room cleaner, who was absolutely outstanding. He ensured our room was spotless every day, paying attention to every little detail. His professionalism and kindness truly enhanced our stay. The food was another highlight, with a variety of delicious options. The Japanese restaurant, in particular, was a standout—flavourful, fresh, and beautifully presented. Each meal was a delight, and the chefs clearly put great effort into their craft. The resort itself is immaculate. The grounds are beautifully manicured, with lush greenery and pristine walkways. Everything was tidy and well-maintained, contributing to a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of excellent service, great food, and a stunning setting made for an unforgettable stay. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a first-class experience!

Nice view from the room, good location and good main restaurant. Very nice and helpful staff, and mostly excellent service.

The in-room breakfast was coldish upon arrival, even if it was 2 min walk from the restaurant. Food in Nihon was disappointing. Maybe sushi is ok, - we did not eat it but the dishes we tried were disaster - basmati-type rice with Chinese wok to eat with chopsticks?! We went to couple of places outside - Mios - 5 min walk from Chedi - served excellent sea food. MerbBey - very good Lebanese restaurant but you need Uber or taxi.

The location, the hotel decor and ambiance, and the food was excellent!

The hotel doesn’t do any entertainment like a band to play at night or sunset drinks with music or anything like that. That i would say is the only thing missing that would make the hotel an AMAZING stay. For now its very very good, but if they added something to do at night, like a themed band every night something different.

I had a really nice stay at The Chedi El Gouna. The hotel is beautifully designed with a calm and minimalist atmosphere, making it a great place to relax. Everything feels well thought out, from the spacious rooms to the quiet pool areas. The staff were friendly and professional, always helpful but never intrusive. The food was good, especially the breakfast, with a nice variety of fresh options. The location is also great—peaceful but still easy to get around. What stood out the most was the overall sense of space and tranquility. It never felt crowded, and there were plenty of spots to unwind, whether by the pool or at the beach. If you're looking for a quiet, well-designed place to recharge, this is a great option. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay at the Chedi was exceptional! Thanks to the staff from the room service to life guards, The Restaurant and Beach House that made our stay 10/10 The rooms were cleaned and decorated daily and the service was non stop and everyone were friendly and welcoming. Thanks to room service team! The Guest Relation Manager Maria helped us a lot navigating the hot spots and made reservations. The restaurant did an amazing job and even greater food everyday it got better and better! Thanks to Chef Nady and his team Hamd, Islam, Mahmud (serving eggs), Ahmed, Bishoy, Fatima and Marina The Beach House service was great too! thanks to Salem, Ahmed and Omar special thanks to life guards as well, Shebl, Islam, Ibrahim, Hatim and everyone on beach Duty. the stay will not be the last and can't wait to visit back and meet the great team again!

The Chedi El Gouna is a wonderful place if you’re looking for a pleasant and comfortable holiday getaway. Really cosy while spacious and well furnished rooms (really recommend the Junior Suite category), amazing and attentive, overly friendly staff, great resort right at the beach with amazing outdoor pools with cabanas free of charge and a well equipped gym (Technogym gear). Half board and Nikon restaurant also highly recommended.

The property was 10/10. However, during a stay in mid-November, it becomes quite windy on certain days and especially in the evenings. So be prepared and bring enough clothes to change…
