The pool is like a little Oasis, its a nice size, was never too busy and the area around is great for sunbathing. All staff, particularly the pool bar staff were super friendly and helpful. The location is perfect - a short walk to the San Juan beach, many restaurants the tram stop is closeby to explore the city or other towns. The buffet breakfast had a great selection for all. The fruit was so fresh and delicious. The gym was very clean and well kept, its small but has all you need. There are work out facilities on the beach too.

I loved the facilities; the room was lovely and I think newly refurbished. My room was on the third floor and overlooked the pool. Staff were friendly. The pool was clean and service there was good. Easy to get around as fairly close to tram and there'a supermarket nearby.

You can hear everything going on in the rooms next door. My neighbours were very loud and liked to drink in the evenings. Very expensive food at the hotel. It was good but not what I expected for 3*. But, in saying that, I'm not sure why the hotel is not 4*

Hotel was very clean, rooms were modern with a large balcony area. The pool was a fabulous addition to the hotel, the two girls at the pool bar were very polite and friendly. The call button service was such a treat. Pool bar food was lovely. We didn't rate the restaurant but I know it is very popular with lots of people. We preferred going into Alicante for dinner in the evenings. Breakfast was good, not a huge selection but everything on offer was fresh. In terms of location, the hotel is in San Juan. Located right across the road from a 7km stretch of beach which locals say is the nicest beach in Alicante. The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk from the 'Costa Blanca' tram stop. The tram goes into Alicante centre & also goes out as far as Benidorm if you wanted a day trip there. It's €1.45 per trip which is great if you want to go in to the city centre during the day and again in the evening for dinner. It takes about 20 minutes to get from the hotel to the centre by tram. We loved how quiet San Juan was and liked having the option to go into Alicante centre. Just note that there isn't a huge selection of restaurants in San Juan, most of which were very quiet when we had a wander around in the evening (could be time of year). We preferred the buzz of Alicante in the evening. We would definitely stay in the Almirante again!

What a surprise this hotel was! We stayed for 3 nights with breakfast and everything was perfect. Breakfast had a good selection, cooked breakfast, continental, lovely pastries, cereals, juices, smoked salmon and if you wanted it cava! The pool was fresh, quiet and relaxing. Chiringuito outside serving food and drinks, they give you a bell where they will come and serve you by the pool side or you can go to the chringuito and order. Nice bar inside with good quality food and friendly service. Staff were helpful and friendly, beds were comfy, nice balcony, good size bathroom and everything was clean. When checking out we could leave our bags in a locked room and there are showers and towels if you want to use their facilities (pool or go to the beach) until you need to go. Would defo stay here again to recharge my batteries.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely boutique hotel, and I can't recommend it enough. The hotel has a charming, stylish ambience that immediately makes you feel at home. The bedrooms are bright, airy, and incredibly clean, creating a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. The facilities are top-notch, and everything is well-maintained. Breakfast at the hotel is excellent, with a great variety of options that are fresh and delicious. The hotel café is also of a very high standard, perfect for a casual bite or a relaxing coffee. The pool area is stunning, offering a serene spot to unwind. The location is fantastic—just steps from the beach and surrounded by a wide selection of excellent restaurants. Plus, the tram stop is very close, making it easy to explore the area. All in all, it’s a wonderful place to stay, and I’d definitely return!

Great location, beautiful garden and immediate surroundings, beach is right there. Room is pretty with uplifting colours, not boring white only. Balcony is wonderful. Hotel itself is also nice and well maintained.

Little things, sheets weren’t changed everyday and room’s tea/coffee cups weren’t always replaced/cleaned. Therefore I would say the room was cleaned everyday but not thoroughly cleaned. Breakfast didn’t have any fresh vegetables or healthy brown/wholegrain bread. There was a whole table of sugary sweets tho - pastries, churros, pancakes and more. If you like your breakfast sweet, this is your place.

The hotel was better than expected. Very stylish interior and decor. The staff were so lovely and genuine. The room was lovely with a seaside holiday vibe. The hotel has all the facilities you could want without it feeling like a resort. food was delicious in the restaurant in the hotel. For me the winner was the chocolate fondant dessert with ice cream! The hotel is across the road from the beach which is fantastic. The pool area was so nice although we didn't actually use it due to the weather but was nice to have the option. I got a gorgeous hot stone massage which was a lovely treat. I was really impressed with the hotel and have recommended it to loads of friends and family. Having the tram to go into the centre of Alicante was very handy as you can get the best of both worlds. We wanted a quieter beach holiday but also have a day of shopping in the city. Perfect hotel, perfect holiday. Loved my experience here. The hotel feels more than a 3 star hotel. It is of a very high standard. I felt it was a lovely boutique hotel.

Only complaint was the bed was quite springy so bit uncomfortable for the back as I can feel the springs. Loved the room otherwise.

Very well designed, looking more of 5 star hotel on first sight. Staff very supportive even with my wife's silly questions/ requests. Location and facilities are spot on, area is quiet and easy to reach to all amenities around. Beach towels available with deposit only.

Shower design, water splashing onto floor which is is not designed to be wet causing it to bulge out. Bed shouldn't have wheels it made it squeak a bit, but neighbouring room just turned TV up to fix it. Its only booking.com fault but it should be explained payment is processed separately while card checks are still done by website while booking.

Lovely staff very accommodating. Cleanliness of the hotel was of a very high standard. Very close to Tram station and supermarket

My room didn’t have the balcony that I was expecting (it had a Juliette balcony). I would check this if I stayed again. The only other thing I would say is that breakfast was the same everyday and by the 4th day I was a bit bored with what was on offer. Maybe offering a different type of hot egg rather than scrambled every day or a different type of sausage. A variation in cut fruit would be a suggestion. However, these are just very little things and overall the breakfast buffet was really nice, everything was spotlessly clean and the staff were so friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Large room and balcony, the most comfortable bed, great shower and toiletries. Staff are very professional and attentive. Very good selection of food for breakfast. Restaurant and bar area are very cosy and comfortable. Beautiful swimming pool. Very good location to enjoy San Juan beach. The tram is only 5 min walk and brings you to Alicante in 15 min. Taxis to Alicante was around €15. Our flight was not until late at night but we were able to enjoy the pool for the day, they provide locker room for luggage and there are changing rooms/shower and towels provided to be able to get changed before heading to the airport. I’m surprised it has only 3 starts. It has a 5 start comfort.
