Possibly my best stay so far in central America. The rooms are well constructed, no tiny holes in the wall for the bugs, everything is clean, AC perfect, bathroom beautifully made, very nice front desk, and my request for an extra day was accommodated.

It's NOISY, especially on the last day a group came for breakfast not caring about hotel guests. Slamming doors, and street vendors' noise required me to use earplugs. Better insulation and asking guests to keep it quite would make this hotel a 10/10

No comments everything was fine. It is quite far away from the centre (taxi $10 one way), but the area of the hotel is much nicer with numerous options for eating and drinking and shopping around the corner, although the area is relatively expensive. Easy Walking distance to Tica bus terminal. Purified water is provided. Excellent shower and well working Aircon. A few hours early without additional charge.

The “curtain” offers barely any privacy in the room when lights switched on in the evenings as it is transparent. A little pricey but I assume this is related to the location.

Staff is very friendly and professional, there is always someone at the reception 24hrs a day, so it felt safe and you can leave your key with them and dont have to take it to the streets. The room was very clean, breakfast is included and was pretty good, too. The location in San Benito Neighbourhood is very convenient too, I always felt safe even walking at night. In the end I ended up staying more nights than I had planned in this hotel.

Clean and comfortable room with great shower, decor, and WiFi. Morning Breakfast and friendly staff made the visit a pleasant journey. The location was great, with many restaurants, bars, and other stores nearby with a friendly neighborhood vibe.

1. Be careful when getting a room looking into the main street, as the nearby bar/club may push the volume too high. (The hotel moved me the next day to a perfect quick/private room). 2. Don't speak Spanish?! - Get your Google Translate ready as you will need it to communicate with the staff.

It was a short trip with my family and this place was really good, because it is cheap and very comfort, the breakfast is so delicious, the staff is very friendly and the place is located in a good area

They just has a one problem and is a noise in the area, because they are located in a commercial area so near of them so there are a restaurant and they open only in the night BUT if you are like me that don't care the noise because sleeping like a bear, so no problem about it

The hotel is in a great neighborhood with loads of restaurants within a short walk and very safe. The hotel staff were also super kind, helpful and professional at all times. They were able to accommodate me with all requests for transport and even a quick breakfast to go. Facilities were very clean and minimalist which I appreciated.

I found nothing to complain about at all. If I return to San Salvador again I will definitely stay at Hotel Citlalli.

The neighborhood/ location is great, lots of good bars and restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are nice, having a concierge at all times during the day is definitely a plus especially for tourists who are checking in/out or need support (or a bottled water/ beer from the hotel fridge) at off hours. Breakfast menu lets you mix and match options, especially useful for guests staying at the property for 3+ days.

Perhaps the bed could be more comfortable.

being in San Benito neighbourhood, you are a stone throw away from restaurants/bars in a touristy and safe neighborhood, however this hotel is tucked away from the hustle bustle of it all providing tranquility and peace and quiet. really friendly staff! despite staff not speaking English, I was able to use Google translate to communicate with them in Spanish and they were very friendly, patient and hospitable. there was hot water in the shower! the bin inside the toilet was huge and great in terms of quantity there was a bottle of complimentary water which was a nice touch

no box tissue inside the room soundproofing of the walls was thin, my room was facing the backyard where breakfast is served and one point a group came back from the bar and was hanging there talking and I could hear everything. juice served during breakfast was not fresh, it was like a cordial I had to give my keys to the reception in order for them to clean/tidy my room, so it doesn't look like there is a daily housekeeping service

very cute boutique hotel. very friendly and accommodating staff. they treated me like family. very good location. plenty of eating establishments within walking distance.i would stay here again.

I would recommend the owner/operator to consider providing an electric water heater for the rooms to make coffee or tea.

Beautiful room with huge bed. Hot water in the shower. Really friendly staff and on the day I arrived helped me arrange transport from a different part of the country. Desayuno típico was great.
