The decoration and aesthetic of the place is wonderful. The place really looked beautiful and well thought of. The room was very chic and spacious. The breakfast was delicious and the wait staff at breakfast were so nice!

The place was over priced for what we got. The price that we paid on booking did not match what we actually got charged and it was obvious that this is a common thing that either the hotel is in on it or its both booking and the hotel that do this. But you will be charged more than what is given to you on booking and they will do it without you authorizing this to begin with.

I had a great stay at Ali Pasha Hotel in El Gouna. The team there is amazing — especially Sandy at reception, who was very helpful and made everything so smooth. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and I loved the hotel’s cozy atmosphere and beautiful architecture. The pool is on the smaller side but very cozy and relaxing. The beach is nice too, although it’s a bit of a walk. The location is a big privilege — so close to the Marina, which makes everything super convenient. If I could suggest one thing, it would be to improve the breakfast — the variety was limited and the taste could be better. Overall, the best thing about Ali Pasha is definitely the staff — they really make you feel welcome and taken care of.

1) The location is very good, close to the tuktuk station and the market. You can take a tuktuk to go to KBC or Riah easily. 2) The room I stayed was quite big. 3) Staff is helpful, don't forget to ask to print your boarding card on the way back. 4) The room and the bed was clean.

1) Breakfast may have more options, it's kind of limited and you will feel same every day if you will stay longer. 2) You have to walk for the beach. Beach beds are comfortable. 3) Wifi is weak and has to be improved. 4) There is no place to hang your wetsuit or swimsuits after the beach. 5) Hand soap was very chemical, dried my hands, I had to buy another soap from the market.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, taking care of the guest needs. I would specially like to thank Ms. Sandy at the reception who changed the room to a ground floor room, when she noticed that my mother is a senior citizen without any request from our side (most attentive and focus on details). The food was very good and tasty and the quantity quite filling. The rooms were clean, well-organized and most comfortable.

Its location next to Marina was amazing and it was a walking distance from the beach. The breakfast was very nice and the facilities both in the room and the hotel as a whole were of an exceptional standard. What made this stay even more memorable was the amazing staff from those in housekeeping to those which were a part of the kitchen staff. In particular the receptionists Andrew and Gerghis were extremely friendly and approachable and helped me and my friends sort out activities for the stay which made the trip so much more fun.

- Staff was very nice except for Wissa. I told him they forgot to leave the complimentary water bottle in the room, so I had to use to 2 small bottles from the minibar. He’s answer was: ‘So you are telling me you do not wan’t to pay for these 2 bottles from the minibar?’. Found this answer very unprofessional, by common sense if they forgot to leave the complimentary water bottle of course the client should never have to pay for the 2 water bottles from the minibar.

Room fittings and location

Receptionist asked the security to call me back in to see the reception while I was already in my car rushing to catch a meeting after check-out, to ask me to pay 40 Egyptian Pounds that I consumed in the room. Note: this bottle was complimentary as I was told at check-in. I found this situation extremely cheap given that I paid almost 5000 Egyptian pounds for less than 12-hours of room use.

I'm a big fan of boutique hotels - without the crowds, quiet and cozy. Ali Pasha was like this - with an easy atmosphere, nicely decorated and super chilled. Breakfast was very nice even though it was not not a buffet. Anyway, plenty of the options we could choose from was very satisfying. Coffee and the fresh juce were just delicious. Ali Pasha has also a great location (right in the marina).

Beautifully designed. Small but exquisite. Friendly staff and delicious food at the Tandoor restaurant. Especially Samsam and Kero. Thanks to all their help. Room was very comfortable.

TV was too small. A female staff at the reception spoke without smile and has a cold attitude. It would be more helpful if the staffs at reception can introduce a bit about the town.

Amazing property and ambience, the hotel is super clean the staff are amazing and very helpful. Sandy was so supportive and helpful, she organized and amazing suite for us. Gouna and Ali pasha was the best experience I had in Egypt I very highly recommend this city and the hotel. Looking forward to come over again.
