I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, it was just a one night stopover on a motorcycle trip around Spain and Portugal and I picked it as it was pretty much a convenient way point for me. The staff at reception were really helpful and went above and beyond the call to help. Motorcycle parking was excellent, and although safe and secure enough at the front of the hotel, there is really good underground./secure parking and for which there is no charge for a motorbike. It's a big hotel and there is lift access from the garage to reception and to other floors which makes things easy when carrying motorcycle luggage. I didn't eat dinner at the hotel so cant comment, but there is a small attached cafe bar - beer was the most expensive there during my whole trip in Spain and Portugal and there is another place to eat a few yards down from the front entrance. The walled town of Avila is only a 20 minute or so walk away and there are the usual things including supermarkets etc. All in all a decent stay - breakfast was additonal to the room rate and was decent enough.

There was nothing that I didn't like, and I would stop there again if travelling that way, although it was a larger type of hotel than I would normally stay in the excellent service from the staff at reception added a nice and welcome personal touch.

Very nice hotel close to the the walled town, we drove there by car so parking was easy. On site the hotel has a restuarant as well as a cafe if you want something lighter or to eat a little earlier in the evening. Facilities very good and comfortable. Views overlooking the walled town with a 10 -15 minute walk to get there.

We were informed that do not turn the air conditioning on as it got cold at night. It was over 30 deg in the afternoon it was necessary for us to purchase a small fan. when settling our account the next morning many of the other visitors were complying about the lack of air con!

Great location, easy to find, and good parking large cars. Very good value for money. The cafe/bar attached to the hotel offers very good snacks for people nit wanting a large meal. Or breakfast. The bar terrace has a fabulous view of the medieval city.

No negatives

Everything. The food was very yummy. The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was very good. The veiw was amazing. We have stayed here several times now. Always excellent. Secure underground parking for our motorbike. (Most important..!) Excellent breakfast, plenty of choice.

Nothing to dislike!

The staff were absolutely fantastic. We had lunch there (the oxtail) and it was fabulous. Breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommend the food

Just the location but we took taxi to and from the walled city so it wasn’t such a huge issue.

Great view across to the old town walls. Staff helpful to show us how to access the old town and gave us a map. Nice choice for breakfast.

All shower walls had not been wiped down- graffiti drawn from a previous guest was visible in the steam.

Excellent facilities in this hotel. The restaurant and cafe area were very good. The staff were very helpful. There is a large, free car park outside the hotel. Our room was amazing, with a large bed and a fantastic view of Avila from our loo. Accross the road, a tram runs back and fore the walled town.

Nice solid hotel to stay for a night or two and visit Avila, friendly staff, and I have nothing to complain. Visitors can park their cars nearby for free or for an additional fee in the hotel garage. A few steps away from the famous Cuatro Postes viewpoint. Not really far from the city walls if you like to walk.

ExpeGreat location, although a good walk into Avila center. Lovely room with a good view of the city walls. Good café next door, didn't use the restaurant, expensive. Secure parking for the motorcycle. Slept very well even though the room was on the main road side.

Put a proper door on the loo, you can hear everything!
