Very happy with the Wifi! As I was working remotely for 2 days, I was afraid internet would not be good enough. Internet was very fast, rooter was near my bed !!! About 2-3 times per day, my laptop would just lose internet connection. But after max 1 Minute, internet connection was restored. Very clean place ! I had shared toilets and they were always very very clean ! Shared kitchen where one can prepare food or tea. Room was not very big, but big enough to allow me to do yoga.

Lovely, traditional, unspoilt hotel in the old quarter of Arrecife with all you need for a simple, authentic stay close to the shops and gorgeous rooftop views of the laguna. Large single bedroom with TV, fan, fridge. Kitchen and dining room where international guests can meet at mealtimes. Welcoming reception area and all professional and friendly staff who take pride in their hotel and keep it immaculately clean and tidy. My bedroom laundry and towels were changed at least twice during my one week stay. Main bus station 12 mins walk away. I felt very safe here and in the whole town. Hostal San Ginés is as described including the photos with helpful guest reviews. Excellent value for money and I would highly recommend. ¡Muchas gracias!

I stayed in Hostal San Gines last Christmas and enjoyed it that much I chose to stay again this Christmas, the staff are fantastic and helpful, the cleaners are happy efficient and really lovely ladies, San Gines is very well located, 1 min walk to the Lagoon where there are plenty of places to eat, approx 200 mtrs up the hill is a massive shopping centre with so many different shops, something for everyone, 2 min walk to the shopping street again with everything for someone, overall well located, cheap cheerful and all the staff are lovely, and a bonus use of the big kitchen area to make your own lunch or evening meal, thank you xxxx

If you are looking for a decent budget friendly accommodation - consider this pleasant place. Very close to all local amenities like bars, restaurants shops. A short walk to the sea front and 10 minutes from the bus station where you can catch a bus to the airport and other places in Lanzarote. The rooms are simple but with and enough space inside. The kitchen facilities are a good bonus and the roof terrace has truly relaxing set up with great views over the town and the water.

Pleasant, well-kept property, which offers a good value stay in a very clean, fairly modern Hostal. There was a kitchen, which could be used by guests to prepare some of their own food, and drinks machines offering hot or cold drinks. Very centrally located - close to el Charco area. One of the receptionists spoke fantastic English. All the staff were friendly and helpful. You can store luggage there.

The Hostal is inclined to be a bit noisy, as there is no carpeting. Therefore when someone closes a door, it echoes considerably throughout the hallway. The hot drinks machine was almost empty of drinks when I tried to get a cafe con leche one day.

Really convenient location and great room for the price. Helpful and friendly staff there 24/7.

The ‘kitchen’ was very limited - just a microwave, kettle and grill so not able to cook much, which was a shame as chose this property to save on eating out. They did buy more cutlery whilst I was there as when I arrived there seemed to be only one knife! Parking was just a couple of roadside spaces (always occupied) and a very sketchy dirt area. I didn’t want to risk damaging the hire car mounting the kurb, so opted to park in the free public car park up the hill.

The location is great to explore the island, with lots of good restaurants and bars only a short walk away. Staff was friendly, the room was very clean, and the airconditioning unit was perfect for cooling Lanzarote’s heat. Shower had good pressure. The price is unbeatable for what you get.

The mattress support was very warped, so mattress was very sunk in the middle on both directions. To make do we slept by the edges of the bed. Considering the price, it’s ok, and I would return if staying only one or two nights.

The hostel has a great location, just a few minutes’ walk to the shop and around ten to fifteen minutes to the beach. The staff were very friendly and a big plus was having a hairdryer and ventilation in the room. The free Wi-Fi was also a great bonus. If I ever come back to Lanzarote, I’ll definitely consider staying here again. Highly recommend!

The only downside was some noise outside the window in the morning, but I know that’s not the hostel’s fault. Despite that, everything was still great!

The location is fantastic and what you get for the price outperforms the competition. There is 24h reception, roof terrace, kitchen, daily room cleaning and you can leave the luggage after the checkout too! The room was basic, but there was a little fridge, big wardrobe and the mattress was really comfortable! AC was working and the windows opened to a shaded area.

The towels were not soaking in much water and the sound carried through the hostel. Fortunately, most people were going to sleep before us.

The staff were lovely, pleasant and helpful. On the first day I had to change out the linnens because they didn't smell fresh or laundered, but the rest of my stay went smoothly!

It was nice to get a room at the end of the corridor next to the fire escape. The window's opened into an air shaft, so no view but there where neighbors chatting loudly into the night so I had to close the windows, it helped some but that made my room a bit hot.
